This note reports a laser Doppler interferometer for measuring the axial motion of solid targets which have had no prior preparation. Both magnitude and sense of motion are measured to a resolution at least 0.316 μm usinga passive optical system and simple signal processing, making the device relatively cheap to construct. Results indicate that the LDI is capable of good linearity over a substantial range of target amplitudes and has a reasonable degree of immunity from speckle effects. 相似文献

In this study, the galvanic displacement reaction between silver and AuCl4− was carried out to synthesize a series of silver nanowire (Ag NW) @ gold nanoparticle (Au NP) hybrid nanowires. The influence of Ag NW @ Au NP hybrid nanowires on the fluorescence properties of the poly (3‐hexylthiophene) (P3HT) was investigated. The particle sizes of Au NPs on the hybrid nanowires could be adjusted by varying the reaction time and the concentration of the HAuCl4 solution. Furthermore, steady‐state fluorescence measurements showed that the fluorescence intensity of the P3HT films was higher on various Ag NW @ Au NP hybrid nanowires compared to that on a bare silicon substrate. This was due to the increase in the intensity of electromagnetic field by the localized surface plasmon resonances of Au NPs and surface plasmon polaritons of Ag NWs from the hybrid nanowires. The results were further confirmed by the Raman spectra of the P3HT films on different substrates. 相似文献

The percolation theory approach to static and dynamic properties of the single- and two-phase fluid flow in porous media is described. Using percolation cluster scaling laws, one can obtain functional relations between the saturation fraction of a given phase and the capillary pressure, the relative permeability, and the dispersion coefficient, in drainage and imbibition processes. In addition, the scale dependency of the transport coefficient is shown to be an outcome of the fractal nature of pore space and of the random flow pattern of the fluids or contaminant. 相似文献

A competitor‐switched electrochemical sensor based on a generic displacement strategy was designed for DNA detection. In this strategy, an unmodified single‐stranded DNA (cDNA) completely complementary to the target DNA served as the molecular recognition element, while a hairpin DNA (hDNA) labeled with a ferrocene (Fc) and a thiol group at its terminals served as both the competitor element and the probe. This electrochemical sensor was fabricated by self‐assembling a dsDNA onto a gold electrode surface. The dsDNA was pre‐formed through the hybridization of Fc‐labeled hDNA and cDNA with their part complementary sequences. Initially, the labeled ferrocene in the dsDNA was far from surface of the electrode, the electrochemical sensor exhibited a "switch‐off" mode due to unfavorable electron transfer of Fc label. However, in the presence of target DNA, cDNA was released from hDNA by target DNA, the hairpin‐open hDNA restored its original hairpin structure and the ferrocene approached onto the electrode surface, thus the electrochemical sensor exhibited a "switch‐on" mode accompanying with a change in the current response. The experimental results showed that as low as 4.4×10−10 mol/L target DNA could be distinguishingly detected, and this method had obvious advantages such as facile operation, low cost and reagentless procedure. 相似文献

A simple but powerful method for the sensing of peptides in aqueous solution has been developed. The transition‐metal complexes [PdCl2(en)], [{RhCl2Cp*}2], and [{RuCl2(p‐cymene)}2] were combined with six different fluorescent dyes to build a cross‐reactive sensor array. The fluorescence response of the individual sensor units was based on competitive complexation reactions between the peptide analytes and the fluorescent dyes. The collective response of the sensor array in a time‐resolved fashion was used as an input for multivariate analyses. A sensor array comprised of only six metal–dye combinations was able to differentiate ten different dipeptides in buffered aqueous solution at a concentration of 50 μM . Furthermore, the cross‐reactive sensor could be used to obtain information about the identity and the quantity of the pharmacologically interesting dipeptides carnosine and homocarnosine in a complex biological matrix, such as deproteinized human blood serum. The sensor array was also able to sense longer peptides, which was demonstrated by differentiating mixtures of the nonapeptide bradykinin and the decapeptide kallidin. 相似文献

We report a new and facile method for synthesizing 3D platinum nanoflowers (Pt Nfs) on a scratched silicon substrate by electroless galvanic displacement and discuss the applications of the Pt Nfs in surface‐assisted laser desorption/ionization‐mass spectrometry (SALDI‐MS). Surface scratching of n‐type silicon is essential to induce Pt Nf growth on a silicon substrate (to obtain a Pt Nf silicon hybrid plate) by the galvanic displacement reaction. The Pt Nf silicon hybrid plate showed excellent SALDI activity in terms of the efficient generation of protonated molecular ions in the absence of a citrate buffer. We propose that the acidity of the Si? OH moieties on silicon increases because of the electron‐withdrawing nature of the Pt Nfs; hence, proton transfer from the Si? OH groups to the analyte molecules is enhanced, and finally, thermal desorption of the analyte ions from the surface occurs. Signal enhancement was observed for protonated molecular ions produced from a titania nanotube array (TNA) substrate on which Pt nanoparticles had been photochemically deposited. Moreover, surface modification of the Pt Nf silicon hybrid plate by perfluorodecyltrichlorosilane (FDTS) (to obtain an FDTS‐Pt Nf silicon hybrid plate) was found to facilitate soft SALDI of labile compounds. More interestingly, the FDTS‐Pt Nf silicon hybrid plate acts 1) as a high‐affinity substrate for phosphopeptides and 2) as a SALDI substrate. The feasibility of using the FDTS‐Pt Nf silicon hybrid plate for SALDI‐MS has been demonstrated by using a β‐casein digest and various analytes, including small molecules, peptides, phosphopeptides, phospholipids, carbohydrates, and synthetic polymers. The hybridization of Pt Nfs with a scratched silicon substrate has been found to be important for achieving excellent SALDI activity. 相似文献
