A finite volume method for the time dependent viscous incompressible flow around an in-line oscillating circular cylinder at Reynolds number of 200, 855 is presented in this paper. The Navier-Stokes equations in a finite volume form are solved with a moving grid system, based on a time dependent coordinate transformation. To investigate the vortex-shedding characteristics behind the circular cylinder and the effects of Reynolds number and other non-dimensional parameters such as reduced amplitude and reduced frequency, several numerical schemes have been tested with different amplitude and frequency close to Sto and a harmonic at each Reynolds number. Present numerical results indicate several types of vortex shedding mode which is known mainly depending on the reduced frequency and also the reduced amplitude, which is called synchronization or lock-on.  相似文献

在石油、化工、食品和城市供水等行业,由于腐蚀等原因而引起泄漏事故,造成巨大的经济损失和资源浪费.因此,能够预先检测到管道缺陷避免事故发生显得十分重要.基于弹性动力学理论,利用Matlab编程实现周向导波在空心圆柱体中传播的数值模拟.利用特征函数展开法计算出周向导波的频散曲线及0.6MHz和1MHz各个模态的时域波形图并据此分析激励方式同周向导波传播的关系,频率为1MHz或0.6MHz时,1和2模态在空心圆柱壳中传播的周向导波中处于主导地位:各模态的径向或周向位移幅度会受到激励入射角的影响而变化并且周向导波的位移幅度随着激励入射角的增加而增加:得到特定频率下,周向导波各模态径向、周向位移的变化关系.本文结果为进一步利用实验方法研究周向导波在空心圆柱体中传播特性和缺陷检测奠定了基础.  相似文献

This study summarises some new characteristics of the fluid flow over a confined circular cylinder at low Reynolds numbers. Results from both two- and three-dimensional direct numerical simulations are presented at blockage ratio between 0.1 and 0.9 and Reynolds number between 120 and 500. Floquet stability analysis of selected cases will also be presented. From the two-dimensional simulations, it is found that the fluctuating lift forces decreases with blockage ratio and becomes zero (where the flow is steady) at blockage ratio of approximately 0.7–0.8. Upon further increasing the blockage ratio to 0.9, the simulations show a dramatic increase in the fluctuating lift forces, nearly an order of magnitude greater than previously reported for an unconfined cylinder flow. It is also found that for blockage ratio of 0.5, there is a long term two-dimensional instability that becomes more prominent with increasing Reynolds number. This instability has a time scale of approximately 105 time units (D/Umax) at Reynolds number of 500. In addition, the transition between two- and three-dimensional flow at blockage ratios up to 0.5 is investigated. It is shown that the transition Reynolds number decreases with increasing blockage ratio. At high blockage ratio of 0.5, as we increase the Reynolds number, the transition to three-dimensional flow is shown to go from unsteady two-dimensional to steady three-dimensional before transitioning to unsteady three-dimensional flow.  相似文献

This paper presents accurate elastic solutions for the rotating variable-thickness and/or uniform-thickness orthotropic circular cylinders. The present circular cylinder may contain a uniform-thickness solid core of rigid or homogeneously isotropic material. Different cases of rotating cylinders of various cores are investigated. These cylinders include completely isotropic solid cylinder, uniform-thickness orthotropic cylinder containing an isotropic core, variable-thickness orthotropic cylinder containing an isotropic core, uniform-thickness orthotropic cylinder containing a rigid core, and variable-thickness orthotropic cylinder containing a rigid core. For all cases studied, exact elastic solutions are obtained and numerical results are presented. The results include the radial, hoop, and axial stresses and radial displacement of the five cylinder configurations. The distributions of displacement and stresses through the radial direction of the rotating cylinder are obtained and comparisons between different cases are made at the same angular velocity.  相似文献

This Note deals with the linearized water-wave problem involving a surface-piercing cylinder in water of infinite depth. A solution to this problem is proved to be unique for all values of the radian frequency when the cylinder intersecting the free surface at arbitrary angles is subjected to certain geometric arrangements. 绕流是托卡马克装置中液态包层内常见的流动形态,对流场与热量分布有着重要的影响.本文通过直接数值模拟(DNS),研究了不同磁场强度下$Re=3900$的圆柱绕流,分析了磁场强度对于湍流尾迹的影响.无磁场情况下,直接数值模拟的结果与前人的实验及模拟结果吻合很好.圆柱下游的尾迹中,随着流向距离的增大, 流向速度剖面逐渐从U型进化呈V型, 并慢慢趋于平缓,这表明尾迹中的流动结构受圆柱影响逐渐减小.圆柱后方两侧的剪切层中,由于Kelvin-Helmholtz不稳定性的影响,可以清晰地看到小尺度剪切层涡的脱落.通过对无磁场的计算结果施加流向磁场,本文计算了哈特曼数($Ha$)分别为20, 40和80的工况,以研究磁场效应对于湍流的影响.结果表明磁场较弱时,流动依然呈三维湍流状态.随着磁场增强, 近圆柱尾流区受磁场抑制明显,回流区被拉长,剪切层失稳位置向下游转移.圆柱后方的涡结构由于受到竖直方向洛伦兹力的挤压作用,随着哈特曼数的增加尾迹区域逐渐变窄.相比于无磁场情况的涡结构,由于磁场的耗散作用,相应的涡结构尺度变小.该研究不仅扩展了现有磁场下湍流运动的参数范围,对于液态包层的设计及安全运行同样具有重要的理论指导意义和工程应用价值.  相似文献

通过求解采用ALE方法描述的运动坐标系Navier-Stokes方程组,分析均匀来流下雷诺 数为150的静止和流向振荡的圆柱绕流. 主要研究了强迫振荡频率和较大振幅比 (A/D=0.3-1.2)对圆柱升力、阻力变化特性以及涡脱落模态的影响. 研究表 明,流向振荡圆柱绕流存在多种涡脱落模态,如对称S以及反对称A-I, A-III, A-IV等多种形式;比较研究结果,拓展了各模态下对应的锁定区域,并将其分为5个 子区;A-I模态中圆柱受力较以前所知更复杂;通过分析计算结果,发现最大加速度 比Af_{c}^{2}/Df_{s0}^{2}可能是涡脱落模态(尤其是对称S模态)最有效的控制参数.  相似文献

A thermoviscoelastic analysis of a three-phase composite cylinder is presented in this work. The solutions of the heat conduction and thermoelastic problem for three dissimilar media are derived based on the method of analytic continuation associated with the alternation technique. A rapidly convergent series solution for both the temperature and stress field, which is expressed in terms of an explicit general term of the corresponding homogeneous potential, is obtained in an elegant form. The hereditary integral in conjunction with the Kelvin–Maxwell model is applied to simulate the thermoviscoelastic properties while a thermorheologically simple material is considered. According to the correspondence principle, the Laplace transformed thermoviscoelastic solution is directly determined from the corresponding thermoelastic one. The real time solution can then be solved numerically by taking inverse Laplace transform. Finally, some typical examples of interfacial stresses are discussed.  相似文献

在水槽和低湍流度水洞中进行亚临界雷诺数圆柱尾流稳定性实验来流速度由零缓慢增长到一定值后保持不变,稳定足够长时间后,在流向某站位处给流场一个有限幅值的脉冲扰动,测量扰动前后相当长时间内下游尾流速度信号的变化情况当雷诺数处于高亚临界值时,未受扰动的尾流速度脉动很小,处于定常状态,但对近尾流进行脉冲扰动后,能够激发出不衰减的旋涡脱落发现扰动位置限制在圆柱后一定范围内才能有效,再往下游则扰动随时间衰减.说明圆柱近尾流中存在一个绝对不稳定区,在该区域内的扰动将在当地放大,经过复杂的演化,最后形成不衰减的旋涡脱落.  相似文献
