The central invariants of the derived ρ-Lie algebras in Yetter-Drinfeld categories are studied.     

Homotopy Theories of Algebras over Operads

Homotopy theories of algebras over operads, including operads over “little n-cubes,” are defined. Holonomy group scheme of an integral curve

Let Y be a projective variety over a field k (of arbitrary characteristic). Assume that the normalization X of Y is such that is normal, being the algebraic closure of k. We define a notion of strong semistability for vector bundles on Y. We show that a vector bundle on Y is strongly semistable if and only if its pull back to X is strongly semistable and hence it is a tensor category. In case , we show that strongly semistable vector bundles on Y form a neutral Tannakian category. We define the holonomy group scheme of Y to be the Tannakian group scheme for this category. For a strongly semistable principal G‐bundle , we construct a holonomy group scheme. We show that if Y is an integral complex nodal curve, then the holonomy group of a strongly semistable vector bundle on Y is the Zariski closure of the (topological) fundamental group of Y.

In this paper, we first give the definitions of a crossed left π-H-comodules over a crossed weak Hopf π-algebra H, and show that the category of crossed left π-H-comodules is a monoidal category. Finally, we show that a family σ = {σα,β: Hα Hβ→ k}α,β∈πof k-linear maps is a coquasitriangular structure of a crossed weak Hopf π-algebra H if and only if the category of crossed left π-H-comodules over H is a braided monoidal category with braiding defined by σ.     

Finiteness conditions in the stable module category

We study groups whose cohomology functors commute with filtered colimits in high dimensions. We relate this condition to the existence of projective resolutions which exhibit some finiteness properties in high dimensions, and to the existence of Eilenberg–Mac Lane spaces with finitely many n-cells for all sufficiently large n. To that end, we determine the structure of completely finitary Gorenstein projective modules over group rings. The methods are inspired by representation theory and make use of the stable module category, in which morphisms are defined through complete cohomology. In order to carry out these methods, we need to restrict ourselves to certain classes of hierarchically decomposable groups.

本文研究广义Comma范畴上Recollement问题.利用Abel范畴上Recollement及其伴随函子,诱导出广义Comma范畴,并利用比较函子构造出广义Comma范畴上的Recollement.这些结果推广了一般Abel范畴上的Recollement,丰富了Comma范畴研究.     

Length 3 complexes of abelian sheaves and Picard 2-stacks

We define a tricategory T[−2,0] of length 3 complexes of abelian sheaves, whose hom-bigroupoids consist of weak morphisms of such complexes. We also define a 3-category 2Pic(S) of Picard 2-stacks, whose hom-2-groupoids consist of additive 2-functors. We prove that these categories are triequivalent as tricategories. As a consequence we obtain a generalization of Deligne's analogous result about Picard stacks in SGA4, Exposé XVIII (Deligne (1973) [11]).     

A definition of the crystal commutor using Kashiwara’s involution

Henriques and Kamnitzer defined and studied a commutor for the category of crystals of a finite dimensional complex reductive Lie algebra. We show that the action of this commutor on highest weight elements can be expressed very simply using Kashiwara’s involution on the Verma crystal. The second author was supported by the RTG grant DMS-0354321.     

Coverings of 3-manifolds by open balls and two open solid tori

Hempel and McMillan showed that a closed 3-manifold that can be covered by three open balls is a connected sum of S³- and S²-bundles over S¹. In this paper we obtain a classification of all closed 3-manifolds that can be covered by two open balls and one open solid torus or by one open ball and two open solid tori.     

Geometrical Decomposition of the Free Loop Space on a Manifold with Finitely Many Closed Geodesics

In Morse theory an isolated degenerate critical point can be resolved into a finite number of nondegenerate critical points by perturbing the totally degenerate part of the Morse function inside the domain of a generalized Morse chart. Up to homotopy we can admit pertubations within the whole characteristic manifold. Up to homotopy type a relative CW-complex is attached, which is the product of a big relative CW-complex, representing the degenerate part, and a small cell having the dimension of the Morse index.
