A parameterized string (p-string) is a generalization of the traditional string over two alphabets: a constant alphabet and a parameter alphabet. A parameterized match (p-match) exists between two p-strings if the constants match exactly and if there exists a bijection between the parameter symbols. Historically, p-strings have been leveraged for source code cloning, plagiarism detection, and biological sequence structural similarity. In this work, we identify the connection between the p-match and music, one of several applications to motivate our study of holes in p-strings, and prefix array-based data structures for p-strings. First, we introduce the parameterized prefix array (pPA) for p-strings and its succinct representation, the compact parameterized prefix array (cpPA). We show an interesting construction of the cpPA via the parameterized longest previous factor (pLPF), a more recently proposed array with connections to various pattern matching data structures and LZ factorization. Next, we introduce the parameterized string with holes (hp-string), needed to address a special form of indeterminate pattern matching with p-strings. Then, we show how to construct the compact prefix array for hp-strings. Finally, we discuss applications for our data structures. 相似文献

The post-Newtonian scheme in multiple systems with post-Newtonian parameters presented by Klioner and Soffel is extended to the post-post-Newtonian (PPN) order for light propagation problem in the solar system. Under considering the solar system experiment requirement, a new parameter ε is introduced. This extension does not change the virtue of the scheme on the linear partial differential equations of the potential and vector potential mentioned in previous work. Furthermore, this extension is based on the former work done by Richter and Matzner in one global system theory. As an application, we also consider the deflection of light ray in the global coordinates. And the deflection angle of light ray is obtained with post-Newtonian parameters. 相似文献

This paper considers the computation of the simplest parameterized normal forms (SPNF) of Hopf and generalized Hopf bifurcations.
Although the notion of the simplest normal form has been studied for more than two decades, most of the efforts have been
spent on the systems that do not involve perturbation parameters due to the restriction of the computational complexity. Very
recently, two singularities – single zero and Hopf bifurcation – have been investigated, and the SPNFs for these two cases
have been obtained. This paper extends a recently developed method for Hopf bifurcation to compute the SPNF of generalized
Hopf bifurcations. The attention is focused on a codimension-2 generalized Hopf bifurcation. It is shown that the SPNF cannot
be obtained by using only a near-identity transformation. Additional transformations such as time and parameter rescaling
are further introduced. Moreover, an efficient recursive formula is presented for computing the SPNF. Examples are given to

The tracking of eigenvalues and eigenvectors for parameterized matrices is of major importance in optimization and stability problems. In the present paper, we consider a one-parameter family of matrices with distinct eigenvalues. A complete system of differential equations is developed for both the eigenvalues and the right and left eigenvectors. In this work, first, we consider novel parameterized identities for the left and right part of the -analogue of Hermite–Hadamard inequality. Second, using these new parameterized identities, we give new parameterized -trapezoid and parameterized -midpoint type integral inequalities via -quasiconvex function. By changing values of parameter , some new special cases from the main results are obtained and some known results are recaptured as well. Finally, at the end, an application to special means is given as well. This new research has the potential to establish new boundaries in comparative literature and some well-known implications. From an application perspective, the proposed research on the -quasiconvex function has interesting results that illustrate the applicability and superiority of the results obtained. 相似文献
