Using ring closing metathesis (RCM) as the key operation, a rapid access to β-lactams fused to a sultam moiety of variable ring size was developed from low cost, commercially available starting materials. An efficient RCM of 4-vinyl-azetidin-2-ones to give 1-aza-bicyclo[4.2.0]oct-4-en-8-ones is also reported.  相似文献

The reaction of different epoxides with commercially available imidazole at 60 °C leads to the formation of the corresponding 1-(β-hydroxyalkyl)imidazoles in a regioselective manner. When the reaction is applied to a chiral epoxide [(R)-styrene oxide], the expected chiral alcohol is isolated with the same enantiomeric excess. The use of benzimidazole as the heterocyclic component in the same process also allows the simple preparation of the corresponding 1-(β-hydroxyalkyl)benzimidazoles.  相似文献

Meldrum's acid (2) is acylated by diketen affording the acylMeldrum's acid3. In aqueous bicarbonate its 3-oxogroup is selectively reduced by sodium tetrahydroborate giving the alcohol4, which readily undergoes cyclization in refluxing dioxane leading to the title pyrone7. Under identical conditions3 produces the pyrone6 with the pyrone carboxylic acid5 as intermediate.

A palladium-catalysed four-component process is described involving carbon monoxide, allene and aryl/heteroaryl iodides generating (π-allyl) palladium species, which are intercepted by alkene tethered nitrogen nucleophiles to afford 1,6- and 1,7-dienones. Subsequent ring closing metathesis affords five- and six-membered N-heterocyclic enones. The N-heterocyclic enones are active dipolarophiles in 1,3-dipolar cycloaddition reactions as exemplified by azomethine ylide and nitrone cycloadditions.  相似文献

By contrast to traditional free radical emulsion polymerization, catalytic polymerization allows for polymer microstructure control. In terms of polymerizable monomers, both techniques are largely complementary. Since the beginning of this decade, an increasing number of reports on polyolefin, polybutadiene, polyalkenamer, polynorbornene, polyketone, and polyacetylene dispersions prepared by catalytic polymerization in disperse aqueous systems has appeared. An innovative route for the synthesis of substituted dibenzofurans has been delineated through a ring transformation reaction of suitably functionalized 2H-pyran-2-ones by reaction with 7-methoxybenzofuran-3-one, in high yield. The novelty of the procedure lies in the creation of an aromatic ring from a 2H-pyran-2-one involving the -COCH2-moiety of the substrate.  相似文献

Summary 4-Chloro-3-aryl-coumarins and quinolones2 a–e undergo thermolytic ring closure by reaction with sodium azide in refluxing dimethyl formamide to yield indolo[3,2-c]coumarins and indolo[3,2-c]quinolin-6(5H)-ones6 a–e. In the case of the coumarin2 a the azido coumarin5 can be isolated. The mono- and diazacoumestrol-dimethylethers6 a–c are converted into the coumestrol analogues7 a–c and their diacetyl derivatives8 a–c.

Nur aus dem Cumarinderivat2 a kann das zwischenzeitlich gebildete Azidocumarin5 isoliert werden. Die so erhaltenen Mono- und Diazacumöstroldimethylether6 a–c werden in die entsprechenden Cumöstrole7 a–c und ihre Diacetylderivate8 a–c umgewandelt.

cis-1,2,3,4,5,5-Hexafluorobicyclo[2.1.0]pentane and 1,2,4,5-tetrafluorobicyclo[2.1.0]pentane have been synthesized from hexafluorobenzene. The former hydrofluorocarbon, which exists entirely in the endo configuration, rearranges to cis-1,2,3,3,4,5-hexafluorocyclopentene below room temperature (Ea = 21.9 kcal/mol, log A = 13.4). The latter undergoes degenerate ring inversion with extraordinary ease (ΔG = 6.8 ± 0.2 kcal/mol at −55 °C). Density functional calculations indicate that significant bonding between the bridgehead carbons is retained in the ring inversion transition state. Analogous calculations predict for hexafluorobicyclo[1.1.0]butane a considerably lower barrier for ring inversion and more 1,3-bonding in the transition state.  相似文献

Metalation of (HSiMe2)3CH with lithium diisopropylamide (LDA) in THF gives (HSiMe2)3CLi, which reacts with ethylene oxide, propylene oxide, 1,2-epoxy butane, 1,2-epoxy pentane, 1,2-epoxy hexane, and epichlorohydrin to give the corresponding 1-oxa-2-silacyclopentane derivatives. Then, glycidylmethacrylate (GM) random copolymers with styrene (St) (in a 1:1 and 1:3 mol ratio) were synthesized by solution free radical polymerization at 70(±1) °C using α,α′-azobis(isobutyronitrile) (AIBN) as an initiator. Both types of copolymers were treated with (HSiMe2)3CLi to give new modified copolymers. The reaction of (HSiMe2)3CLi with epoxides on the side chains of the copolymers does not lead to intramolecular nucleophilic attack contrary to simple epoxides. All the products have been characterized by spectroscopic techniques.  相似文献

1-Arylmethyl-2-(cyanomethyl)aziridines were transformed into novel N-arylmethyl-N-(2-chloro-3-cyanopropyl)amides as the major reaction products upon treatment with acid chlorides in CH2Cl2 through the ring opening of intermediate aziridinium salts. Subsequently, N-arylmethyl-N-(2-chloro-3-cyanopropyl)amides were converted into stable N-arylmethyl-N-(3-cyano-2-propenyl)amides for the first time by means of a dehydrochlorination mediated by Et3N in CH2Cl2.  相似文献
