新技术改善光纤通讯质量

新一期的《自然一光子学》报道了一种新技术可改善光纤通讯系统中的数据传输速率和发射距离。该技术可减少光纤长距离连接传输中的光学数据信号失真损失量，进而改善在此基础上的全球网络和声音数据的传输质量。与以往利用单个光束编码数据不同，XiangLiu等人采用了两种特制的“相位共轭”光束，这两种光束能有效地起到相互镜像的作用。因为任何失真在这两束光中将表现出相反的形式，     

VCSEL with reticular electrode and larger emitting aperture and its optoelectronic characteristics

The enlargement of the emitting aperture is usually one of the important methods of increasing vertical- cavity surface-emitting laser （VCSEL） optical output power. However, in a VCSEL with a larger aperture, the inhomogeneity in the injected current often causes inhomogeneous or even no emission. To solve this problem and to increase VCSEL output power, as well as to improve its thermal characteristics, we develop a new type of injected VCSEL with a larger aperture and a reticular electrode, where the conventional circular injection electrode of the P side is turned into a reticular one, and the heat sink is on the N side. The tests of the new VCSEL show an improvement in homogeneity in not only the injected current but also the emission intensity. The optical output power is also considerably increased, and the device optoelectronic performance is improved.     

二代近贴微通道板（MCP）电子清刷技术

主要介绍二代近贴微光管MCP了清刷技术研究结果，结合质谱分析对MCP释放的残气对阴极光电发射产生的影响进行讨论。     

PB-1型窄脉冲压电薄膜可逆式换能器

本文著者研制成PB-1型PVDF可逆式压电换能器。它的通频带较宽,中心频率500—900KHz,通带Q值1.5,发送电压响应[级]148.9dB(re:1μPa/V),灵敏度-210dB(re:1V/μPa)。在水中声脉冲持续时间7—10μs,并有足够的声功率输出,电声效率约10％。 本文介绍了该换能器的结构、理论分析、测量结果及应用效果。证明了理论与实验的一致性。可供电声、水声、超声等其它PVDF传感器设计时参考。     

太阳宇宙线耀斑中的甚高能粒子发射

对1972年8月在海拔3200m高山上利用大型云室组研究甚高能核作用的数据,进行了日计数率随时间变化的分析研究,发现在8月4日和8月7日两个大的太阳质子耀斑期间,事例计数率高出邻近期间日平均计数率的标准偏差三倍.其相应的初级宇宙线能量为10¹³eV左右.     

用于短波长FEL的光阴极微波电子枪设计研究

高增益、短波长自由电子激光器需要发射度低、峰值电流高的短脉冲电子束流.采用发射度补偿技术,设计了一台S波段、一个半腔体的光阴极微波电子枪以用于建议中的SDUV-FEL装置.POISSON,SUPERFISH和PARMELA程序的计算表明:当微脉冲电量为2nC时,这种设计能产生ε_n,rms=2.3π·mm·mrad、E_k=4.8MeV的电子束流.报道了该枪的设计考虑和模拟结果.     

X-Ray Emission from Zr, Mo, In and Pb Targets Bombarded by Slow Highly Charged Ar^q＋（q = 13, 14, 15, 16） Ions

We study the L x-ray emission from Zr, Mo and In targets and M x-ray emission from Pb target under bombardment of low energy Ar^q (q = 13, 14, 15, 16) ions. The relative x-ray yields were measured in the projectile kinetic energy range 210-360 keV. It is found that the relative x-ray yields from Zr, Mo and Pb targets increase with the increasing projectile kinetic energy for Ar^14 and Ar^16 projectiles and depend on the potential energy of the projectile remarkably.
