In this paper, for a kind of risk models with heavy-tailed and delayed claims, we derive the asymptotics of the infinite-time ruin probability and the uniform asymptotics of the finite-time ruin probability. The numerical simulation results are also presented. The results of theoretical analysis and numerical simulation show that the influence of the delay for the claim payment is nearly negligible to the ruin probability when the initial capital and running-time are all large.  相似文献

In his famous works of 1930 [1,2] Sergey L. Sobolev has proposed a construction of the solution of the Cauchy problem for the hyperbolic equation of the second order with variable coefficients in Rş. Although Sobolev did not construct the fundamental solution, his construction was modified later by Romanov (2002) and Smirnov (1964) to obtain the fundamental solution. However, these works impose a restrictive assumption of the regularity of geodesic lines in a large domain. In addition, it is unclear how to realize those methods numerically. In this paper a simple construction of a function, which is associated in a clear way with the fundamental solution of the acoustic equation with the variable speed in 3-d, is proposed. Conditions on geodesic lines are not imposed. An important feature of this construction is that it lends itself to effective computations.  相似文献

We develop a methodology for the estimation of extreme loss event probability and the value at risk, which takes into account both the magnitudes and the intensity of the extreme losses. Specifically, the extreme loss magnitudes are modeled with a generalized Pareto distribution, whereas their intensity is captured by an autoregressive conditional duration model, a type of self‐exciting point process. This allows for an explicit interaction between the magnitude of the past losses and the intensity of future extreme losses. The intensity is further used in the estimation of extreme loss event probability. The method is illustrated and backtested on 10 assets and compared with the established and baseline methods. The results show that our method outperforms the baseline methods, competes with an established method, and provides additional insight and interpretation into the prediction of extreme loss event probability. This paper was given as the opening address at the 1970 Albany International Conference on Radiation Effects in Semiconductors, and it attempts to establish a general overview of the field by concentrating on recent research developments and important unanswered questions. The continuing importance of impurity-defect interactions, of microscopic defect identification, and of the necessity for more theoretical calculations are emphasized. The rapid development of the field of ion implantation and its close relationship with radiation effects studies are pointed out. It is predicted that research in compound semiconductors will increase rapidly with close beneficial interaction with ion implantation studies.  相似文献

This paper addresses the bipartite flock control problem where a multi-agent system splits into two clusters upon internal or external excitations. Using structurally balanced signed graph theory, LaSalle’s invariance principle and Barbalat’s Lemma, we prove that the proposed algorithm guarantees a bipartite flocking behavior. In each of the two disjoint clusters, all individuals move with the same direction. Meanwhile, every pair of agents in different clusters moves with opposite directions. Moreover, all agents in the two separated clusters approach a common velocity magnitude, and collision avoidance among all agents is ensured as well. Finally, the proposed bipartite flock control method is examined by numerical simulations. The bipartite flocking motion addressed by this paper has its references in both natural collective motions and human group behaviors such as predator–prey and panic escaping scenarios.  相似文献

The present paper proposes an evolutionary credibility model that describes the joint dynamics of mortality through time in several populations. Instead of modeling the mortality rate levels, the time series of population-specific mortality rate changes, or mortality improvement rates are considered and expressed in terms of correlated time factors, up to an error term. Dynamic random effects ensure the necessary smoothing across time, as well as the learning effect. They also serve to stabilize successive mortality projection outputs, avoiding dramatic changes from one year to the next. Statistical inference is based on maximum likelihood, properly recognizing the random, hidden nature of underlying time factors. Empirical illustrations demonstrate the practical interest of the approach proposed in the present paper.  相似文献

A methodology to perform a ghost-cell-based immersed boundary method (GCIBM) is presented for simulating compressible turbulent flows around complex geometries. In this method, the boundary condition on the immersed boundary is enforced through the use of ‘ghost cells’ that are located inside the solid body. The computations of variables on these ghost cells are achieved using linear interpolation schemes. The validity and applicability of the proposed method is verified using a three-dimensional (3D) flow over a circular cylinder, and a large-eddy simulation of fully developed 3D turbulent flow in a channel with a wavy surface. The results agree well with the previous numerical and experimental results, given that the grid resolution is reasonably fine. To demonstrate the capability of the method for higher Mach numbers, supersonic turbulent flow over a circular cylinder is presented. While more work still needs to be done to demonstrate higher robustness and accuracy, the present work provides interesting insights using the GCIBM for the compressible flows.  相似文献

A rapid and sensitive liquid chromatography tandem mass spectrometry quantitative analysis method was established for the pharmacokinetics and tissue distribution study of physalin B in rat. Physalin B and physalin H (internal standard, IS) were separated on an Agilent Eclips XDB C8 column. MS detection was performed on a triple quadrupole tandem mass spectrometer in the multiple reaction monitoring mode with a positive eletrospray ionization source. The assay was validated in the concentration ranges of 22.6–22600 ng/mL for heart and lung and 4.52–4520 ng/mL for other tissues. The intra‐ and inter‐day precisions (RSD) were ≤9.23 and ≤12.51%, respectively, with accuracy (%) in the range of 88.07–113.2%. A pharmacokinetic study showed that physalin B has a long dwell time with a half‐life of 321.2 ± 29.5 min and clearance of 175.4 ± 25.7 mL/min/kg after intravenous administration. Additionally, physalin B showed a wide tissue distribution with a special higher penetration in lung.
