In this article, we first transform the general uniformly elliptic systems of first order equations with certain conditions into the complex equations, and propose the discontinuous Riemann- Hilbert problem and its modified well-posedness for the complex equations. Then we give a priori estimates of solutions of the modified discontinuous Riemann-Hilbert problem for the complex equations and verify its solvability. Finally the solvability results of the original discontinuous Riemann-Hilbert boundary value problem can be derived. In this paper, we study the global stability in determination of a coefficient in the transmission wave equation from data of the solution in a subboundary over a time interval. Providing regular initial data, we prove a hölder stability estimate in the inverse problem with a single measurement. The method of asymptotic partial decomposition of a domain aims at replacing a 3D or 2D problem by a hybrid problem 3D???1D; or 2D???1D, where the dimension of the problem decreases in part of the domain. The location of the junction between the heterogeneous problems is asymptotically estimated in certain circumstances, but for numerical simulations it is important to be able to determine the location of the junction accurately. In this article, by reformulating the problem in a mixed formulation context and by using an a posteriori error estimate, we propose an indicator of the error due to a wrong position of the junction. Minimizing this indicator allows us to determine accurately the location of the junction. Some numerical results are presented for a toy problem. 相似文献

In this article, we study the semidiscrete H 1-Galerkin mixed finite element method for parabolic problems over rectangular partitions. The well-known optimal order error estimate in the L 2-norm for the flux is of order 𝒪(h k+1) (SIAM J. Numer. Anal. 35 (2), (1998), pp. 712–727), where k ≥ 1 is the order of the approximating polynomials employed in the Raviart–Thomas element. We derive a superconvergence estimate of order 𝒪(h k+3) between the H 1-Galerkin mixed finite element approximation and an appropriately defined local projection of the flux variable when k ≥ 1. This paper focuses on the identification problem of Wiener nonlinear output error systems. The application of the key-term decomposition technique provides a special form of the Wiener model with polynomials, where all the model parameters to be estimated are separated. To solve the identification problem of Wiener nonlinear output error systems with the unmeasurable variables in the information vector, an auxiliary model-based gradient iterative algorithm is presented by replacing the unmeasurable variables with their corresponding iterative estimates. Motivated by a practical problem on a corrosion process, we shall study a third kind of BVP for a large class of elliptic equations in vector-valued Lp spaces. Particularly we will determine optimal spaces for boundary data and get maximal regularity for inhomogeneous equations. Then based on these results we shall treat some nonlinear problems. We study discrete fragmentation coagulation equations in spaces Xp, p>1, consisting of distributions having the pth moments finite. We show that for sufficiently regular fragmentation laws the fragmentation semigroup is analytic in Xp, and fully characterize the domain of its generator. This allows for explicit characterization of the domains of the fractional powers of the generator through real interpolation. Finally, we use the linear results to show the existence of global classical solutions to fragmentation coagulation equations for a class of unbounded coagulation kernels. 相似文献
