利用驻波实验研究混沌现象

利用驻波实验演示了混沌现象,并对其进行了理论分析和计算机仿真研究.仿真结果与实验结果都表明:当连接点接近驻波波节处时,振动系统处于混沌运动状态;而当连接点接近驻波波腹处时,系统处于稳定驻波运动状态.     

Fabrication and characterization of sputtered titanium dioxide films

TiO₂ thin films were prepared under various conditions by using a reactive RF sputtering technique. The structural, optical and electrical characteristics of the films have been investigated. All as-deposited films were amorphous. After annealing at T > 673 K, the crystallinity of the observed tetragonal anatase phase appeared improved. The optical band gap, determined by using Tauc plot, has been found to amount to 3.38 ± 0.03 and 3.21 ± 0.03 eV for the direct and indirect transition, respectively. Also the complex optical constants for the wavelength range 300-2500 nm are reported. Using the two-point probe technique, the dark resistivity has been measured as a function of the film thickness, d. The resistivity, ρ, of the samples has been found to decrease markedly with increasing thickness, but only for d < 100 nm. The behaviour of ρd versus d was found to fit properly with the Fuchs and Sondheimer relation with parameters ρ_o = 4.95 × 10⁶ Ω cm and mean free path, l = 310 ± 2 nm. The log ρ versus 1/T curves show three distinct regions with values for the activation energy of 0.03 ± 0.01, 0.17 ± 0.01 and 0.50 ± 0.02 eV, respectively.     

Extension of the range of resonator scanning spectrometer into submillimeter band and some perspectives of its further developments

Extension of the working frequency of modern resonator spectrometers into submillimeter wave range is described. Experimental record of atmospheric absorption spectrum covering 45-370 GHz range is demonstrated for the first time, and measured water vapor J′_{ka′, kc′}-J_{ka, kc} = 5_1,5-4_2,2 at 325 GHz line parameters are presented. For the first time pressure lineshift for the 325-GHz water vapor line is measured. Further extension of working range is discussed. New estimations of physical limits of time needed for measurements of absorption in the whole Backward Wave Oscillator (BWO) range are given for phase continuous synthesizer regime. Basic schemes of fast broadband continuous phase synthesized sources are discussed. Verification of the previous measurements of water vapor 3_1,3-2_2,0 at 183 GHz line parameters is presented. Comparisons with ringdown resonator spectrometers are given.     

Some Results behind Dividend Problems

We consider the basic dividend problem of the compound Poisson model with constant barrierstrategy.Some results concealed behind the dividend problem are made explicit in the present work.Differentmethods and some of which are firstly given in this paper.All these results presented certain direct relationshipbetween some important actuary variables in classical risk theory is also revealed.     

T-C模型中虚光子过程对光场压缩效应的影响

利用全量子理论,研究非旋波近似下TC模型中受激场的压缩效应.结果表明:非旋波近似下,由于虚光场的影响,Q的演化曲线出现了“小锯齿状”,表现为系统的量子噪声,随着ω和n的增大,量子噪声分别减小和增大,虚光子过程使光场的压缩程度明显加深;研究结果还揭示了原子场耦合系数λ及原子间耦合系数g与光场压缩效应的关系. 关键词： T-C模型 非旋波近似 压缩效应 量子噪声     

Neutron emission under particular nonequilibrium conditions from Pd and Ti electrolytically charged with deuterium

Summary We report on neutron emission in palladium and titanium electrolitically charged with deuterium. The detection of neutrons is observed after thermal treatment of the electrode. In the hypothesis that neutrons came from cold fusion processes, we estimate a fusion rate as high as 1.3·10⁻²¹ fusions/deuteron pair/second.

Various methods of synthesizing amides of 2-hydroxy-4-imino-1,4-dihydroquinoline-3-carboxylic acids have been studied. An existence result for a two‐phase Stefan problem arising in metal casting

We present a model arising from the thermal modelling of two metal casting processes. We consider an enthalpy formulation for this two‐phase Stefan problem in a time varying three‐dimensional domain and consider convective heat transfer in the liquid phase. Then, we introduce a weak formulation in a fixed domain, by means of a suitable transformation. Existence of solution is obtained by applying an abstract theorem. The proof of this theorem is done by taking an implicit discretization in time together with a regularization. By passing to the limit in the regularization parameter and in the time step, we obtain the existence of solution of the continuous problem. Copyright © 2005 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.
