The problem of axisymmetric wave flow of a viscous incompressible fluid in a system consisting of a long thin deformable tube and a terminal element that determines the conditions of wave reflection at the tube end is analyzed. An expression for the input admittance of the system is obtained and the dependence of the admittance on the system parameters is investigated. The resonant frequencies at which the admittance amplitude has extrema are found and it is shown that at these frequencies the admittance variations with variation of the terminal-element parameters are maximal. The dependence of the resonant frequency on the tube length is investigated. Possible applications of the results obtained to the hydromechanical interpretation of a novel method of pulse diagnostics are discussed. 相似文献

In this article the flows of perfect gas behind converging and diverging strong shock waves under isothermal condition in
the cases of spherical and cylindrical symmetry are examined. A diverging shock wave is formed by energy supply according
to a power law. These waves propagate in a uniform medium at rest and all conservation laws hold at the fronts of these shock
waves. It was established that in the case of converging waves for any value of the ratios of specific heats the solution of the problem under consideration exists and is unique. When the problem has more than one solution. In the case of diverging shock waves the solution exists and is unique for any from the interval and any value of power in the energy input law.

Efficiency evaluations in data envelopment analysis are shown to be stable for arbitrary perturbations in the convex hulls of input and output data. Also, the corresponding restricted Lagrange multiplier functions are shown to be continuous.
