On Time-space Fractional Reaction-diffusion Equations with Nonlocal Initial Conditions

This paper investigates the nonlinear time-space fractional reaction-diffusion equations with nonlocal initial conditions. Based on the operator semigroup theory, we transform the time-space fractional reaction-diffusion equation into an abstract evolution equation. The existence and uniqueness of mild solution to the reaction-diffusion equation are obtained by solving the abstract evolution equation. Finally, we verify the Mittag-Leffler-Ulam stabilities of the nonlinear time-space fractional reaction-diffusion equations with nonlocal initial conditions. The results in this paper improve and extend some related conclusions to this topic.     

Existence Results for Super-Liouville Equations on the Sphere via Bifurcation Theory

We are concerned with super-Liouville equations on $\mathbb{S}^2$, which have variational structure with a strongly-indefinite functional. We prove the existence of nontrivial solutions by combining the use of Nehari manifolds, balancing conditions and bifurcation theory.     

On a phase field model of Cahn–Hilliard type for tumour growth with mechanical effects

Mechanical effects have mostly been neglected so far in phase field tumour models that are based on a Cahn–Hilliard approach. In this paper we study a macroscopic mechanical model for tumour growth in which cell–cell adhesion effects are taken into account with the help of a Ginzburg–Landau type energy. In the overall model an equation of Cahn–Hilliard type is coupled to the system of linear elasticity and a reaction–diffusion equation for a nutrient concentration. The highly non-linear coupling between a fourth-order Cahn–Hilliard equation and the quasi-static elasticity system lead to new challenges which cannot be dealt within a gradient flow setting which was the method of choice for other elastic Cahn–Hilliard systems. We show existence, uniqueness and regularity results. In addition, several continuous dependence results with respect to different topologies are shown. Some of these results give uniqueness for weak solutions and other results will be helpful for optimal control problems.     

Existence of a solitary planar bubble in symmetric channels

Two-dimensional steady ideal fluids with gravity in finite height symmetric channels are considered. This model is well-known, but the existence results seem rare in the literature. For suitable incoming vertical velocity and the divergent nozzles, there exists a solitary bubble starting at the symmetric axis and extending downwards without limit. Finally, the inclination angle at the vertex of this bubble is investigated.     

Non-degeneracy and uniqueness of solutions to singular mean field equations on bounded domains

The aim of this paper is to complete the program initiated in [51], [23] and then carried out by several authors concerning non-degeneracy and uniqueness of solutions to mean field equations. In particular, we consider mean field equations with general singular data on non-smooth domains. The argument is based on the Alexandrov–Bol inequality and on the eigenvalues analysis of linearized singular Liouville-type problems.
