Abundant semigroups with a multiplicative quasi-adequate transversal

The concept of quasi-adequate transversals is introduced. Some properties and characterizations for abundant semigroups with a multiplicative quasi-adequate transversal are obtained. In particular, a structure theorem for such abundant semigroups is given. Finally, some special cases are considered. Nash type inequalities for fractional powers of non-negative self-adjoint operators

Assuming that a Nash type inequality is satisfied by a non-negative self-adjoint operator , we prove a Nash type inequality for the fractional powers of . Under some assumptions, we give ultracontractivity bounds for the semigroup generated by .

     

‐Theory for Schrödinger systems

In this article, we study for the ‐realization of the vector‐valued Schrödinger operator . Using a noncommutative version of the Dore–Venni theorem due to Monniaux and Prüss, we prove that the ‐realization of , defined on the intersection of the natural domains of the differential and multiplication operators which form , generates a strongly continuous contraction semigroup on . We also study additional properties of the semigroup such as extension to L¹, positivity, ultracontractivity and prove that the generator has compact resolvent.     

Pure elements and intertwining classes of simple strata in local central simple algebras

Let S be a semigroup of words over an alphabet ∑ . Suppose tliar every two words u and e over ∑ are equal in S if (1) the sets of subwords of length k of the words a and b coincide and are non-empty. (2) the prefix (suffix) of u of length k1 is equal to the prefix (suffix) of e. Then S is called k-testable. A semigroup is locally testable if it is k-testable for some k > 0.

We present a finite basis of identities of the variety of A'-testable semigroups. The structure of k-testable semigroup is studied. Necessarv and sufficient conditions for local testability will be given. A solution to one problem from the survey of Shevrin and Sukhanov (1985) will be presented.     

A note on analyticity to piezoelectric systems

In this paper, we consider a piezoelectric dissipative system in which a dissipation term is given through the mechanical part of the stress tensor. The abstract Cauchy problem associated to this system generates a semigroup of linear operators. We establish the analyticity of this semigroup that, in turn, implies the exponential decay of the corresponding energy and the strong regularity of the solutions. Estimates of densities for Lévy processes with lower intensity of large jumps

We obtain general lower estimates of transition densities of jump Lévy processes. We use them for processes with Lévy measures having bounded support, processes with exponentially decaying Lévy measures for large times and for processes with high intensity of small jumps for small times.     

Strong convergence theorems for nonexpansive mappings and nonexpansive semigroups

In this paper, we show strong convergence theorems for nonexpansive mappings and nonexpansive semigroups in Hilbert spaces by the hybrid method in the mathematical programming.     

Weak Uniform Normal Structure and Fixed Points of Asymptotically Regular Semigroups

Let X be a Banach space with a weak uniform normal structure and C a non–empty convexweakly compact subset of X. Under some suitable restriction, we prove that every asymptoticallyregular semigroup T = {T(t) : t ∈¸ S} of selfmappings on C satisfying

has a common fixed point, where WCS(X) is the weakly convergent sequence coefficient of X, and\({\left| {{\left\| {T(t)} \right\|}} \right|}\) is the exact Lipschitz constant of T(t).
