Check Character Systems Using Chevalley Groups

We show that the Sylow 2-subgroups of nearly all Chevalley groups in even characteristic allow the definition of a check-character-system which detects all single and the most important double errors.     

Homology of Bi-Grassmannian Complexes

Homology of bi-Grassmannian complex with rational coefficients is calculated. Some applications to the homological stabilization of linear groups are given.     

Geodesic Curves on Quantized Manifolds

A general definition of curves and geodesics associated with a given connection on a quantized manifold is given. In the particular case of functional quantization, we define geodesics in the same way as in the classical case and we will show that the two definitions are compatible. As an example, we examine our results for the quantum Manin plane.     

GMPLS网络中约束最短路径优先算法研究

针对GMPLS网络中求解最短路径问题，提出了一种具有共享风险链路约束的启发式约束最短路径优先路由算法，对该算法的有效性和可靠性进行了比较全面的仿真测试，仿真结果显示此算法提高了网络资源的利用率，减少了网络的阻塞，同时降低了链路失效时的风险，提高了网络的强壮性和可靠性．     

A Note on Local Rigidity

The aim of this note is to give a geometric proof for classical local rigidity of lattices in semisimple Lie groups. We are reproving well known results in a more geometric (and hopefully clearer) way.     

素特征域上广义Witt李超代数的自同构群

设W是素特征域上无限维或有限维广义Witt李超代数.本文利用W的自然滤过不变性和W的底代数的不变维数性质,证明了W的自同构群AutW同构于W的底代数的容许自同构群,还证明了在此群同构之下,AutW的标准正规列恰好对应W的底代数的容许自同构群的标准正规列,并给出AutW若干较为细致的性质.     

Branching laws for minimal holomorphic representations

In this paper we study the branching law for the restriction from SU(n,m) to SO(n,m) of the minimal representation in the analytic continuation of the scalar holomorphic discrete series. We identify the group decomposition with the spectral decomposition of the action of the Casimir operator on the subspace of S(O(n)×O(m))-invariants. The Plancherel measure of the decomposition defines an L²-space of functions, for which certain continuous dual Hahn polynomials furnish an orthonormal basis. It turns out that the measure has point masses precisely when n−m>2. Under these conditions we construct an irreducible representation of SO(n,m), identify it with a parabolically induced representation, and construct a unitary embedding into the representation space for the minimal representation of SU(n,m).     

Homogeneous geodesics in solvable Lie groups

After the second author and J. Szenthe [10] proved that every homogeneous Riemannian manifold admits a homogeneous geodesic, several authors studied the set of all homogeneous geodesics in various homogeneous spaces. In this paper, we consider special examples of homogeneous spaces of solvable type of arbitrary odd dimension given in [1] and [7] and we show that their sets of homogeneous geodesics have an interesting structure, closely connected to the notion of Hadamard matrices.     

On the Residual Finiteness of Outer Automorphisms of Hyperbolic Groups

We show that every virtually torsion-free subgroup of the outer automorphism group of a conjugacy separable hyperbolic group is residually finite. As a result, we are able to prove that the group of outer automorphisms of every finitely generated Fuchsian group and of every free-by-finite group is residually finite.
