In a recent paper Lal and Yadov [4] obtained a theorem on the degree of approximation for a function belonging to the Lipschitz class Lipα using the product of the Cesàro and Euler means of order one of its Fourier series. We consider a group decision-making problem where preferences given by the experts are articulated into the form of pairwise comparison matrices. In many cases, experts are not able to efficiently provide their preferences on some aspects of the problem because of a large number of alternatives, limited expertise related to some problem domain, unavailable data, etc., resulting in incomplete pairwise comparison matrices. Our goal is to develop a computational method to retrieve a group priority vector of the considered alternatives dealing with incomplete information. For that purpose, we have established an optimization problem in which a similarity function and a parametric compromise function are defined. Associated to this problem, a logarithmic goal programming formulation is considered to provide an effective procedure to compute the solution. Moreover, the parameters involved in the method have a clear meaning in the context of group problems.  相似文献

In the recent years the extension of linear positive operators from real to complex domain is one of the interesting area of research. In this context, we present the exact order of simultaneous approximation and Voronovskaja kind results with quantitative estimate for a new type of complex Durrmeyer operator (different from those previously studied), attached to analytic functions in compact disks. In this way, we put in evidence the overconvergence phenomenon for this kind of Durrmeyer operator, namely the extensions of approximation properties with exact quantitative estimates, from the real interval [1/3, 2/3] to compact disks in the complex plane.  相似文献

In this paper we propose numerical treatment for singular integral equations. The methods are developed by means of the Sinc approximation with smoothing transformations. Such approximation is an effective technique against the singularities of the equations, and achieves exponential convergence. Therefore the methods improve conventional results where only polynomial convergence have been reported. The resulting algebraic system is solved by least squares approximation and leap frog algorithm. Estimation of errors of the approximate solution is presented. Some experimental tests are presented to show the efficient of the proposed methods.  相似文献

A simple and commonly used method to approximate the total claim distribution of a (possibly weakly dependent) insurance collective is the normal approximation. In this article, we investigate the error made when the normal approximation is plugged in a fairly general distribution-invariant risk measure. We focus on the rate of convergence of the error relative to the number of clients, we specify the relative error’s asymptotic distribution, and we illustrate our results by means of a numerical example. Regarding the risk measure, we take into account distortion risk measures as well as distribution-invariant coherent risk measures.  相似文献

We present a well-balanced numerical scheme for approximating the solution of the Baer-Nunziato model of two-phase flows by balancing the source terms and discretizing the compaction dynamics equation. First, the system is transformed into a new one of three subsystems: the first subsystem consists of the balance laws in the gas phase, the second subsystem consists of the conservation law of the mass in the solid phase and the conservation law of the momentum of the mixture, and the compaction dynamic equation is considered as the third subsystem. In the first subsystem, stationary waves are used to build up a well-balanced scheme which can capture equilibrium states. The second subsystem is of conservative form and thus can be numerically treated in a standard way. For the third subsystem, the fact that the solid velocity is constant across the solid contact suggests us to compose the technique of the Engquist-Osher scheme. We show that our scheme is capable of capturing exactly equilibrium states. Moreover, numerical tests show the convergence of approximate solutions to the exact solution.  相似文献
