On-line determination of organophosphorus pesticides in water by solid-phase microextraction and gas chromatography with thermionic-selective detection

This paper describes the extraction of 49 organophosphorus pesti-cides (OPPs) from water samples using solid-phase microextraction (SPME). Three fibers, including a 15-μm XAD-coated fiber, a 85-μm polyacrylate-coated fiber, and a 30-μm polydimethylsilox-ane-coated fiber (PDMS), were evaluated here. The effects of stirring and the addition of NaCl to the sample were examined for the polyacrylate-coated fiber. The precision of the technique was examined for all three fibers and the extraction kinetics were investigated using the XAD- and polyacrylate-coated fibers. With some exceptions, the XAD- and polyacrylate-coated fibers performed better than the PDMS-coated fiber. The superiority of the XAD-nd polyacrylate-coated fiber. The superiority of the XAD- and polyacrylate-coated fibers over the PDMS-coated fibers can be attribuibuted to the aromatic functionalities of the XAD and the polar functionalities in the polyacrylate. The relatively high percent RSDs indicate that the SPME technique needs to be further refined before it can be used for anything other than screening. A more effective form of agitation than mechanical stirring may be neccessary to reduce variability and achieve a faster equilibrium between the sample and the SPME fiber.

非水介质毛细管电泳电导检测舒血宁片中槲皮素含量

以甲醇：水＝70：30的体系为分离介质，柠檬酸－三（羟甲基）氨基甲烷（Citric acid-Tris)为支持电解质，使用电导检测，对槲皮素及其制剂舒血宁片进行了毛细管电泳分离检测，对电泳介质的种类、浓度、表观pH值以及操作电压和进样时间对分离的影响进行了研讨，并对分离检测机理进行了探讨。建立的测定槲皮素的方法的线性范围为：8．0－160．0mg/L；峰面积的RSD（n=6)为1．7％，检出限为1．0mg/L；样品加标回收率为92．8％－98．2％。     

In-channel indirect amperometric detection of nonelectroactive anions for electrophoresis on a poly(dimethylsiloxane) microchip

In the present paper, we describe a microfluidics-based sensing system for nonelectroactive anions under negative separation electric field by mounting a single carbon fiber disk working electrode (WE) in the end part of a poly(dimethylsiloxane) microchannel. In contrast to work in a positive separation electric field described in our previous paper (Anal. Chem. 2004, 76, 6902-6907), here the electrochemical reduction reaction at the WE is not coupled with the separation high-voltage (HV) system, whereas the electrochemical oxidation reaction at the WE is coupled with the separation HV system. The electroactive indicator is the carbon fiber WE itself but not dissolved oxygen. This provides a convenient and sensitive means for the determination of nonelectroactive anions by amperometry. The influences of separation voltage, detection potential, and the distance between the WE and the separation channel outlet on the response of the detector have been investigated. The present detection mode is successfully used to electrochemically detect F-, Cl-, SO4(2-), CH3COO-, H2PO4-. Based on the preliminary results, a detection limit of 2 microM and a dynamic range up to three orders of magnitude for Cl- could be achieved.     

尿中MDMA和MDA的酰基衍生化-氮磷检测气相色谱分析法

研究了致幻性安非他明类药物3,4-亚甲二氧基甲基安非他明(MDMA)和3,4-亚甲二氧基安非他明(MDA)的乙酰化、三氟乙酰化、五氟丙酰化、七氟丁酰化、二氯乙酰化、一氯二氟乙酰化、五氟苯甲酰化、五氟苯磺酰化和二硝基苯甲酰化的衍生化反应条件,发现除了乙酰化之外所研究的各种衍生化反应均可用5μL酸酐或酰氯在环己烷中于20℃10 m in内完成。乙酰化可用20μL乙酸酐在60℃30 m in内完成。在此基础上建立了尿中MDMA和MDA的各种衍生化的氮磷检测气相色谱(GC/NPD)分析方法。方法操作简便快速,绝大多数方法的检出限低于10μg/L,其中二氯乙酰化、一氯二氟乙酰化、五氟苯甲酰化、五氟苯磺酰化和二硝基苯甲酰化的GC/NPD分析方法未见文献报道。对一些灵敏的方法进行了线性关系和回收率的考察,结果满意。

玻璃基质微流控芯片用于DNA片段的分离和C677T基因突变的快速检测

基于微加工方法,在一般实验条件下,成功地制备了玻璃芯片。利用水溶性聚合物对玻璃通道进行动态修饰,从而抑制了DNA分子的吸附作用,并成功地用于DNA片段的分离和四氢叶酸还原酶基因(MTHFR)中C677T的突变检测。     

Trace analysis of selected benzidine and diaminodiphenylmethane derivates in urine by means of liquid chromatography using precolumn sample preconcentration,UV and electrochemical detection

Summary For the title compounds 4,4-DADPM, MOCA, 3,3-DCB, 4-ADP and 4-ADPA listing on the EPA priority pollutant list, an analytical practicable, reliable, reproducible and sensitive procedure is required. Therefore a new method has been developed for the routine determination of these toxic aromatic amines in urine at the ppb level. The quantitative determination of amines is a suitable procedure of occupationally exposed persons. Urine sample preparation is done using simple liquid-liquid extraction followed by a precolumn enrichment (PRP₁-material; Hamilton). Breakthrough measurements were done using an enrichment column packed with PRP₁ material. The capacities of the studied amines ranged from 21.9mg/g to 96.6mg/g, while influent concentrations differed from 28.3mg/l to 332.0mg/l. The advantages of electrochemical detection regarding to selectivity and sensitivity are clearly indicated in this paper. Separation has been achieved applying reversed-phase-high-performance-liquid chromatography (LiChrosorb RP 18/5m) followed by electrochemical or UV-detection. The detection limits employing an electrochemical detector at a potential of 1 V range from 2.2ng to 12.1ng. UV detection at 254 nm and 280 nm is about 10–100 times less sensitive. Recoveries from spiked water samples at the 5ppb levels were 75% to 96% respectively. The standard deviation of the developed procedure varies from 5.3% to 14%. Day-to-day repeatability is good.     

Structure of hydroxycinnamic acid derivatives established by high-perfomance liquid chromatography with photodiode-array detection

Summary The present paper describes the development of a method for the differentiation of hydroxycinnamic acid derivatives by HPLC with photodiode-array detection. Furthermore spectral data of the compounds under investigation are given. Whereas p-coumaric acid derivatives are distinguishable from caffeic and ferulic acid derivatives by the positions of their spectrum maxima and their convexity interval value, it is not possible to distinguish between caffeic and ferulic acid derivatives because of overlapping spectrum maxima and convexity interval values.
