Asymptotique de la norme $L^2$ d'un cycle géodésique dans les revêtements de congruence d'une variété hyperbolique arithmétique

Let M be an arithmetic hyperbolic manifold and be a codimension 1 geodesic cycle. In this paper, we study the asymptotic growth of the -norm of the lifts of F in the congruence tower above M. We obtain an explicit value for the growth rate of this norm. In particular, we provide a new proof of a celebrated result of Millson [Mi] on the homology of the arithmetic hyperbolic manifolds. The method is quite general and gives a new way of getting non zero homology classes in certain locally symmetric spaces. A covering construction for packing disjoint copies of the Hoffman‐Singleton graph into K50

In this note we show how coverings induced by voltage assignments can be used to produce packings of disjoint copies of the Hoffman‐Singleton graph into K₅₀. © 2003 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. 贝克曼AllegraTM21R型超高速离心机故障排除一例

贝克曼Allegra^TM 21R型超高速离心机开机后，操作面板上出现错误代码“28”，离心机不旋转。离心机的电机采用无刷感应驱动，由电机驱动电源模块BSMl0GD60DN2驱动离心机的电机。故障是由于电源模块BSMl0GD60DN2损坏引起的。采用东芝三相桥式IGBT电源模块MG25Q6ES42代替BSMl0GD60DN2，并更换已烧毁的栅极电阻后。开机试验，仪器恢复正常。     

[Na(18-C-6)]2[Cu(i-mnt)2]的合成与结构分析

研究了18-冠-6与Na2[Cu(i-mnt)2][i-mnt=异丁二腈烯二硫醇阴离子,S2CC(CN)2-2]的反应,得到的配合物[Na(18-C-6)]2[Cu(i-mnt)2](1)通过元素分析、红外光谱、X射线单晶衍射进行了结构分析.配合物为单斜晶系,空间群P2(1)/c.晶体学结构数据a=1.2819(11),b=1.1793(10),c=1.4928(13)nm,β=99.121(16)°,V=2.228(3)nm3,Z=2,Dcaled.=1.369g/cm3,F(000)=958,R1=0.0521,wR2=0.1003.1中的[Cu(i-mnt)2]基团通过配体i-mnt的氮原子与两个[Na(18-C-6)]基团中的钠原子成键,形成稳定的中性配合物.     

一种不等带宽光学梳状滤波器

提出了一种新型—Michelson—三面镜FabryPerot型50GHz不等带宽光学梳状滤波器设计方案,分析和模拟表明:该器件将一路信道间隔为50GHz的输入信号分离成信道间隔为100GHz的奇偶两路输出信号,其中在3dB处,奇数信道带宽大于30GHz用于10Gb/s传输,偶数信道带宽大于60GHz用于40Gb/s传输对于将来的40Gb/s系统,该器件具有优势.

图G的圆色数(又称"星色数")xc(G)是Vince在1988年提出的,它是图的色数 的自然推广.本文由奇轮出发构造了一族平面图,并证明了此类图的圆色数恰恰介于2和 3之间,填补了该领域的空白.     

Admissible slopes for monotone and convex interpolation

Summary In many applications, interpolation of experimental data exhibiting some geometric property such as nonnegativity, monotonicity or convexity is unacceptable unless the interpolant reflects these characteristics. This paper identifies admissible slopes at data points of variousC ¹ interpolants which ensure a desirable shape. We discuss this question, in turn for the following function classes commonly used for shape preserving interpolations: monotone polynomials,C ¹ monotone piecewise polynomials, convex polynomials, parametric cubic curves and rational functions.     

Partially isometric dilations of noncommuting -tuples of operators

Given a row contraction of operators on a Hilbert space and a family of projections on the space that stabilizes the operators, we show there is a unique minimal joint dilation to a row contraction of partial isometries that satisfy natural relations. For a fixed row contraction the set of all dilations forms a partially ordered set with a largest and smallest element. A key technical device in our analysis is a connection with directed graphs. We use a Wold decomposition for partial isometries to describe the models for these dilations, and we discuss how the basic properties of a dilation depend on the row contraction.
