单纯Quantale及其Quantale商

讨论Quantale上的同余与Quantale商之间的关系,研究单纯Quantale的性质,给出一类Quantale是单纯Quantale的等价刻画。最后从Quantale商的角度对单纯Quantale进行了研究,得到单纯Quantale的若干特征定理。     

Corrigendum to “Genus fields of abelian extensions of rational congruence function fields” [Finite Fields Appl. 20 (2013) 40–54]

There is an error in the proof of Theorem 4.2 of the paper. Here we correct the error and give the right statements for Theorems 4.2, 4.5 and 5.2.     

Congruences for the number of spin characters of the double covers of the symmetric and alternating groups

Let p be an odd prime. The bar partitions with sign and p-bar-core partitions with sign respectively label the spin characters and p-defect zero spin characters of the double cover of the symmetric group, and by restriction, those of the alternating group. The generating functions for these objects have been determined by J. Olsson. We study these functions from an arithmetic perspective, using classical analytic tools and elementary generating function manipulation to obtain many Ramanujan-like congruences.     

Equality of proofs for linear equality

This paper is about equality of proofs in which a binary predicate formalizing properties of equality occurs, besides conjunction and the constant true proposition. The properties of equality in question are those of a preordering relation, those of an equivalence relation, and other properties appropriate for an equality relation in linear logic. The guiding idea is that equality of proofs is induced by coherence, understood as the existence of a faithful functor from a syntactical category into a category whose arrows correspond to diagrams. Edges in these diagrams join occurrences of variables that must remain the same in every generalization of the proof. It is found that assumptions about equality of proofs for equality are parallel to standard assumptions about equality of arrows in categories. They reproduce standard categorial assumptions on a different level. It is also found that assumptions for a preordering relation involve an adjoint situation.

Ideals and sets of ideals of different types on QMV-algebras and the corresponding effect algebras are studied and compared.

一个基于模糊偏好的选择函数

研究了一个基于模糊偏好关系的模糊选择函数。首先对文献中基于普通关系的最好元集所确定的选择函数进行了回顾,并给出了进一步结果。然后,讨论了该选择函数的模糊化形式,给出了基于模糊偏好的选择集确定模糊选择函数的充要条件,同时研究了该选择函数的合理性性质。     

Spectral variation under congruence

In this paper we study the possible spectra among matrices congruent to a given A?M_n (C). It is important to distinguish singular A from nonsingular and, among non-singular matrices, to distinguish where 0 lies relative to the field of values of A.     

On determining the congruence of point sets in d dimensions

This paper considers the following problem: given two point sets A and B (|A| = |B| = n) in d dimensional Euclidean space, determine whether or not A is congruent to B. This paper presents an O(n^(d−1)/2 log n) time randomized algorithm. The birthday paradox, which is well-known in combinatorics, is used effectively in this algorithm. Although this algorithm is Monte-Carlo type (i.e., it may give a wrong result), this improves a previous O(n^d−2 log n) time deterministic algorithm considerably. This paper also shows that if d is not bounded, the problem is at least as hard as the graph isomorphism problem in the sense of the polynomiality. Several related results are described too.
