In this paper we deal with the problem of existence of a smooth solution of the Hamilton–Jacobi–Bellman–Isaacs (HJBI for short) system of equations associated with nonzero-sum stochastic differential games. We consider the problem in unbounded domains either in the case of continuous generators or for discontinuous ones. In each case we show the existence of a smooth solution of the system. As a consequence, we show that the game has smooth Nash payoffs which are given by means of the solution of the HJBI system and the stochastic process which governs the dynamic of the controlled system. 相似文献

In this study, we propose a 3D generalized micro heat transfer model in an N-carrier system with the Neumann boundary condition in spherical coordinates, which can be applied to describe the non-equilibrium heating in biological cells. Two improved unconditionally stable Crank-Nicholson schemes are then presented for solving the generalized model. In particular, we delicately adjust the location of the interior grid point that is next to the boundary so that the Neumann boundary condition can be applied directly without discretization. As such, a second-order accurate finite difference scheme without using any fictitious grid points is obtained. The convergence rates of the numerical solution are tested by an example. Results show that the convergence rates of the present schemes are about 2.0 with respect to the spatial variable r, which improves the accuracy of the Crank-Nicholson scheme coupled with the conventional first-order approximation for the Neumann boundary condition. 相似文献

In this paper, we analyze a compact finite difference scheme for computing a coupled nonlinear SchrSdinger equation. The proposed scheme not only conserves the totM mass and energy in the discrete level but also is decoupled and linearized in practical computa- tion. Due to the difficulty caused by compact difference on the nonlinear term, it is very hard to obtain the optimal error estimate without any restriction on the grid ratio. In order to overcome the difficulty, we transform the compact difference scheme into a special and equivalent vector form, then use the energy method and some important lemmas to obtain the optimal convergent rate, without any restriction on the grid ratio, at the order of O(h4 +r2) in the discrete L∞ -norm with time step - and mesh size h. Various compact difference schemes (both old and new, explicit and implicit, one-level and two-level), which approximate the diffusion equation and SchrSdinger equation with periodical boundary conditions are constructed by means of the general approach. The results of numerical experiments for various initial data and right hand side are presented. We evaluate the real order of their convergence, as well as their stability, effectiveness, and various kinds of monotony. The optimal Courant number depends on the number of grid knots and on the smoothness of solutions. The competition of various schemes should be organized for the fixed number of arithmetic operations, which are necessary for numerical integration of a given Cauchy problem.
