FIXED POINT RESULTS ON METRIC-TYPE SPACES

In this paper we obtain fixed point and common fixed point theorems for self- mappings defined on a metric-type space, an ordered metric-type space or a normal cone metric space. Moreover, some examples and an application to integral equations are given to illustrate the usability of the obtained results.     

A NEW ROPER-SUFFRIDGE EXTENSION OPERATOR ON BOUNDED COMPLETE REINHARDT DOMAINS

In this paper, we construct a new Roper-Suffridge extension operator Φr n,β1,,βn(f)(z) = F(z) = ((rf(z1/r)/z1)β1z1,(rf(z1/r)/z1)β2z2,...,(rf(z1/r)/z1)βnzn)',where f is a normalized locally biholomorphic function on the unit disc D, r = sup{|z1| : z =(z1, ···, zn) ∈Ω}, β1∈ [0, 1], 0 ≤βk≤β1, k = 2, ···, n, then we prove it can preserve the property of spirallikeness of type β, almost starlikeness of order α and starlikeness of orderα on bounded complete Reinhardt domain Ω, respectively.     

Polynomials in operator space theory

The aim of this article is to start a metric theory of homogeneous polynomials in the category of operator spaces. For this purpose we take advantage of the basic fact that the space P^m(E)$P^m(E)$ of all m-homogeneous polynomials on a vector space E can be identified with the algebraic dual of the m  -th symmetric tensor product ⊗^m,sE${\otimes }^{m,s}E$. Given an operator space V, we study several different types of completely bounded polynomials on V   which form the operator space duals of ⊗^m,sV${\otimes }^{m,s}V$ endowed with related operator structures. Of special interest are what we call Haagerup, Kronecker, and Schur polynomials – polynomials associated with different types of matrix products.     

Martingale representation theorem for set-valued martingales

The present paper contains a martingale representation theorem for set-valued martingales defined on a filtered probability space with a filtration generated by a Brownian motion. It is proved that such type martingales can be defined by some generalized set-valued stochastic integrals with respect to a given Brownian motion. The main result of the paper is preceded by short part devoted to the definition and some properties of generalized set-valued stochastic integrals.     

Lifespan of classical discontinuous solutions to general quasilinear hyperbolic systems of conservation laws with small BV initial data: Rarefaction waves

In the present paper the author investigates the global structure stability of Riemann solutions for general quasilinear hyperbolic systems of conservation laws under small BV perturbations of the initial data, where the Riemann solution contains rarefaction waves, while the perturbations are in BV but they are assumed to be C¹$C^1$-smooth, with bounded and possibly large C¹$C^1$-norms. Combining the techniques employed by Li–Kong with the modified Glimm’s functional, the author obtains a lower bound of the lifespan of the piecewise C¹$C^1$ solution to a class of generalized Riemann problems, which can be regarded as a small BV perturbation of the corresponding Riemann problem. This result is also applied to the system of traffic flow on a road network using the Aw–Rascle model.     

The Dirichlet problem for non‐divergence parabolic equations with discontinuous in time coefficients in a wedge

We consider the Dirichlet problem in a wedge for parabolic equation whose coefficients are measurable function of t. We obtain coercive estimates in weighted ‐spaces. The concept of “critical exponent” introduced in the paper plays here the crucial role. Various important properties of the critical exponent are proved. We give applications to the Dirichlet problem for linear and quasi‐linear non‐divergence parabolic equations with discontinuous in time coefficients in cylinders , where Ω is a bounded domain with an edge or with a conical point.     

On a relation between the universal Teichmüller space and the Grunsky operator

Being a Strebel point gives a sufficient condition for that the extremal Beltrami coefficient is uniquely determined in a Teichmiiller equivalence class. We consider how Strebel points are characterized. In this paper, we will give a new characterization of Strebel points in a certain subset of the universal Teichmfiller space by a property of the Grunsky operator.     

Regularity of the inverse of a homeomorphism with finite inner distortion

Let f:Ω→ f(Ω) R~n be a W~(1,1)-homeomorphism with L~1-integrable inner distortion.We show that finiteness of min{lip_f(x),k_f/(x)},for every x ∈Ω\E,implies that f~(-1) ∈ W~(1,n)and has finite distortion,provided that the exceptional set E has cr-finite H~1-measure.Moreover,/ has finite distortion,differentiable a.e.and the Jacobian J_f 0 a.e.
