Bis(crown-6)calix[4]arene/Cs+ Coordination Chemistry in NPME Solution

NMR spectroscopy was used to show that the symmetry of the crown ether bis(C6) is increased by an increase of the alkali metal cation radius. The EXAFS spectrum demonstrates that a seven oxygen atom coordinated configuration is present in the bis(C6)/Cs⁺/NPME system, where NPME denotes o-nitrophenylmethyl ether. The seventh oxygen in this complex, besides the six crown ether oxygens of bis(C6), may come either from a H₂O molecule or an NO₃⁻ ion.

THE SOLID STATE REACTIONS AND TRANSITIONS IN HIGH POLYMERIC SYSTEMS Ⅲ. THE BULK CRYSTALLIZATION OF LANTHANIDECATALYTICALLY POLYMERIZED POLYDIENES

For the mechanism of isothermal bulk crystallization of high polymers, beside the nucleation and growth steps, the unimpingement of growing crystal aggregates should be taken into account for the modification of the Avrami equation. Starting from Poisson distribution function of growing crystal aggregates, the probability of the unimpinging ones should be P(0)+P(1), then the Q-modified Avrami equation thus derived can be expressed aswhere V0 represents the volume fraction of crystal aggregates at crystallization time t at a given temperature, while the exponent n on t relates to the mode of nucleation and growth, and K_q is the corresponding shape factor. This Q-modified one is verified satisfactory by the isothermal bulk crystallization of lanthanidecatalytically polymerized polybutadiene (Ln-PB), polyisoprene (Ln-PIR) and their copolymers (LnPB/IR). Furthermore, the proposed mechanism is well identified by the change of morphological state during the course of crystallization of the corresponding east film of Ln-PB TR (92/8) at-60°(Fig. 1).Upon examination of the influence of the number of entanglement on crystallization rate, it reveals the existence of two stages of entanglementation, the primary and the secondary ones (Fig. 19)The equation for dependence of molecular weight and entanglement on bulk crystallization rate has been derived as Eq. 13 or 18 for Ln-PB, and verified by the experimental rate data of well fractionated Ln-PB samples crystallized at -9.1 to -15℃(Fig.20).     

Cation recognition by new diester- and diamide-calix[4]arenediquinones and a diamide-benzo-15-crown-5-calix[4]arene

The synthesis, metal, ammonium and alkyl ammonium cation coordination chemistry and electrochemical recognition studies of new diester-and diamide-calix[4]arenediquinone receptors are described. In addition the synthesis and coordination properties of a novel diamide benzo-15-crown-5-calix[4]arene molecule is reported.This paper is dedicated to the commemorative issue on the 50th anniversary of calixarenes.     

铁系元素冠醚配合物的研究——Ⅱ. 铁系氯化物与4''-碘苯并-15-冠-5固态配合物的合成与性质

对碱金属、希土与苯并-15-冠-5冠醚配合物的研究指出,4′-取代单苯并冠醚的阳离子配合物的稳定性及其他性质,受取代基电子效应的影响,给电性取代基可增加芳醚氧原子上的电子密度,改变冠氧的极性,从而影响其配位能力,扩大希土配合物之间性质上的差别,达到分离的目的。对于铁系元素,文献报导甚少。我们继Ⅰ之后,又合成了三氯化铁水合物与4′-碘苯并-15-冠-5固态配合物,并研究了其性质。     

低分子量壳聚糖的Sm3+配合物的合成和表征

壳聚糖经双氧水降解制得低分子量壳聚糖,低分子量壳聚糖与Sm3 反应制得配合物。分别用红外、紫外、荧光等测试手段对低分子量壳聚糖及其与Sm3 形成的配合物的结构和性能进行了表征。结果表明,低分子量壳聚糖与Sm3 发生了螯合作用,形成了较稳定的配合物。     

Formation and Crystal Structure of Stable Five‐coordinate Diorgano Cobalt(III) Complexes

The mer‐octahedral complexes(2‐carbonyl)(4‐Me)(6‐tBu)phenolato[C,O]hydridotris(trimethylphosphine)cobalt(III) ( 1 ) or ‐(1‐carbonyl)(2‐oxo)(1,2‐diphenylethene)[C,O]hydridotris(trimethylphosphine)cobalt(III) ( 2 ) via formal insertion of propynoic acid ethyl ester into Co‐H functions afford pentacoordinate vinylcobalt(III) 3 and 4 , respectively, that are diamagnetic and attain a square pyramidal structure as exemplified by an X‐ray diffraction analysis of 3 .
