We report on the fabrication and performances of a solid-phase microextraction (SPME) fiber based on a stainless steel wire coated with a covalently attached polyacrylonitrile (PAN)/multi-walled carbon nanotubes (MWCNTs) composite. This new coating is obtained by atom transfer radical polymerization (ATRP) of acrylonitrile mixed with MWCNTs. ATRP is initiated from 11-(2-bromo-2-methylpropionyloxy)-undecyl-phosphonic acid molecules grafted on the wire surface via the phosphonic acid group. The extraction performances of the fibers are assessed on different classes of compounds (polar, non-polar, aromatic, etc.) from water solutions by headspace extraction. The optimization of the parameters affecting the extraction efficiency of the target compounds was studied as well as the reproducibility and the repeatability of the fiber. The fibers sustain more than 200 extractions during which they remain chemically stable and maintain good performances (detection limits lower than 2 μg/l, repeatability, etc.). Considering their robustness together with their easy and inexpensive fabrication, these fibers could constitute promising alternatives to existing products. 相似文献

Two numerical models are presented for predicting vehicle exhaust dispersion in complex urban areas with or without the wind field. The models not only reflect the effect of building and street canyon configuration on the pollutant propagation, but also are able to predict the turbulent energy produced by moving vehicles on the road. In particular, in the discrete model, turbulent energy and pollutant concentration produced by each vehicle are dynamically described in the Lagrangian method. The pollutant propagation is calculated with the advection–diffusion equation. The Reynolds averaged Navier–Stokes equations are numerically solved for the wind flows. The movement and heat release rate of the vehicles are treated as sources of the turbulent energy equation for the computation of turbulent energy produced by the moving vehicles. This paper reports the detailed implementation of the models. Four typical numerical tests were carried out to represent the performance of the proposed numerical models. This paper examines the results of an extensive test program undertaken to study crack growth in D6ac steel and shows that in each case the increment in the crack length per cycle (da/dN) conforms to the Generalised Frost-Dugdale crack growth law. This is found to be true for both constant Kmax, constant R ratio load increasing, and compression-compression pre-cracking tests in the L-T, T-L and the S-T directions. 相似文献

The high-temperature oxidation behavior of cold-sprayed Ni-20Cr and Ni-50Cr coatings on SAE 213-T22 boiler steel has been investigated at 900 °C in air under cyclic heating and cooling conditions for 50 cycles. The kinetics of oxidation of coated and bare boiler steel has been established with the help of weight change measurements. It was observed that all the coated and bare steels obeyed parabolic rate law of oxidation. X-ray diffraction, FE-SEM/EDAX and X-ray mapping techniques were used to analyse the oxidation products of the coated and uncoated boiler steel. The uncoated steel suffered corrosion in the form of intense spalling and peeling of its oxide scale, which was perhaps due to the formation of unprotective Fe2O3 oxide scale. Both the coatings showed better resistance to the air oxidation as compared to the uncoated steel. The Ni-50Cr coating was found to be more protective than the Ni-20Cr-coated steel. The formation of oxides and spinels of nickel and chromium may be contributing to the development of air oxidation resistance in the coatings. 相似文献

在Nagel Schrekenberg单车道元胞自动机交通流模型(简称NS模型)的基础上,考虑车辆之间的相对运动薛郁等提出了一种改进的单车道元胞自动机交通流模型(简称改进的NS模型).通过两种情况列出了改进的NS模型存在不尽周严的地方,随之在新模型中引入了行车状态 变量和反馈规则,从而控制车辆出现倒车和刹车过急等现象.通过计算机对新模型进行模拟 ,发现减速概率和车流密度对车流状态的演化影响很大,当减速概率高(如道路条件差)时 ,即使车流密度低,车流也会出现局部堵塞状态;而当减速概率一定时,随着车流密度增加 ,车流的运动相与堵塞相发生了全局性的交替出现,此时类似于波的波峰和波谷的传播.与 改进的NS模型相比较,新模型模拟的车流量较高,说明新模型减少了车流的总体停滞状态.

We describe a solution procedure for a special case of the periodic vehicle routing problem (PVRP). Operation managers at an auto parts manufacturer in the north of Spain described the optimization problem to the authors. The manufacturer must pick up parts (raw material) from geographically dispersed locations. The parts are picked up periodically at scheduled times. The problem consists of assigning a pickup schedule to each of its supplier’s locations and also establishing daily routes in order to minimize total transportation costs. The time horizon under consideration may be as long as 90 days. The resulting PVRP is such that the critical decision is the assignment of locations to schedules, because once this is done, the daily routing of vehicles is relatively straightforward. Through extensive computational experiments, we show that the metaheuristic procedure described in this paper is capable of finding high-quality solutions within a reasonable amount of computer time. Our main contribution is the development of a procedure that is more effective at handling PVRP instances with long planning horizons when compared to those proposed in the literature. 相似文献

We present an OR-based approach to support a milk collection problem in a special branch of dairy industry. The annual growth of the sector and the continuous imbalance between milk supply and demand, has urged the sector to look for a different approach to their daily milk collection problem. Specific details of the problem environment (i.e., the continuous production on supply level and the delivery conditions on demand level) gave rise to choose for a short- to medium-term planning approach. The proposed decision support system has to be considered as an efficient tool for generating stable milk collection plans which in turn also serves as an effective starting point for the vehicle routing problem. From a computational point of view it turned out that the application of Special Ordered Sets type 1 (SOS1) was very useful. Although it appears from literature that the computational advantage of SOS1 is restricted to supplementary model conditions, this study shows that these conditions are not necessarily needed. 相似文献
