We prove that for a compact Finsler manifold M with nonnegative weighted Ricci curvature,if its first closed(resp.Neumann)eigenvalue of Finsler-Laplacian attains the sharp lower bound,then M is isometric to a circle(resp.a segment).Moreover,a lower bound of the first eigenvalue of Finsler-Laplacian with Dirichlet boundary condition is also estimated.These generalize the corresponding results in recent literature. 相似文献

The eigenvalues and eigenfunctions of p-Laplacian on Finsler manifolds are defined to be critical values and critical points of its canonical energy functional. Based on it, we generalize some eigenvalue comparison theorems of p-Laplacian on Riemannian manifolds, such as Lichnerowicz type estimate, Obata type theorem and Mckean type theorem, to the Finsler setting. In this paper, a collocation method is given to solve singularly perturbated two‐point boundary value problems. By using the collocation points, matrix operations and the matrix relations of the Bessel functions of the first kind and their derivatives, the boundary value problem is converted to a system of the matrix equations. By solving this system, the approximate solution is obtained. Also, an error problem is constructed by the residual function, and it is solved by the presented method. Thus, the error function is estimated, and the approximate solutions are improved. First-order approximate symmetries of weaklynonlinear, damped-driven oscillators have been determined.First-order approximate first integrals have been obtained byemploying an approximate version of Noether's theorem for the conservativecase. Furthermore, approximate first integrals of the damped case have been obtained based on the first integrals of the conservative case.Approximate first integrals enabled us to identify three types of genericbifurcations. A modification of the material law associated with the well‐known Biot system as suggested by Murad and Cushman (Int. J. Eng. Sci. 1996; 34(3):313–338) and first investigated by Showalter (J. Math. The zero-order Tikhonov regularization method as applied to an equation of the first kind with a multiple differentiation operator is considered for the case when the solution belongs to a class from the domain of the adjoint operator. An estimate of the error of the approximate solution in the uniform metric is obtained, which is sharp with respect to the order, and the order is established. It is proved that the proposed method is optimal with respect to the order. Unimprovable estimates of the order of the modulus of continuity of the inverse operator are obtained. 相似文献

It is established that the subset of freek-generated subsemigroups of the semigroup of all automaton transformations over a finite alphabet is a second category set
(in the sense of the Baire category approach) in the set of allk-generated subsemigroups. A continuum series of pairs of automaton transformations each of which generates a free semigroup
of rank two is indicated. A criterion is established for this semigroup to be a finite-automaton group.

In 1941 Hyers solved the well-known Ulam stability problem for linear mappings. In 1951 Bourgin was the second author to treat this problem for additive mappings. In 1982-1998 Rassias established the Hyers-Ulam stability of linear and nonlinear mappings. In 1983 Skof was the first author to solve the same problem on a restricted domain. In 1998 Jung investigated the Hyers-Ulam stability of more general mappings on restricted domains. In this paper we introduce additive mappings of two forms: of “Jensen” and “Jensen type,” and achieve the Ulam stability of these mappings on restricted domains. Finally, we apply our results to the asymptotic behavior of the functional equations of these types. 相似文献
