Two new families of N,O-nucleoside analogues containing the anthracene moiety introduced through the nitrosocarbonyl ene reaction with allylic alcohols were prepared. The core structure is an isoxazolidine heterocycle that introduces either atom either a phenyl ring or dimethyl moiety at the C3 carbon. Different heterobases were inserted at the position 5 of the heterocyclic ring. One of the synthesized compounds demonstrated a good capacity to induce cell death and an appreciable nuclear fragmentation was evidenced in treated cells. 相似文献

The rapid spread of the new Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) has actually become the newest challenge for the healthcare system since, to date, there is not an effective treatment. Among all drugs tested, Hydroxychloroquine (HCQ) has attracted significant attention. This systematic review aims to analyze preclinical and clinical studies on HCQ potential use in viral infection and chronic diseases. A systematic search of Scopus and PubMed databases was performed to identify clinical and preclinical studies on this argument; 2463 papers were identified and 133 studies were included. Regarding HCQ activity against COVID-19, it was noticed that despite the first data were promising, the latest outcomes highlighted the ineffectiveness of HCQ in the treatment of viral infection. Several trials have seen that HCQ administration did not improve severe illness and did not prevent the infection outbreak after virus exposure. By contrast, HCQ arises as a first-line treatment in managing autoimmune diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis, lupus erythematosus, and Sjögren syndrome. It also improves glucose and lipid homeostasis and reveals significant antibacterial activity. 相似文献

AbstractThe study on inhibitory effects of resveratrol glucosides (REs) on advanced glycation endproducts (AGEs) formation is still unmet. Herein, for the first time, the antiglycation activities of five REs in the fetal bovine serum proteins (FBS)/fructose system were evaluated, and its structure-activity relationship and antiglycation mechanism were further explored. These REs showed remarkable inhibition toward AGEs formation. Among them, Piceatannol-3'-O-glucoside (PG) exhibited highest antiglycation activity as reflected in approximately 80% inhibition of fluorescent AGEs at the concentration of 1.0?mM. The structure-activity relationship analysis indicated that glucoside attached to the B ring of resveratrol displays a superior antiglycation activity. Moreover, the results of antiglycation mechanism showed that the antiglycation activity of REs was proportional to their antioxidant capacity and methylglyoxal (MGO) trapping capacity. Therefore, the REs are promising candidates worthy of further exploration for preventing AGEs accumulation in vivo, thereby treating AGEs-associated diseases. 相似文献

Dynamic crosslinks formed by thermoreversible associations provide an energy dissipation mechanism to toughen hydrogels. However, the details of the organization of these crosslinks impact the hydrogel properties through constraints on the network chain conformation. The physical crosslinks generated by hydrophobic association of the 2‐(N‐ethylperfluorooctane‐sulfonamido)ethyl methacrylate (FOSM) groups in a random copolymer of N,N‐dimethylacrylamide (DMA) and FOSM provide a simple system to investigate how the hydrogel structure (as determined from small angle neutron scattering impacts the mechanical properties of the hydrogel. The initial hydration of the copolymer at 25 °C leads to a kinetically trapped structure with large‐scale heterogeneities. Heating the hydrogel at 60 °C, which is above the glass transition temperature for the FOSM domains, allows the hydrogel structure to rearrange to reduce the density of network defects and the structural heterogeneities. That effectively increases the crosslink density of the network, which stiffens the hydrogel and decreases the swelling at equilibrium at 25 °C. The processing history determines how the hydrophobes aggregate to form the physically crosslinked network, whose structure defines the mechanical properties of these hydrogels. © 2017 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. In the classical rhodium-diphosphine complexes-catalyzed asymmetric hydrogenation of enamide substrates, examination on the role of catalyst electronic polarizability in the origin of enantioselectivity reveals its linear free energy relationship with the product enantiomeric ratio that is much more pronounced than analogous correlation with steric effect in the same systems. From a conceptually novel scenario, this work suggests that the often-overlooked chiral catalyst local polarizability property may function as a controlling force in enantioselection thus has important implication in rational catalyst design. 相似文献

Experimental results concerning the interaction between a variety of nanocrystalline metals (gold, silver, nickel and chromium) and both crystalline polymer [poly-DCH (1,6-di (N-carbazolyl)-2,4-hexadiene)] and amorphous carbon substrates, are presented and analyzed. Attention is focused on aspects of the interaction that concern interfacial bonding, its correlation with the cohesive energies of the various metals and the energy of the interfaces. Experimental contributions include qualitative estimates of the magnitude of interfacial energies for the crystalline polymer/metal and amorphous carbon/metal interfaces and a direct measurement of the interfacial energies for gold and silver nanocrystals deposited on the amorphous carbon substrate. The sequence of interfacial energy values for the polymer/metal and amorphous carbon/metal systems is also determined. The interfacial energies for both the poly-DCH and amorphous carbon substrates decreases in the order silver, gold, nickel, and chromium, as expected from cohesive energy, melting point and surface energy data for these elements. The crystalline polymer/metal interfaces were examined for the presence of orientation relationships using selected area diffraction and optical diffractometry of high-resolution TEM images. No orientation relationships were found for any of the polymer/metal combinations spanning a large range of metal reactivities. Lack of atomic matching or some as yet unknown surface condition on the polymer may be responsible for this effect. 相似文献
