The link-cell (LC) algorithm is widely used in discrete element method (DEM) simulation, in order to increase computational efficiency. The common way is to divide the entire computational domain into a series of square sub-cells. A huge index matrix, Ω, is required to store the information of particles located in each of these sub-cells. However, most of these sub-cells are always empty for some anomalistic computational domain, such as particulate flow in a pipeline. These empty sub-cells also consume the limited memory bandwidth and lower the computational power. In order to reduce the size of the index matrix, a body fitted link-cell (BFLC) algorithm is established to identify the neighbors quickly. Furthermore, a simplified algorithm for simulation of two dimensional particulate flow in curved pipelines is presented. Lastly, an example is presented to validate the BFLC algorithm. 相似文献

提出了一种基于光时域反射原理(Optical Time Domain Reflectometer,ODTR)和分布式光纤传感器的输油管道泄漏实时监测技术。当输油管道发生泄漏时,光纤所处的温度场发生变化,利用光纤后向拉曼散射的温度效应,通过测量该处的温度变化来判断管道泄漏;当发生人为破坏(盗油)事件时,所产生的振动、压力等扰动信号使在光纤中传输的后向瑞利散射光产生明显的损耗特征,通过测量其光强的变化来检测管道是否受到扰动或破坏。用ODTR技术实现对光纤测量点的定位。实验结果表明,光纤长度5km(可延长),测温范围0~90℃(可扩展),温度测量偏差小于+ 5℃,对扰动外力和温度的定位偏差小于15m。该检测技术可以有效地提高输油管道泄漏监测的水平和油的防盗水平。 相似文献

When liquids flow in the pipelines, the onset of cavitation can be characterized by a variant of the Euler number known as the cavitation number (CN), which is based on the velocity and denoted by C in this paper. Conventionally, cavitation is considered to be induced when C ~ 1. However, experimental observations and several pipe bursts indicate that the CN may incorrectly predict the onset of cavitation. For example, when leakage occurs in the pipeline or a valve in the pipeline is opened, the resultant pressure loss generates a dynamic pressure wave with a small amplitude, which may lead to bubble formation, even though C ~ 1 is not satisfied. Hence, this paper proposes another CN based on the amplitude of the generated dynamic pressure wave, rather than the velocity, for ascertaining the onset of cavitation. The validity of the proposed CN was verified through experiments and a case study. The results indicated that the proposed CN can be effectively used for cavitation prediction induced by pressure fluctuations and for investigating phenomena such as pressure fluctuation, leakage, and corrosion in liquid pipelines, tanks, and pressure vessels, as well as the safety design of liquefied natural gas tanks and tankers. 相似文献

对X60管线钢在硫酸盐还原菌(SRB)和CO2共存环境中进行浸泡实验, 对浸泡不同时间后的腐蚀形态及膜层的组成进行观察和分析, 并对膜层覆盖的X60钢的腐蚀电化学参数特征进行分析. 结果表明, SRB吸附形成的微生物膜覆盖程度加大导致X60钢电位正移, 腐蚀产物FeS和FeCO3含量增加导致X60钢电位负移. X60钢表面膜层中腐蚀产物含量较低时, 仅有一个与电极电位有关的时间常数, 当膜层中腐蚀产物的含量高时, 增加了与腐蚀产物膜有关的时间常数. 在浸泡初期, 随微生物膜覆盖程度增加, X60钢的电荷传递电阻增大; 随腐蚀产物含量增加, 电荷传递电阻先下降后增大. 随浸泡时间的延长, X60钢双电层电容和膜层电容均增大. 相似文献

基于双流体模型,利用小扰动理论,提出了油气混输大跨越管道压力波速模型.利用计算机编程对其求解,通过大跨越管道油气混输实例,得到了以下结论:压力波速的变化受气相影响较大,即使少量气体也能在较大程度上影响压力波速,随混输气量增大,压力波速减小,压力响应时间延长;混输低点气体所承受的压力较混输高点大,从而低点处气相压缩系数小,混输低点较混输高点压力波速增大,压力响应时间相应缩短;在输运管道低点处,气体受到极大压缩,压力波速的变化不明显,几乎收敛于恒定值,在混输管道高点处压力波速变化剧烈. 相似文献

Two mechanical models have been presented in this paper for structural failure prediction of piping systems conveying liquids subjected to pressure transients. One model takes into account the axial fluid–structure interaction (FSI) phenomenon between fluid and pipe motion, whereas the other refers to an extension of the well-known waterhammer formulation. Both models are described by a system of non-linear hyperbolic equations which are solved by using a numerical procedure based upon the operator splitting technique and Glimm's scheme. To implement Glimm's method, it is presented the solution of a 4×4 Riemann problem with discontinuous coefficients. A mathematical model is presented, and numerical experiments are performed to describe the mechanics of the slow movement of a pipeline. The problem reduction algorithm to one-dimensional formulation is offered. Results of numerical experiment for the model problem are adduced. The proposed mathematical model is found to adequately describe the dynamics of known phenomena of pipes. The cross-sections of the extended curvilinear thin-walled pipeline are numerically demonstrated to experience warping, which has experimental confirmation in the literature. 相似文献
