In this paper we study hybrid iterative scheme for finding a common element of set of solutions of generalized mixed equilibrium problem, set of common fixed points of finite family of weak relatively nonexpansive mapping and null spaces of finite family of γ-inverse strongly monotone mappings in a 2-uniformly convex and uniformly smooth real Banach space. Our results extend, improve and generalize the results of several authors which are announced recently. In this paper, we present a smoothing sequential quadratic programming to compute a solution of a quadratic convex bilevel programming problem. We use the Karush-Kuhn-Tucker optimality conditions of the lower level problem to obtain a nonsmooth optimization problem known to be a mathematical program with equilibrium constraints; the complementary conditions of the lower level problem are then appended to the upper level objective function with a classical penalty. These complementarity conditions are not relaxed from the constraints and they are reformulated as a system of smooth equations by mean of semismooth equations using Fisher-Burmeister functional. Then, using a quadratic sequential programming method, we solve a series of smooth, regular problems that progressively approximate the nonsmooth problem. The class of Ma-Minda convex functions is shown to be closed under certain operators that are generalizations of previously studied operators. The population haplotype inference problem based on the pure parsimony criterion (HIPP) infers an m × n genotype matrix for a population by a 2m × n haplotype matrix with the minimum number of distinct haplotypes. Previous integer programming based HIPP solution methods are time-consuming, and their practical effectiveness remains unevaluated. On the other hand, previous heuristic HIPP algorithms are efficient, but their theoretical effectiveness in terms of optimality gaps has not been evaluated, either. We propose two new heuristic HIPP algorithms (MGP and GHI) and conduct more complete computational experiments. In particular, MGP exploits the compatible relations among genotypes to solve a reduced integer linear programming problem so that a solution of good quality can be obtained very quickly; GHI exploits a weight mechanism to selects better candidate haplotypes in a greedy fashion. The computational results show that our proposed algorithms are efficient and effective, especially for solving cases with larger recombination rates. 相似文献

We consider a group decision-making problem where preferences given by the experts are articulated into the form of pairwise comparison matrices. In many cases, experts are not able to efficiently provide their preferences on some aspects of the problem because of a large number of alternatives, limited expertise related to some problem domain, unavailable data, etc., resulting in incomplete pairwise comparison matrices. Our goal is to develop a computational method to retrieve a group priority vector of the considered alternatives dealing with incomplete information. For that purpose, we have established an optimization problem in which a similarity function and a parametric compromise function are defined. Associated to this problem, a logarithmic goal programming formulation is considered to provide an effective procedure to compute the solution. We obtain a class of primal affine scaling algorithms which generalize some known algorithms. This class, depending on a r-parameter, is constructed through a family of metrics generated by −r power, r ? 1, of the diagonal iterate vector matrix. We prove the so-called weak convergence of the primal class for nondegenerate linearly constrained convex programming. When the matrix of distances between cities is symmetric and circulant, the traveling salesman problem (TSP) reduces to the so-called symmetric circulant traveling salesman problem (SCTSP), that has applications in the design of reconfigurable networks, and in minimizing wallpaper waste. The complexity of the SCTSP is open, but conjectured to be NP-hard, and we compare different lower bounds on the optimal value that may be computed in polynomial time. We derive a new linear programming (LP) relaxation of the SCTSP from the semidefinite programming (SDP) relaxation in [E. de Klerk, D.V. Pasechnik, R. Sotirov, On semidefinite programming relaxation of the traveling salesman problem, SIAM Journal of Optimization 19 (4) (2008) 1559-1573]. Further, we discuss theoretical and empirical comparisons between this new bound and three well-known bounds from the literature, namely the Held-Karp bound [M. Held, R.M.
