In this paper, the peeling behavior and the spalling resistance effect of carbon fiber reinforced polymer (CFRP) sheets externally bonded to bent concrete surfaces are firstly investigated experimentally. Twenty one curved specimens and seven plane specimens are studied in the paper, in which curved specimens with bonded CFRP sheets can simulate the concrete spalling in tunnel, culvert, arch bridge etc., whereas plane specimens with bonded CFRP sheets can simulate the concrete spalling in beam bridge, slab bridge and pedestrian bridge. Three kinds of curved specimens with different radii of curvature are chosen by referring to practical tunnel structures, and plane specimens are used for comparison with curved ones. A peeling load is applied on the FRP sheet by loading a circular steel tube placed into the central notch of beam to debond CFRP sheets from the bent concrete surface, meanwhile full-range load-deflection curves are recorded by a MTS 831.10 Elastomer Test System. Based on the experimental results, a theoretical analysis is also conducted for the specimens. Both theoretical and experimental results show that only two material parameters, the interfacial fracture energy of CFRP-concrete interface and the tensile stiffness of CFRP sheets, are needed for describing the interfacial spalling behavior. It is found that the radius of curvature has remarkable influence on peeling load-deflection curves. The test methods and test results given in the paper are helpful and available for reference to the designer of tunnel strengthening.  相似文献

Based on the large deflection dynamic equations of axisymmetric shallow shells of revolution, the nonlinear forced vibration of a corrugated shallow shell under uniform load is investigated. The nonlinear partial differential equations of shallow shell are reduced to the nonlinear integral-differential equations by the method of Green's function. To solve the integral-differential equations, expansion method is used to obtain Green's function. Then the integral-differential equations are reduced to the form with degenerate core by expanding Green's function as series of characteristic function. Therefore, the integral-differential equations become nonlinear ordinary differential equations with regard to time. The amplitude-frequency response under harmonic force is obtained by considering single mode vibration. As a numerical example, forced vibration phenomena of shallow spherical shells with sinusoidal corrugation are studied. The problems on the non-uniqueness and stability of a two-family fiber- reinforced anisotropic incompressible hyper-elastic square sheet under equibiaxial tensile dead loading are examined within the framework of finite elasticity. For a two-family fiber-reinforced square sheet, which is in-plane symmetric and subjected to the in-plane symmetric tension in dead loading on the edges, three symmetrically deformed configu- rations and six asymmetrically deformed configurations are possible for any values of the loading. Moreover, another four bifurcated asymmetrically deformed configurations are possible for the loading beyond a certain criticM value. The stability of all the solutions is discussed in comparison with the energy of the sheet. It is shown that only one of the symmetric solutions is stable when the loading is less than the critical value. However, this symmetric solution will become unstable when the loading is larger than the critical value, while one of the four bifurcated asymmetric solutions will be stable.  相似文献

The aim of the present paper is to study flow and heat transfer characteristics of a viscous Casson thin film flow over an unsteady stretching sheet subject to variable heat flux in the presence of slip velocity condition and viscous dissipation. The governing equations are partial differential equations. They are reduced to a set of highly nonlinear ordinary differential equations by suitable similarity transformations. The resulting similarity equations are solved numerically with a shooting method. Comparisons with previous works are made, and the results are found to be in excellent agreement. In the present work, the effects of the unsteadiness parameter, the Casson parameter, the Eckert number, the slip velocity parameter, and the Prandtl number on flow and heat transfer characteristics are discussed. Also, the local skin-friction coefficient and the local Nusselt number at the stretching sheet are computed and discussed.  相似文献

Two-dimensional semiconducting materials with moderate band gap and high carrier mobil-ity have a wide range of applications for electronics and optoelectronics in nanoscale. On the basis of first-principles calculations, we perform a comprehensive study on the electronics and optical properties of graphene-like boron phosphide (BP) sheets. The global structure search and first-principles based molecular dynamic simulation indicate that two-dimensional BP sheet has a graphene-like global minimum structure with high stability. BP monolayer is semiconductor with a direct band gap of 1.37 eV, which reduces with the number of layers. Moreover, the band gaps of BP sheets are insensitive to the applied uniaxial strain.= The calculated mobility of electrons in BP monolayer is as high as 106 cm2/(V·s). Lastly, the MoS2/BP van der Waals heterobilayers are investigated for photovoltaic applications, and their power conversion efficiencies are estimated to be in the range of 17.7%-19.7%. This study implies the potential applications of graphene-like BP sheets for electronic and optoelectronic devices in nanoscale.  相似文献

This paper deals with the vibration analysis of 3D structured beams with double sinusoidal pattern. The corrugation depends on different parameters such as orientation, amplitude and wave length of the double sinusoid shape. First, a numerical modeling was built using the Finite Element method. Then, experimental tests of bending vibration were conducted on planar and corrugated beams. These data validated our model and proved that the resonant frequencies generally increase due to corrugated shape. A parametric study demonstrated that the optimal values of the corrugation shape can be found to increase the resonant frequencies.  相似文献

The mode conversion in an s-bend deformed HE11 waveguide is calculated. With the mode mixture at the end of the waveguide, the corresponding far-fields for different waveguide lengths are calculated and compared with measurements.
