The paper presents a solution to the problem of thermal conduction and thermoelasticity for a thin shallow spherical shell
heated by a concentrated or local impulsive heat source moving over the shell surface. It is assumed that temperature is linearly
distributed across the shell thickness and that the shell, on its sides, exchanges heat with the environment in accordance
with Newton’s law of cooling. The Fourier and Laplace transforms are used to find an analytic solution. The dependence of
the temperature field and stress/strain components on the type of heating and the form of heat source is studied

The solvability of the problem of the flows resulting from the incidence of a discontinuous wave on a bottom step is studied
using a single-layer shallow water model. Solutions in which the total energy of the flow is conserved at the step and those
in which it is lost at the step are considered. Regions of double and triple hystereses in the obtained self-similar solutions
are found. An analogy is drawn with the problem of single-layer flow over a bottom obstacle.

A computational study has been carried out to examine the effects of driver gas contamination in the NASA HYPULSE facility at GASL when operating with a detonation driver in reflected-shock tunnel mode. Unlike high-enthalpy shock tunnels which use helium as a driver gas, the driver gas in a detonation driver consists of a mixture of water vapour and argon, which has very different chemical and thermodynamic properties than those of helium. The purpose of the present work is to quantitatively evaluate the effects of driver gas contamination on the flow properties in the test section. Two computational analyses have been performed. The first analysis examined the nozzle flow under the influence of a prescribed level of driver gas contamination. In the second analysis, the transient development of the driver gas leakage in the reflected-shock region in the shock tube is studied. 目前,桁架结构稳定分析有两个理论:经典的特征值理论和几何非线性临界点理论。前者发展较早,在许多结构力学书中都有叙述。但是经过工程应用检验,它过高地估计了结构抗稳定的能力。后者是20年前提出的,提出者认为适用于所有的扁桁架。经过几年的研究,作者连续提出三个稳定理论:线性与非线性欧拉理论;非线性临界点-欧拉理论和两个计算方法,进行桁架结构的线性和非线性截面优化设计。经过理论研究和对前人文献中数值例题的计算和比较,发现特征值理论不符合实际,临界点理论只适用于大扁度的桁架,而不适用于一切扁桁架。研究结果提供了若干有用的结论,给出了各种稳定理论的适用范围,指出了国际文献中若干例题的正确和错误,补充了桁架结构的稳定分析理论,使之更为完整和实用了。 相似文献

In this paper, we firstly establish the existence theorem of the global weak solutions of the Cauchy problem for the shallow water wave model of moderate amplitude, then following the idea in Xin and Zhang’s work (see Xin and Zhang, 2002), we prove the uniqueness of global weak solutions using the localization analysis in the transport equation theory. 针对浅埋隧道开挖后底部隆起变形现象,应用极限分析上限法构造了考虑底部隆起变形的围岩压力计算模型,结合线性Mohr-Coulomb准则等推导出极限围岩压力的理论表达式。通过约束条件将围岩压力的计算转化为数学中的最优化问题,编制程序进行了优化计算。将计算结果与工程实测数据及文献计算结果进行了对比,验证了当前方法的可靠性。同时,指出在运用极限分析法处理浅埋隧道围岩压力问题过程中应将隧道底部一同考虑,对隧道底部支护会对整个围岩压力产生影响,有助于隧道结构的整体稳定。研究可以为浅埋隧道的开挖、支护提供一定的理论指导. 相似文献
