The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) have been proposed to give a possible future to humankind. Due to the multidimensional characteristic of sustainability, SDGs need research activities with a multidisciplinary approach. This work aims to provide a critical review of the results concerning sustainable materials obtained by Italian researchers affiliated to the National Interuniversity Consortium of Materials Science and Technology (INSTM) and their contribution to reaching specific indicators of the 17 SDGs. Data were exposed by using the Web of Science (WoS) database. In the investigated period (from 2016 to 2020), 333 works about sustainable materials are found and grouped in one of the following categories: chemicals (33%), composites (11%), novel materials for pollutants sequestration (8%), bio-based and food-based materials (10%), materials for green building (8%), and materials for energy (29%). This review contributes to increasing the awareness of several of the issues concerning sustainable materials but also to encouraging the researchers to focus on SDGs’ interconnections. Indeed, the mapping of the achievements can be relevant to the decision-makers to identify the opportunities that materials can offer to achieve the final goals. In this frame, a “Sustainable Materials Partnership for SDGs” is envisaged for more suitable resource management in the future.  相似文献

The atom-efficient and green protocol for formation of pyrano[3,4-e][1,3]oxazines utilizing dimethyl carbonate under ultrasound irradiation in a presence of KF/basic alumina was reported. We provide a novel series of pyrano[3,4-e][1,3]oxazine derivatives interesting for biological screening tests. In general, it was found that ultrasound irradiations enable the reactions to occur which could not be carried out under silent conditions. These remarkable effects appeared in sonicated reactions can be reasonably interpreted in terms of acoustic cavitation phenomenon. Structures of the products were established on analytical and spectral data. This protocol offers several advantages attain many principles of green chemistry including, save energy, atom economy, clean reactions, inexpensive green reagent and use catalysts rather than stoichiometric reagents.  相似文献

Improving optical properties is an important topic in the field of polymer science. In this research, a novel, metal-free, and inexpensive vitamin C sulfonamide adduct has been developed to enhance the optical behaviors of polyvinyl alcohol (PVA). Initially, the vitamin C adduct has been fabricated through atom economic reaction and then characterized using several spectroscopic techniques, including 1H NMR, 13C NMR, DEPT-135, Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), and X-ray diffraction (XRD). Accordingly, a dramatic chemical alteration in ascorbic acid structure has been confirmed and led to enhancing chemical interactions with the host polymer. The ascorbic acid adduct has been doped into PVA to prepare a flexible film of polymer composites with potential optical behaviors. The identity of composite film has specified from FTIR, XRD, and UV–vis spectroscopy. The XRD pattern of the hybrid polymer has revealed a remarkable boost in its amorphous structure compared to the PVA host. The FTIR data of both matrix PVA and its composites reveal the potent chemical interactions of functional groups within the hybrid PVA. The main optical information of synthesized hybrid film was obtained from the UV–vis spectra. The refractive index (n) and dielectric loss (εi) values are elevated notably, whereas the optical band gap energy (Eg) declined from 6.3 to 3.6 eV. The direct electronic transition between the valence band (VB) and conduction band (CB) was determined by implementing Tauc’s model. These preliminary results suggest that the fabricated flexible composite will have an excellent opportunity to use in the manufacturing optical devices.  相似文献

The fashion sector contributes significantly to global environmental pollution. Clothing manufacturing and transportation produce a large amount of greenhouse gas emissions. Recent research has shown that nowadays, the number of consumers that are more willing to pay higher prices for clothes with high sustainability content is growing. This paper provides a broad framework of current trends in the fashion, textile, and garment industry, highlighting circular and slow fashion values that companies and policymakers should address in the coming years to maintain their competitiveness in the market and promote sustainable development. The EU Strategy for Sustainable and Circular Textiles is expected to help fashion enterprises achieve more circular, sustainable, and resilient value chains. Notably, encouraging natural and recycled textiles, design for reuse and recycling, second-hand retail and repair, and product-as-a-service models, particularly for items with high turnover rates, have been highlighted as critical factors for reducing the fashion industry's environmental implications.  相似文献

科技创新是促进经济增长的源泉和转变经济增长方式的关键,那么科技创新投入对经济增长是否存在积极影响?本文运用时间序列方法,在4变量系统内检验了我国科技创新投入与经济增长的内在关系,实证结果显示:①经济增长和固定资本投资、劳动投入、科技创新投入之间存在着长期均衡的协整关系;②科技创新投入对经济增长具有Granger影响,科技创新投入增加会导致经济增长;③在1-15年滞后期内,科技创新投入对经济增长的短期冲击为正向效应。在实证基础上,进一步分析了科技创新投入对经济增长的作用机理和路径依赖,并由此得出相关结论与政策建议。  相似文献
