New results in the perturbation theory of maximal monotone and -accretive operators in Banach spaces

Approximating Solution Of ∈ T(x) for an H-Monotone Operator in Hilbert Spaces

The purpose of this paper is to study the solution of 0 ∈ T(x) for an H-monotone operator introduced in [Fang and Huang, Appl. Math. Comput. 145(2003)795-803] in Hilbert spaces, which is the first proposal of it's kind. Some strong and weak convergence results are presented and the relations between maximal monotone operators and H-monotone operators are analyzed. Simultaneously, we apply these results to the minimization problem for T = ∂f and provide some numerical examples to support the theoretical findings.     

A note on the existence of stochastic integro‐differential equations with memory

In this study, we investigate the existence of mild solutions for a class of impulsive neutral stochastic integro‐differential equations with infinite delays, using the Krasnoselskii–Schaefer type fixed point theorem combined with theories of resolvent operators. Decay integral solutions for neutral fractional differential equations with infinite delays

Our aim in this work is to find decay integral solutions for a class of neutral fractional differential equations in Banach spaces involving unbounded delays. By constructing a suitable measure of noncompactness on the space of solutions and establishing new estimates for fractional resolvent operators, we prove the existence of a compact set of decay integral solutions to the mentioned problem. Pseudo asymptotically periodic solutions for Volterra integro‐differential equations

In this paper, we propose a new class of functions called pseudo ‐asymptotically ω‐periodic function in the Stepanov sense and explore its properties in Banach spaces including composition results. Furthermore, the existence and uniqueness of the pseudo ‐asymptotically ω‐periodic mild solutions to Volterra integro‐differential equations is investigated. Asymptotic type for sectorial operators and an integral of fractional powers

There is a standard notion of type for a sectorial linear operator acting in a Banach space. We introduce a notion of asymptotic type for a linear operator V, involving estimates on the resolvent ⁻¹(λI+V) as λ→0. We show, for example, that if V is sectorial and of asymptotic type ω then the fractional power Vα is of asymptotic type αω for a suitable range of positive α. Moreover, we establish various properties of the operator ; in particular, this operator is of asymptotic type 0, for a sectorial operator V. This result has an application to the construction of operators satisfying the well-known Ritt resolvent condition.     

Strong stability for a fluid–structure interaction model

In this paper we consider the question of stabilization of a fluid–structure model that describes the interaction between a 3‐D incompressible fluid and a 2‐D plate, the interface, which coincides with a flat flexible part of the surface of the vessel containing the fluid. The mathematical model comprises the Stokes equations and the equations for the longitudinal deflections of the plate with inclusion of the shear stress, which the fluid exerts on the plate. We show that the energy associated with the model decays strongly when the interface is equipped with a locally supported dissipative mechanism.
