In this letter, a new auxiliary function method is presented for constructing exact travelling wave solutions of nonlinear partial differential equations. The main idea of this method is to take full advantage of the solutions of the elliptic equation to construct exact travelling wave solutions of nonlinear partial differential equations. We study a new model named the Green-Lindsay type therm-elastic model for nonhomogeneous media that consists of a system of dynamic thermoelasticity equations of displacement and dynamic heat conduction equation. We construct the model based on the classical GL-model for homogeneous material. This system is coupled dynamic problem and the displacement field and heat field must be solved at the same time. This work is concerned with the two-dimensional boundary layer flow of an upper-convected Maxwell (UCM) fluid in a channel
with chemical reaction. The walls of the channel are porous. Employing similarity transformations the governing non-linear

equations are solved analytically using homotopy analysis method (HAM). Expressions for series solutions are derived. The

The Kantorovich theorem is a fundamental tool in nonlinear analysis for proving the existence and uniqueness of solutions of nonlinear equations arising in various fields. This theorem was weakened recently by Argyros who used a combination of Lipschitz and center-Lipschitz conditions in place of the Lipschitz conditions of the Kantorovich theorem. In the present paper we prove a weak Kantorovich-type theorem that gives the same conclusions as the previous two results under weaker conditions. Some comparison theorems are also established. The semiclassical limit in the transient quantum drift-diffusion equations with isentropic pressure in one space dimension is rigorously proved. The equations are supplemented with homogeneous Neumann boundary conditions. It is shown that the semiclassical limit of this solution solves the classical drift-diffusion model. The liquid–liquid phase‐separation (LLPS) behavior of poly(n‐methyl methacrylimide)/poly(vinylidene fluoride) (PMMI/PVDF) blend was studied by using small‐angle laser light scattering (SALLS) and phase contrast microscopy (PCM). The cloud point (Tc) of PMMI/PVDF blend was obtained using SALLS at the heating rate of 1 °C min?1 and it was found that PMMI/PVDF exhibited a low critical solution temperature (LCST) behavior similar to that of PMMA/PVDF. Moreover, Tc of PMMI/PVDF is higher than its melting temperature (Tm) and a large temperature gap between Tc and Tm exists. At the early phase‐separation stage, the apparent diffusion coefficient (Dapp) and the product (2Mk) of the molecules mobility coefficient (M) and the energy gradient coefficient (k) arising from contributions of composition gradient to the energy for PMMI/PVDF (50/50 wt) blend were calculated on the basis of linearized Cahn‐Hilliard‐Cook theory.
