Necessary and Sufficient Conditions for the Boundedness of the Riesz Potential in Local Morrey-type Spaces

The problem of the boundedness of the Riesz potential I _α , 0 < α < n, in local Morrey-type spaces is reduced to the boundedness of the Hardy operator in weighted L _p -spaces on the cone of non-negative non-increasing functions. This allows obtaining sufficient conditions for the boundedness in local Morrey-type spaces for all admissible values of the parameters. Moreover, for a certain range of the parameters, these sufficient conditions coincide with the necessary ones. V. Guliyev’s research was partially supported by the grant of the Azerbaijan-U. S. Representations of distributive semilattices in ideal lattices of various algebraic structures

We study the relationships among existing results about representations of distributive semilattices by ideals in dimension groups, von Neumann regular rings, C*-algebras, and complemented modular lattices. We prove additional representation results which exhibit further connections with the scattered literature on these different topics. Carleman estimates and unique continuation property for the anisotropic differential-operator equations

The unique continuation theorems for the anisotropic partial differential-operator equations with variable coeffcients in Banach-valued Lp-spaces are studied.To obtain the uniform maximal regularity and the Carleman type estimates for parameter depended differential-operator equations,the suffcient conditions are founded.By using these facts,the unique continuation properties are established.In the application part,the unique continuation properties and Carleman estimates for finite or infinite systems of quasielliptic partial differential equations are studied.

The main purpose of this paper is to study the surjectivity theorems for maximal monotone mapping in reflexive Banach spaces by using fixed point theory.We prove some new surjectivity theorems under some conditions and give its application in differential equation.

Iterative convergence theorems for maximal monotone operators and relatively nonexpansive mappings

In this paper, some iterative schemes for approximating the common element of the set of zero points of maximal monotone operators and the set of fixed points of relatively nonexpansive mappings in a real uniformly smooth and uniformly convex Banach space are proposed. Some strong convergence theorems are obtained, to extend the previous work.     

Geodesic ideal triangulations exist virtually

It is shown that every non-compact hyperbolic manifold of finite volume has a finite cover admitting a geodesic ideal triangulation. Also, every hyperbolic manifold of finite volume with non-empty, totally geodesic boundary has a finite regular cover which has a geodesic partially truncated triangulation. The proofs use an extension of a result due to Long and Niblo concerning the separability of peripheral subgroups.

     

Some exact expressions for the bulk-arrival queue mx/M/1

For a M/M/1 queueing system with group arrivals of random size the transition probabilities of the queue size process and the distribution of the maximal queue size during a time interval [0,t) are calculated. Simple formulae for the corresponding Laplace transforms are given.

In this paper,a new fixed point theorem is established in noncompact complete Lconvex metric spaces.As applications,a maximal element theorem,a minimax inequality and a saddle point theorem are obtained.     

一类矩阵方程的Hermitian R-对称定秩解

本文研究了矩阵方程AX = B 的Hermitian R-对称最大秩和最小秩解问题. 利用矩阵秩的方法, 获得了矩阵方程AX = B有最大秩和最小秩解的充分必要条件以及解的表达式, 同时对于最小秩解的解集合, 得到了最佳逼近解.
