Substitution-inert metal complexes, [Co(edda)(H2O)2]+, (Co(edda)(en)]+, [Co(edda)(dmen)]+, [Co(en)2-(gly)]2+, [Co(en)2(acac)]2+, and [Co(trien)(gly)]2+ in their nitrate salt solutions are used as eluents in nonsuppressed cation chromatography (where edda = ethylenediamine-N,N′-diacetic acid, en = ethylenediamine, dmen = N,N′-dime-thylethylenediamine, gly = glycine, acac = acetylacetone, and trien = triethylenetetraamine). It is found that all the mono- and di-valent charged complexes can be used to separate alkali and alkaline earth metal cations, respectively. The separations for monovalent cations are sometimes comparable to those using ultrapure HNO3 solutions. However, the divalent Ca2+ and Sr2+ ions cannot be resolved using the metal complex eluents. On the other hand, a selected, direct non-suppressed IC separation of zinc(II) and cadmium(II) ions is demonstrated for the first time using a substitution-inert metal complex eluent and a conductivity detector. Comparisons of these eluents with those reported previously, i. e. HNO3 and ethylenediammonium salt solution are made and explanations are proposed to account for the different selectivities observed where possible. The future development of this technique is also briefly discussed.  相似文献

A barium-containing crown ether bridged chiral heterotrinuclear salen Zn(II) complex BaZn2L(ClO4)2, where L is a folded dinuclear chiral (R,R)-salen ligand, has been synthesized and characterized by elemental analysis, 1H NMR, UV-vis, IR, circular dichroism (CD) spectra, and mass spectra. As a folded dinuclear chiral host, its recognition with achiral guests (imidazole derivatives), rigid bidentate guest (1,4-diazobicyclo[2,2,2]octane, DABCO) and chiral guests (amino acid methyl esters) was investigated by means of UV-vis spectrophotometric titration, CD spectra. The association constants of D-amino acid methyl esters are found to be higher than those of their L-enantiomer. The sandwich-type binding of BaZn2L(ClO4)2-DABCO supramolecular assembly was specially studied via 1H NMR titration and 1H ROESY. To understand the recognition on molecular level, density functional theory (DFT) calculations on B3LYP/LanL2DZ were performed on the minimal energy conformations of host, guests, and host-guest complexes. The minimal energy conformations were obtained by molecular mechanics (MM) optimization and molecular dynamics (MD) simulation. The results of single point energy, HOMO energy, and charges transfer were analyzed. The results of theoretical calculations are in good agreement with the experimental data.  相似文献

1H and 15N NMR spectra of 10 complexes exhibiting strong OHN hydrogen bonds formed by 15N-labeled collidine and different proton donors, partially deuterated in mobile proton sites, have been observed by low-temperature NMR spectroscopy using a low-freezing CDF3/CDF2Cl mixture as polar aprotic solvent. The following proton donors have been used: HCl, formic acid, acetic acid, various substituted benzoic acids and HBF4. The slow hydrogen bond exchange regime could be reached below 140 K, which allowed us to resolve 15N signal splittings due to H/D isotopic substitution. The valence bond order model is used to link the observed NMR parameters to hydrogen bond geometries. The results are compared to those obtained previously [Magn. Reson. Chem. 39 (2001) S18] for the same complexes in the organic solids. The increase of the dielectric constant from the organic solids to the solution (30 at 130 K) leads to a change of the hydrogen bond geometries along the geometric correlation line towards the zwitterionic structures, where the proton is partially transferred from oxygen to nitrogen. Whereas the changes of spectroscopic and, hence, geometric parameters are small for the systems which are already zwitterionic in the solid state, large changes are observed for molecular complexes which exhibit almost a full proton transfer from oxygen to nitrogen in the polar liquid solvent.  相似文献

A novel one-dimensional manganese(Ⅱ) complex containing nitronyl nitroxide radical [Mn2(IM2-py)2(Ac)2((μ1.1-N3)(μ1,3-N3) . EtOH]n was synthesized and characterized structurally and magnetically. It crystallizes in the monoclinic space group p21/n. Each Mn(Ⅱ) ion is six-coordinated in a distorted octahedral environment. The two N atoms of the nitronyl nitroxide radical and the two O atoms of acetate ligands are in the equatorial plane, whereas the two different azido bridging ligands are in trans axial position. Mn(Ⅱ) ions are linked by nitrogen atom of μ1,1-azido and oxygen atoms of two carboxy groups to form a Mn-Mn unit. Mn-Mn units are linked by azido ligands through u1,3 bridging style to form a one-dimensional chain. The compound is connected by the coordination bonds,π-π interactions and hydrogen bonds as a three-dimensional structure. Magnetic susceptibility data support that there are stronger antiferromagnetic interactions between the radical and Mn(Ⅱ) ion, weak antiferromagnetic inter  相似文献

A fast living radical polymerization of methyl methacrylate (MMA) proceeded with the (MMA)2? Cl/Ru(Ind)Cl(PPh3)2 initiating system in the presence of n‐Bu2NH as an additive [where (MMA)2? Cl is dimethyl 2‐chloro‐2,4,4‐trimethyl glutarate]. The polymerization reached 94% conversion in 5 h to give polymers with controlled number‐average molecular weights (Mn's) in direct proportion to the monomer conversion and narrow molecular weight distributions [MWDs; weight‐average molecular weight/number‐average molecular weight (Mw/Mn) ≤ 1.2]. A poly(methyl methacrylate) with a high molecular weight (Mn ~ 105) and narrow MWD (Mw/Mn ≤ 1.2) was obtained with the system within 10 h. A similarly fast but slightly slower living radical polymerization was possible with n‐Bu3N, whereas n‐BuNH2 resulted in a very fast (93% conversion in 2.5 h) and uncontrolled polymerization. These added amines increased the catalytic activity through some interaction such as coordination to the ruthenium center. © 2002 John Wiley & Sons, Inc. 合成了Eu(TTA)3L1(Ⅰ)和[Eu(TTA)32L2(Ⅱ)二种新的铕(Ⅲ)三元配合物(TTA=噻吩甲酰三氟丙酮一价阴离子、L1=4,5-二氮芴-9-酮、L2=4,5-二氮芴-9-酮连氮)。用元素分析、IR、UV和溶液荧光光谱对配合物进行了表征。探讨了溶剂对Eu(Ⅲ)三元配合物荧光光谱的影响,发现在CH3CN中Eu(Ⅲ)三元配合物发光效果最好,而溶剂DMF会使配合物荧光减弱。  相似文献

The title polymeric complex of Cu(II) and Cd(II) bridged by thiocyanate, Cu(en)2[Cd(SCN)3]2, has been prepared and its structure determined by X-ray diffraction (XRD) methods. The crystal structure reveals that the Cu(II) atom is in an elongated octahedral coordination formed by two SCN anions and two en molecules. The Cd(II) atom is in a distorted octahedral coordination formed by six bridging SCN anions. Two different bridging thiocyanate anions exist in the complex. Both 1,1--SCN and 1,3--SCN anion act a role of bridge ligand and link Cu(II), Cd(II) atoms, and adjacent Cd(II). Cd(II) atoms form the three-dimensional (3-D) network polymeric structure. The IR and UV-Vis spectra have also been investigated.  相似文献

Conductometric titration of poly(N-isopropylacrylamide) (polyNIPAM) with sodium dodecyl sulfate (SDS) gave two apparent transitions labeled C1 and C2. The C1 transition was independent of polyNIPAM concentration in the 0.05–0.3 wt % range, whereas C2 was proportional to the polymer concentration. C1 corresponded to the onset of binding of surfactant with polymer. Arguments based on a simple mass action model for micellization are presented to show that C2, the second transition, is not due to any simple explanation such as being the point above which only free micelles are formed with surfactant addition. The cloud point of polyNIPAM increased with the amount of bound surfactant. This was attributed to electrostatic contribution of bound sulfate groups to the increased solubility of polyNIPAM. © 1993 John Wiley & Sons, Inc.  相似文献
