The Gustavsson–Peetre method for several Banach spaces

We extend the Gustavsson–Peetre method to the context of N ‐tuples of Banach spaces. We give estimates for the norm of the interpolated operator. The method is applied to tuples of weighted L _p ‐spaces and to tuples of Orlicz spaces identifying the outcoming spaces in both cases. (© 2006 WILEY‐VCH Verlag GmbH & Co. KGaA, Weinheim)     

Constructing frames for finite dimensional Hilbert spaces

In this paper, we use the characterization of frames, introduced in [W. Rolli, A characterization of frames for finite dimensional Hilbert spaces, preprint], to construct frames for finite dimensional Hilbert spaces. Furthermore this approach allows for the construction of frames with prescribed properties.     

Representation of infinite-dimensional neutral non-autonomous control systems

This paper studies the well-posedness of a class of non-autonomous neutral control systems in Banach spaces. We prove that such systems are represented by absolutely regular non-autonomous linear systems in the sense of Schnaubelt [R. Schnaubelt, Feedback for non-autonomous regular linear systems, SIAM J. Control Optim. 41 (2002) 1141-1165]. This paper can be considered as the non-autonomous version of the work presented in [H. Bounit, S. Hadd, Regular linear systems governed by neutral FDEs, J. Math. Anal. Appl. 320 (2006) 836-858].     

Diameters of sections and coverings of convex bodies

We study the diameters of sections of convex bodies in R^N determined by a random N×n matrix Γ, either as kernels of Γ^* or as images of Γ. Entries of Γ are independent random variables satisfying some boundedness conditions, and typical examples are matrices with Gaussian or Bernoulli random variables. We show that if a symmetric convex body K in R^N has one well bounded k-codimensional section, then for any m>ck random sections of K of codimension m are also well bounded, where c?1 is an absolute constant. It is noteworthy that in the Gaussian case, when Γ determines randomness in sense of the Haar measure on the Grassmann manifold, we can take c=1.

Quantitative Recurrence and Large Deviations for Teichmuller Geodesic Flow

We prove quantitative recurrence and large deviations results for the Teichmuller geodesic flow on connected components of strata of the moduli space Q _g of holomorphic unit-area quadratic differentials on a compact genus g ≥ 2 surface.     

凸域内矩形的运动测度

本文研究了凸域内矩形的运动测度,通过对凸域内定长线段运动测度的推广,建立了包含在凸域内且长、宽都确定的矩形运动测度的一般公式,利用此公式得到了圆域和矩形域内此类矩形的运动测度,并以此为基础得到了推广后的Buffon投针问题的一些结果.
