The main objective of this study is to utilize two dynamic models: a mathematical model and a simple model, to identify a pick-and-place mechanism (PPM) which is driven by a permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM). In this paper, Hamilton’s principle is employed to derive the mathematical model, which is a nonlinear differential equation, while Newton’s second law is utilized to derive the simple linear model. In system identification, we adopt the real-coded genetic algorithm (RGA) to find not only the parameters of the PPM, but also the PMSM simultaneously. From the identification simulations and experimental results, it is demonstrated that the identification results of the mathematical model present the better matching with the experimental results of the system.  相似文献

A numerical scheme based on the piecewise parabolic method on a local stencil (PPML) is proposed for solving the ideal magnetohydrodynamic (MHD) equations. The method makes use of the conservation of Riemann invariants along the characteristics of the MHD equations. As a result, a local stencil can be used to construct a numerical solution. This approach improves the dissipative properties of the numerical scheme and is convenient in the case of adaptive grids. The basic stages in the design of the scheme are illustrated in the two-dimensional case. The conservation of the solenoidal property of the magnetic field is discussed. The scheme is tested using several typical MHD problems.  相似文献

In this paper, we have numerically solved the multi-fluid problems using an operator-split two-step high-resolution Godunov PPM (parabolic piecewise method) for the flow in complex geometries. By using the front capturing method,the PPM integrator captures the interface in the solution process. The basic multi-fluid integrator is coupled to a Cartesian grid algorithm where a VOF (volume of fluid) representation of the fluid interface is also used. As an application of this method, we test the 2D interracial advection example and simulate an experimental hypervelocity launcher model from Sandia National Laboratories. The computational design of the hypervelocity launcher is also given in the paper.  相似文献

Shear horizontal (SH) ultrasound guided waves are being used in an increasing number of non-destructive testing (NDT) applications. One advantage SH waves have over some wave types, is their ability to propagate around curved surfaces with little energy loss; to understand the geometries around which they could propagate, the wave reflection must be quantified. A 0.83 mm thick aluminium sheet was placed in a bending machine, and a shallow bend was introduced. Periodically-poled magnet (PPM) electromagnetic acoustic transducers (EMATs), for emission and reception of SH waves, were placed on the same side of the bend, so that reflected waves were received. Additional bending of the sheet demonstrated a clear relationship between bend angles and the reflected signal. Models suggest that the reflection is a linear superposition of the reflections from each bend segment, such that sharp turns lead to a larger peak-to-peak amplitude, in part due to increased phase coherence.  相似文献

In this paper we propose the operation of an all-optical logical gate based in a symmetric nonlinear directional coupler (NLDC) operating with a pulse position modulation (PPM). The performance of a symmetric NLDC realizing two-input AND/OR logical functions, which can be applied in transmission and processing of signals in all-optical form in TDM systems, is examined. This integrated symmetric NLDC logical gate operates with two ultrashort soliton light pulses (2 ps), which are modulated in agreement with the technique of pulse position modulation (PPM). Initially, we evaluate the effect resulting of an increment in the PPM coding parameter offset (ε), for the temporal position of the output pulse, considering the anomalous group-velocity dispersion (GVD), nonlinear self phase modulation (SPM) and without loss propagation regime of input pulses, in the cores 1 and 2 of the NLDC. In this situation, we analyze the four possible situations for the two-input logical gate, modulating the 1 and 2 input pulses through temporal displacement and allowing a variation in the coding parameter offset. We can conclude that is possible to get AND/OR logical operations for the cores 1 or 2, without to insert PPM error, since a phase control (Δ?) exists applied in agreement with the logical level of the input pulse in the core 1. Finally we define the truth table, considering the adequate phase difference and coding parameter offset for the stable operation of the AND/OR logical gate based in the symmetric NLDC.  相似文献

 利用磁场有限元法,计算了周期性布置的永磁铁内的磁场;利用流体模型分析了作用在束电子上的力并导出了改进Matheiu函数形式的径向力方程;利用2.5维PIC程序研究了束传输的物理过程。计算发现强流相对论电子束的稳定传输与束等离子体密度、束平衡位置、磁场的强度、磁场周期长度等有关。研究认为利用周期性永磁场导引数kA的环形电子束,使之稳定传输是可能的。  相似文献

The kinetics of a monolayer growth is studied using the two-dimensional lattice gas model by means of the path-probability method (PPM) for nonequilibrium phenomena. Kinetic equations for the combined processes of relaxation (adsorption and desorption) and diffusion are derived analytically and solved for the first time in the square approximation of the PPM. Comparison of the square approximation with the point and pair approximations along with Monte Carlo simulation shows the effect of using a larger basic cluster than in the previous studies. When the square approximation is used, the growth rate results are much improved in both cases with and without diffusion and agree well with the Monte Carlo simulations results, except for very small values of the driving forceL=/k b T where is the chemical potential difference between the vapor and the solid phase. In the range where the agreement is good, there exists a region where the growth rateR is proportional to exp(–c/L with a constantc. This is the feature which is characteristic of two-dimensional nucleation-limited growth.  相似文献

A numerical method based on piecewise parabolic difference approximations is proposed for solving hyperbolic systems of equations. The design of its numerical scheme is based on the conservation of Riemann invariants along the characteristic curves of a system of equations, which makes it possible to discard the four-point interpolation procedure used in the standard piecewise parabolic method (PPM) and to use the data from the previous time level in the reconstruction of the solution inside difference cells. As a result, discontinuous solutions can be accurately represented without adding excessive dissipation. A local stencil is also convenient for computations on adaptive meshes. The new method is compared with PPM by solving test problems for the linear advection equation and the inviscid Burgers equation. The efficiency of the methods is compared in terms of errors in various norms. A technique for solving the gas dynamics equations is described and tested for several one-and two-dimensional problems.  相似文献

HAP-to-satellite, one of the important applications of FSO/OWC technology, which will be deployed in space in the near future. In this paper, we have presented analysis of 2.50 Gbit/s OWC system using PPM modulation schemes and a distance of 2500 km was achieved at BER 10−6 in HAP to satellite links.  相似文献
