The number of powers of 2 in a representation of large even integers II

It is proved that for any integerk≥ 54 000, there isN _k >0 depending onk only such that every even integer ≥N _k is a sum of two odd prime numbers andk powers of 2. Thermal gradient induced sidebranching in directional solidification

The polycrystalline perovskitelike manganese oxides La_1-xA_xMnO (A = Na, and K, ) have been fabricated by sol-gel technique. For all the compositions explored in this work, the average manganese oxidation state is practically constant, at for A = Na, and for A = K, respectively. A close relationship is confirmed to hold between the Curie temperature (T_c) and the bond distance of Mn-O. Results of magnetic measurements show that these materials can be utilized as suitable candidates for magnetic refrigerants with wide applied temperature span, for their significant entropy change and the easily tuned Curie temperature. The orbit space of the p-subgroup complex is contractible

We show that the quotient space of the p-subgroup complex of a finite group by the action of the group is contractible. This was conjectured by Webb. Received: June 28, 1996

First excitations of the spin 1/2 Heisenberg antiferromagnet on the kagomé lattice

We study the exact low energy spectra of the spin 1/2 Heisenberg antiferromagnet on small samples of the kagomé lattice of up to N=36 sites. In agreement with the conclusions of previous authors, we find that these low energy spectra contradict the hypothesis of Néel type long range order. Certainly, the ground state of this system is a spin liquid, but its properties are rather unusual. The magnetic () excitations are separated from the ground state by a gap. However, this gap is filled with nonmagnetic () excitations. In the thermodynamic limit the spectrum of these nonmagnetic excitations will presumably develop into a gapless continuum adjacent to the ground state. Surprisingly, the eigenstates of samples with an odd number of sites, i.e. samples with an unsaturated spin, exhibit symmetries which could support long range chiral order. We do not know if these states will be true thermodynamic states or only metastable ones. In any case, the low energy properties of the spin 1/2 Heisenberg antiferromagnet on the kagomé lattice clearly distinguish this system from either a short range RVB spin liquid or a standard chiral spin liquid. 相匹配契伦可夫辐射式倍频

用波导产生倍频波时,如果倍频波进入辐射模区,仍然有相匹配问题。契伦可夫辐射式倍频不是自动地实现相匹配的。相匹配要求导波基波模式场,倍频传输场(自由波),倍频触发场,以及经多次反射透射后的辐射场的迭加形成的总辐射场处于同步的相匹配状态。根据这个相匹配的分析,提出波导契伦可夫相匹配的特有的方法,那就是对波导的模色散进行设计,并指出非对称波导的特有优点,是改变一个边界上的反射相变,即选择不同色散的线性材料作包层,由此可得到相匹配的高效契伦可夫倍频辐射。     

氢化丁苯共聚物结构的核磁共振波谱表征Ⅱ.微观结构的定量计算

在氢化丁苯共聚物¹³C-NMR谱脂肪碳部分谱带归属的基础上,根据各谱带的主要来源,推导出六个二单元浓度的计算公式。计算出二单元、一单元的相对含量,各结构单元的数均序列长度、嵌段含量和其它结构参数。加氢前后的¹H-和¹³C-NMR谱的组成计算结果基本一致。初步探讨了作为粘度指数改进剂的氢化丁苯共聚物微观结构与性能的关系,为合成提供了依据。     

自由电子激光的预群聚

研究了自由电子激光预群聚产生的辐射,表明预群聚不仅可以提高效率而且使低增益得到增强,从而在理论上解释了由射频直线加速器驱动的自由电子激光预群聚器(prebuncher)的作用。同时还指出,预群聚有在不增加电子束能量情况下缩短激光波长和降低对电子束质量要求等作用。     

Experimental investigation and numerical simulation of the influence of resonator-length detuning on the output power,pulse duration and spectral width of a cw mode-locked picosecond optical parametric oscillator

We report on a cw mode-locked non-critically phase matched KTP optical parametric oscillator synchronously pumped by a picosecond Ti:Sapphire laser. High average signal output power of up to 950 mW over a large tuning range has been achieved. For this OPO the influence of resonator-length detuning on the output power, pulse duration and spectral bandwidth has been investigated. The measured data are in good agreement with the results of a numerical simulation using a split-step Fourier method which considers the group-velocity mismatch, the group-velocity dispersion and the self-phase modulation. The numerical simulation also describes the measured strong pump depletion and its influence on the OPO output and efficiency.     

超临界流体色谱流程设计及其应用

本文设计了多功能超临界流体色谱流程,流程中包括毛细管/微填充柱SFC,GC,计算机控制温度、压力、密度及信号采集、处理,配置有超临界流体萃取池,解决了超临界流体色谱分流口易堵问题。利用该流程,将石腊、DC-200气相色谱固定相、黄油、蜂蜡、救心油、红花油等样品进行超临界流体色谱分离。
