On linear maps preserving generalized invertibility and related properties

Let H be an infinite-dimensional complex Hilbert space, B(H) be the algebra of all bounded linear operators on H. We study surjective linear maps on B(H) preserving generalized invertibility. We also investigate surjective linear maps preserving Fredholm (respectively, semi-Fredholm) operators. Our results improve those of Mbekhta, Rodman and Šemrl.     

General preservers of invariant subspace lattices

Let be the space of all bounded linear operators on a Banach space X and let LatA be the lattice of invariant subspaces of the operator . We characterize some maps with one of the following preserving properties: Lat(Φ(A)+Φ(B))=Lat(A+B), or Lat(Φ(A)Φ(B))=Lat(AB), or Lat(Φ(A)Φ(B)+Φ(B)Φ(A))=Lat(AB+BA), or Lat(Φ(A)Φ(B)Φ(A))=Lat(ABA), or Lat([Φ(A),Φ(B)])=Lat([A,B]).

We characterise bijections on the space of hermitian matrices preserving the invertibility of differences of matrix pairs in both directions.     

Bijective maps on standard Borel subgroup of symplectic group preserving commutators

Let F be a field, and let \mathbbG\mathbb{G} be the standard Borel subgroup of the symplectic group Sp(2m, F). In this paper, we characterize the bijective maps ϕ: \mathbbG\mathbb{G} → \mathbbG\mathbb{G} satisfying ϕ[x, y] = [ϕ(x), ϕ(y)].
