Physicochemical properties of π-π complexes of zinctetraphenylporphyrin with aromatic molecules

Features of the solvation of zinctetraphenylporphyrin (ZnTPP) in benzene, toluene,ortho-, meta-, andpara-xylenes were studied by a thermogravimetric method. The temperature ranges of the stability and the compositions of the corresponding specific - complexes were determined from the results of the thermogravimetric investigation of the crystallosolvates of the metalloporphyrin with the solvent molecules, and the energy characteristics of the intermolecular metalloporphyrin—solvent interactions were calculated.Institute of the Chemistry of Nonaqueous Solutions, Russian Academy of Sciences, 153018 Ivanovo. Photophysical study on a new class of benzophenone containing photoinitiators of polymerization: Properties of poly(4-acryloxybenzophenone) and a model compound

The photophysical characteristics of poly 4(2-acryloxybenzophenone), poly-ABP, and its model compound 4(2-methylpropionyloxy)benzophenone, IBP, have been determined by steady state and pulse methods. In IBP the observed properties are mainly due to the n,π1 triplet of the benzophenonic moiety. In poly-ABP, the formation of singlet excimers competes with the intersystem crossing leading to benzophenonic triplet. The triplet lifetime in polymer is reduced, compared to the model compound. This fact is explained in terms of intramolecular hydrogen abstraction of the triplet.     

Enthalpimetric and thermometric determination of some nitrogen containing bases and some physiologically active alkaloids

Summary The enthalpimetric determination of a series of bases by using the reaction of the bases and sodium tetraphenylboron is described. The accuracy of the method is analytically acceptable, over the range 3×10^–5 moles to 7.5×10^–4 moles. The upper limit is determined by the bulk of the precipitate.Dosage forms of some physiologically active alkaloids contain more than the upper limit of analyte. Yet, preliminary investigations using silicotungstic acid indicate that this is suitable for thermometric titrations.

Enthalpimetrische und thermometrische Bestimmung stickstoffhaltiger Basen und physiologisch aktiver Alkaloide

Zusammenfassung Die enthalpimetrische Bestimmung einiger N-haltiger Basen erfolgte aufgrund der Reaktion mit Natriumtetraphenyloborat. Die Genauigkeit ist im Bereich von 3 · 10^–5-7,5 · 10^–4 Mol befriedigend. Eine obere Grenze der Anwendbarkeit ergibt sich aus der Menge des anfallenden Niederschlags. Diese wird bei der Bestimmung von Formulierungen einiger physiologisch aktiver Alkaloide überschritten. Jedoch ist in diesem Fall eine thermometrische Titration mit Hilfe von Silicowolframsäure möglich.

Reaction des lithiens avec les organophosphores. Reaction d'addition du t-butyllithium sur le noyau benzenique des sels de phenylphosphoniums

A new reaction of organolithium compounds with phosphonium salts is described; reaction of t-butyllithium with dibenzylaminophosphonium or tetraphenylphosphonium bromides takes place through addition of the t-butyl group on a benzene ring at the position para to the phosphorus atom, the ylid formed reacts in a characteristic Wittig reaction with p-tolylaldehyde.     

FFC-1离子交换纤维物理化学性能的研究

利用扫描电镜、热失重-红外、元素分析、低温氮吸附等技术和化学手段对聚羧酸基FFC-1离子交换纤维的结构与性能特点等进行了系统研究．结果表明：FFC-1离子交换纤维为含适量酰肼类交联键的聚羧酸(钠)型离子交换材料，外比表面积大和传质距离短是其反应动力学性能优异的主要原因，FFC-1纤维具有良好的化学与热稳定性。在5mol/L硫酸、硝酸、盐酸和2mol／L氢氧化钠溶液中浸泡，交换容量未见明显降低。但过氧化氢溶液对其功能基有明显破坏，CO2为FFC-1纤维在高温区间(300℃～350℃)的主要分解产物。     

人血清与头发中铜,锌,铁,钙,镁,锰含量的相关分析

平行测定了５４例（男３１例，女２３例）成人血清和头发中铜，锌，铁，钙，镁和锰的含量，相关分析结果表明，血清与头发中６种元素的不相关两类样品比较，血清测定方法简便，误差小，但在检测人体内元素含量水平时，头发的测量结果比血清更灵敏。     

Reaction paths of some open-shell reactive intermediates

The intermolecular interaction energy for reacting systems in singlet, triplet and doublet states was partitioned by the perturbation expansion method into the chemically meaningful five interaction terms: the Coulomb, exchange-repulsion, induction, dispersion, and charge-transfer energies. In the local ZDO approximation, these energy terms were evaluated for the dimerization of methylenes (^1,3CH₂), the additions of carbenes (^1,3CH₂ and^1,3CF₂) as well as amino radicals (²NH₂ and²NF₂) toward ethylene, and the hydrogen abstractions by methylenes (^1,3CH₂), nitrene (³NH), and hydroxyl radical (²OH) from methane. It has been found that the reaction path is much influenced by the spinmultiplicity, and that the charge-transfer and exchange-repulsion terms play a dominant role in determining the course of reactions.     

Synthesis and Crystal Structure of a Novel Compound of （C2N2H8O2） H6V10O28

A novel vanadate decamer, involving all vanadium atoms present in +5 oxidation and one formhydroxamic acid dimer cation readical, has been synthesized. The single-crystal X-ray diffraction shows that the orange crystal is formed in the triclinic system, space group Pi, a = 8. 4960 (17), b = 10.447 (2), c = 11.299 (2) A, α= 68. 82 (3)°,β= 87.35 (3)°, γ = 66.97(3)°. V = 855. 3(3) A3, Z = 8, R1 = 0. 0857, wR2=0. 2551. X-ray crystallographic and packing in superlattice studies showed that the crystal structure was constructed by electrostatic attraction of O-H…O hydrogen bonds between formhydroxamic acid dimer cation and decavanadate polyanion. Formhydroxamic acid dimer is got through controlling the condition of the reaction using formhydroxamic acid.
