The results of quantum chemical calculations of the electronic structure and geometry of octahedral clusters [Mo6S8(CN)6]6−, [Mo6Se8(CN)6]6−, [Re6S8(CN)6]4−, and Rh6(CO)16 by the ab initio SCF (RHF) and DFT (B3LYP) methods with various basis sets are presented. The electronic states of the clusters under study in ideal spherically symmetric potential were classified in the orbital quantum number l (1s, 1p, 1d, 1f, 1g, 1h, 1i), l = 0–6. In real crystal field with Oh symmetry these states are split. The calculated new electronic states were matched to the irreducible representations of the point symmetry group Oh. The polarizabilities of the compounds considered are 55–65 Å3. A new model for the electronic structure of octahedral clusters containing M6 groups was proposed. The model is based on the idea of free electrons moving in spherically symmetric potential field. Published in Russian in Izvestiya Akademii Nauk. We have calculated the heats of formation (HOFs) for a series of polyazidocubanes by using the density functional theory (DFT), Hartree-Fock, and MP2 methods with 6-31G* basis set as well as semiempirical methods. The cubane skeleton was chosen for a reference compound, that is, the cubane skeleton was not broken in the process of designing isodesmic reactions. There exists group additivity for the HOF with respect to the azido group. The semiempirical AM1 method also produced reliable results for the HOFs of the title compounds, but the semiempirical MINDO3 did not. The relationship between HOFs and molecular structures was discussed. It was found that the HOF increases 330-360 kJ/mol for each additional number of the azido group being added to the cubane skeleton. The distance between azido groups slightly influences the values of HOFs. The interacting energies of neighbor azido groups in polyazidocubanes are in the range of 2.3 approximately 6.6 kJ/mol, which are so small and less related to the substituent numbers. The average interaction energy between nearest neighbor --N3 groups in the most stable conformer of octaazidocubane is 2.29 kJ/mol at the B3LYP/6-31G* level. The relative stability related to the number of azido groups of the title compounds was assessed based on the calculated HOFs, the energy gaps between the frontier orbitals, and the bond orders of the C--N3 and C--C bonds. The predicted detonation velocity of hepta- and octa-derivatives is over 9 km/s, and the detonation pressure of them is ca. 40 GPa or over.  相似文献

A modulated far-infrared laser interferometer which is presently operating on the PDX experiment at Princeton is described. The interferometer geometry permits the characterization of inside D, outside D as well as circular discharges. To achieve this versatility, a titanium corner cube reflector, mounted inside the PDX vacuum vessel is used in conjunction with a second visible wavelength interferometer for vibration corrections. In addition, the use of room temperature quasi-optical Schottky diodes in the far-infrared interferometer is reported. The minimum detectable line average density of the system is 5×1011 cm–3.  相似文献

A novel sulfonated poly(arylene ether) containing triphenylmethane moieties was synthesized by the sulfonation of a designed parent polymer using chlorosulfonic acid as sulfonation agent. The sulfonation took place at the para position of the pendant phenyl rings because of the specially designed parent polymer. The position and degree of sulfonation were characterized by ^1H-NMR and elemental analysis. The sulfonated polymers are highly soluble in common organic solvents, such as dimethylsulfoxide, N,N'-dimethylacetamide, dimethylformamide, ethylene glycol monomethyl ether, and can be readily cast into tough and smooth films from solutions. The films showed good thermal and hydrolysis stabilities. Moreover, Fenton's reagent test revealed that the films exhibited superior stability to oxidation. The proton conductivities of the films were comparable with Nation 117 under same conditions. The membrane electrode assembly (MEA) prepared with the asmade film (706 EW, 100 μm dry thickness) shows better cell performance than Nation 115-MEA in the whole current density range.  相似文献

采用密度泛涵B3LYP方法优化出了OUH分子的各种结构,确定了最稳定构型和离解能,以及它们的谐性力常数,并导出双原子分子UH,UO的Murrell-Sorbie势能函数及其光谱数据。采用多体项展式方法,导出OUH(X^4A')基态分子的分析势能函数,获得OUH(X^4A')体系的势能面,考察了这个势能函数的基本性质,正确地复现出OUH分子的平衡结构特征,结果表明:U+OH,O+UH,H+UO的反应均为无阈能的放热能反应。为进一步探讨OUH体系的反应动力学过程打下了基础。  相似文献

纳米Y2O3/钴基合金激光熔覆层的组织   总被引:6,自引:0,他引:6  
利用5 kW CO2激光器,在Ni基高温合金表面,熔覆纳米稀土氧化物(Y2O3)/钴基合金复合材料,制备了涂层.利用光学显微镜、扫描电镜及透射电镜分析了熔覆层的组织结构.结果表明: 熔覆层的主要相组成为γ-Co,ε-Co,Cr23C6和Y2O3;加入纳米Y2O3,凝固组织由细长的柱状树枝晶转变为较短的树枝晶;纳米Y2O3含量增大至1%时整个断面获得等轴晶组织;纳米Y2O3作为异质形核的核心,细化了组织;纳米Y2O3在熔覆层中分布不均匀,促进了γ-Co向ε-Co的转变;熔覆层的亚结构为堆跺层错.对熔覆层等轴组织形成机制进行了分析.  相似文献

In a previous DFT study a mechanism for the reductive half-reaction of pea seedling amine oxidase (PSAO) was suggested. In many of the suggested steps a lysine at the active site plays an important role. However, this lysine is not found in other amine oxidases. The primary aim of the present DFT study is therefore to investigate alternative mechanisms for those amine oxidases (CAO) where the lysine residue is not present. One of the most important roles suggested for the lysine in PSAO was to protonate the O2-site of TPQ before the critical Cbond;H bond cleavage of the substrate. In the absence of lysine the O2-site of TPQ is now suggested to be protonated by a water ligand on the copper metal complex, in line with experimental suggestions. In other steps the role of lysine is taken over by an asparagine. All results are compared with experimental observations and good agreement is generally found.  相似文献
