This paper is to solve the interlaminar stresses of adhesive lap joint by the energy method without considering the adhesive layer. The joint is made of two identical narrow plates. Two cases are discussed: one is for the isotropic material and the other is for orthotropic material. Because of the different materials forming the joint, the length of distribution and the magnitude of the interlaminar, stresses for the two cases will be very different.Projects supported by the Science Fund of Chines Academy of Sciences (1986–1988).  相似文献

Summary The present paper discusses how to reduce the applied electric potential which controls a distribution of the elastic displacement, when temperature change induces elastic deformation in a piezoelectric-based solid state actuator. The actuator consists of an isotropic structural plate, onto which multiple piezoelectric ceramic plates of crystal class 6mm are perfectly bonded. The analysis of this thermoelastic problem leads to electric potential applied to piezoelectric ceramic plates. Numerical calculations are carried out for an isotropic steel plate, onto which multiple cadmium-selenide plates are perfectly bonded. Finally, it is shown that the maximum applied electric potential in the case of ten cadmium selenide plates can be reduced to 11% of that derived from the previous study of a similar problem of one cadmium selenide plate bonded onto an isotropic steel plate. The prediction of road traffic noise levels in areas not directly exposed, such as areas behind buildings and courtyards, is difficult using standardised methods. This is mainly due to the fact that traditionally only one or a few sources are included. Here a simple model that assumes a flat city on rigid ground is used to demonstrate that sources from a large area are important. Calculations are compared to measurements for four cases, and the proposed method predicts levels 6-10 dB too high for the equivalent level at all measurement positions. If a correction is applied for this over-estimation, the results agree well.  相似文献

We present how to use the block Schur algorithm to design optical multi-layered filters. The block Schur algorithm can, in turn, be applied to find reflection coefficients of optical multi-layered filters. We show that the block Schur algorithm using the block matrices is faster than the standard Schur algorithm using the scalar elements on vector processor. The optimum sub-matrix size for the block Schur algorithm on CRAY Y-MP C98 supercomputer is also suggested.  相似文献

A complete, plane-wave spectral, vector-wave function expansion of the electromagnetic, electric, and magnetic, dyadic Green's function for electric, as well as magnetic, point currents for a planar, anisotropic uniaxial multi-layered medium is presented. It is given in terms ofz-propagating, source-free vector-wave functions, where is normal to the interfaces, and it is developed via a utilization of the Lorentz reciprocity theorem. The electromagnetic dyadic Green's function for periodic electric as well as magnetic point current sources is also presented. In this study, a variational approach to the settlement analysis of an axially loaded pier embedded in a multi-layered soil profile is presented. In this method, the soil profile and the embedded pier are divided into a number of sub-layers according to the actual number of soil layers observed in the field. The displacement shape function of each soil layer is given as a product of an exponential equation along the pier depth and the Bessel's solution in the radial direction. The displacement relationship among the layers can be derived through the transformation matrices. One of the major features of this method is that the total number of pier elements is the same as that of soil sub-layers. All the field components, such as the displacement, stress, and strain in the soil, can be calculated by closed-form solutions except that the only unknown variable is the value β which can be determined by iteration techniques. Comparisons were made with the results of finite element analysis and the field observation in pile-loaded tests.  相似文献

对多层地基的平面应变固结问题进行了研究,并同时考虑了土体的渗透各向异性和孔隙 流体的可压缩性. 从平面应变Biot固结的控制方程出发,对时间t, 坐标z和x进行 Laplace和Fourier变换,建立了地基表面(z=0)和任意深度z处的基本量 在Laplace-Fourier变换域内的传递矩阵关系. 利用传递矩阵 法,结合土层连续条件和边界条件,并应用Laplace-Fourier逆变换技术,推导出渗透各向 异性可压缩多层地基平面应变固结的理论解. 基于该解,编制了计算程序,并进行了 数值计算. 讨论了土体的渗透各向异性、孔隙流体的可压缩性以及地基的分层特性对地基固 结的影响,分析结果表明:土体的渗透各向异性、孔隙流体的可压缩性,以及地基的分层特 性对地基的固结行为有着重要的影响.  相似文献

利用Fourier-Bessel级数展开法给出了表面具有覆盖层的圆弧形凹陷地形对入射平面P波散射问题的一个解析解,并利用该解分析了不同形状凹陷地形表面覆盖层刚度和厚度对入射P波的影响。结果表明,凹陷地形表面覆盖层的存在,即使厚度很薄,对入射P波的散射也具有很大覆盖,覆盖层刚度和厚度的变化可显著改善凹陷地形场地的动力特性。  相似文献
