In this study the tangential partial slip problems in Hertzian contact regions are treated by a numerical technique. The tangential loading may include tangential forces in the contact plane and a twisting moment normal to the contact plane. The Coulomb’s law of friction and the property that the direction of friction must oppose the relative motion lead to nonlinear equations. The Newton-Raphson method is utilized to solve these nonlinear equations. Numerical results for tangential tractions and sizes of stick and slip zones may be determined, and they agree with existing analytical results for circular contacts.  相似文献

The use of a sliding plate rheometer (SPR) to determine the first normal stress difference of molten polymers and elastomers at high shear rates is demonstrated. The simple shear flow in this instrument is not subject to the flow instabilities that limit the use of rotational rheometers to shear rates often below 1 s−1. However, issues of secondary flow and wall slip must be addressed to obtain reliable data using an SPR. A highly entangled, monodisperse polybutadiene and a commercial polystyrene were the polymers studied. The inclusion of the polystyrene made it possible to compare data with those obtained by Lodge using a stressmeter, which is an instrument based on the measurement of the hole pressure. The data from the two instruments are in good agreement and are also close to the predictions of an empirical equation of Laun based on the storage and loss moduli.  相似文献

研究了微平行管道内非牛顿流体––Eyring 流体在外加电场力和压力作用下的电渗流动. 在考虑微尺度效应, 电场作用, 非牛顿特性, 滑移边界等情况下, 建立Eyring流体在微平行管道内电渗流动的力学模型. 通过解线性Possion-Boltzmann方程和Cauchy动量方程, 给出Eyring 流体速度分布的精确解和近似解析解, 并探讨了上述因素对电渗流动的影响. 将电场力和压力对于Eyring流体电渗流动的速度分布的影响进行了比较分析, 得到有意义的结果.  相似文献

In this paper, we consider the pressure projection stabilized finite element method for the Stokes problem with nonlinear slip boundary conditions whose variational formulation is the variational inequality problem of the second kind with the Stokes operator. The H1 and L2 error estimates for the velocity and the L2 error estimate for the pressure are obtained. Finally, the numerical results are displayed to verify the theoretical analysis.  相似文献

A stochastic crystal plasticity model is proposed and applied within the rate-independent regime. As opposed to conventional deterministic algorithms wherein multiple slip systems are activated and redundant constraints may exist, the new Monte Carlo plasticity (MCP) paradigm is based on a stochastic chain of singly activated slip systems and thus avoids the possible ill-condition associated with multi-slip algorithms. The choice of the activated slip system is made at each Monte Carlo (MC) step based on the Metropolis algorithm. The MCP model is implemented within a Material Point Method (MPM) as a constitutive model to capture the elasto-plastic behavior of polycrystalline materials. A comparison with a commonly used singular value decomposition (SVD) algorithm indicates that MCP offers superior computational efficiency while maintaining comparable accuracy.  相似文献

研究了低精度鞋式个人惯性导航系统的导航修正算法.该系统由低精度MEMS惯性IMU单元组成,固联在步行者的鞋上.导航算法在传统捷联惯性导航算法基础上,引入了零速修正技术,根据人行走时脚部运动的加速度统计特性,设计了一种比力模值+滑动方差检测算法,用以检测行走过程中的静止时间段.然后通过设计的改良卡尔曼滤波器在静止时间段内滤波估计导航姿态、速度和位置的计算误差,通过反馈校正可以提高原系统的导航精度.最后通过两组MEMS实物实验验证了导航修正算法的有效性和可行性,并指出了进一步的研究方向.  相似文献

The validity of Navier's partial slip condition is investigated by studying the oscillatory flow in a coated channel. The two-fluid model is used to solve the unsteady viscous equations exactly. Partial slip is experienced by the core fluid. It is found that Naviers condition does not hold for an unsteady core fluid.  相似文献

An analytical version of the discrete-ordinates method (the ADO method) is used with recently established analytical expressions for the rigid-sphere scattering kernels to develop concise and particularly accurate solutions to the viscous-slip, the diffusion-slip, and the half-space thermal-creep problems for a binary gas mixture described by the linearized Boltzmann equation. In addition to a computation of the viscous-slip, the diffusion-slip, and the thermal-slip coefficients, for the case of Maxwell boundary conditions for each of the two species, the velocity, heat-flow, and shear-stress profiles are established for each species of particles. Numerical results are reported for two binary mixtures (Ne–Ar and He–Xe) with various molar concentrations.  相似文献
