It is an aim of the present work to determine the chemical heat flow rate of a reaction without explicitly solving the heat balance equations. Therefore, it is necessary to calculate the heat flow rate directly from the temperature course of an experimentally determined reaction. For this transformation the transfer function of the calorimeter is needed 1 . An isoperibol reaction calorimeter was used for the experiments. With different calibrations and gained transfer functions, it is shown that the chemical heat flow rate can be determined from the temperature course of a reaction. The evaluation is fast and easy to use, which improves automation and prevents possible input errors. 相似文献

We develop tight bounds and a fast parallel algorithm to compute the Markov renewal kernel. Knowledge of the kernel allows us to solve Markov renewal equations numerically to study non-steady state behavior in a finite state Markov renewal process. Computational error and numerical stability for computing the bounds in parallel are discussed using well-known results from numerical analysis. This article introduces a coupled methodology for the numerical solution of geometrically nonlinear static and dynamic problem of thin rectangular plates resting on elastic foundation. Winkler–Pasternak two-parameter foundation model is considered. Dynamic analogues Von Karman equations are used. The governing nonlinear partial differential equations of the plate are discretized in space and time domains using the discrete singular convolution (DSC) and harmonic differential quadrature (HDQ) methods, respectively. Two different realizations of singular kernels such as the regularized Shannon’s kernel (RSK) and Lagrange delta (LD) kernel are selected as singular convolution to illustrate the present DSC algorithm. The analysis provides for both clamped and simply supported plates with immovable inplane boundary conditions at the edges. Various types of dynamic loading, namely a step function, a sinusoidal pulse, an N-wave pulse, and a triangular load are investigated and the results are presented graphically. The effects of Winkler and Pasternak foundation parameters, influence of mass of foundation on the response have been investigated. In addition, the influence of damping on the dynamic analysis has been studied. The accuracy of the proposed DSC–HDQ coupled methodology is demonstrated by the numerical examples. 相似文献

In general, the sup-min convolution has been used for fuzzy arithmetic to analyze fuzzy system reliability, where the reliability of each system component is represented by fuzzy numbers. It is well known that Tω-based addition preserves the shape of L-R type fuzzy numbers. In this paper, we show Tω-based multiplication also preserves the shape of L-R type fuzzy numbers. We then apply Tω-based arithmetic operations to fuzzy system reliability analysis. In fact, we show that we can simplify fuzzy arithmetic operations and even get the exact solutions for L-R type fuzzy system reliability, while others [Singer, Fuzzy Sets Syst. 34 (1990) 145; Cheng and Mon, Fuzzy Sets Syst. 56 (1993) 29; Chen, Fuzzy Sets Syst. 64 (1994) 31] have got the approximate solutions using sup-min convolution for evaluating fuzzy system reliability. 相似文献

We prove non-commutative versions of Wiener's Lemma on absolutely convergent Fourier series (a) for the case of twisted convolution and (b) for rotation algebras.
