The exact Fermi potential yielding the Hartree–Fock electron density from orbital‐free density functional theory

The exact expression for the Fermi potential yielding the Hartree–Fock electron density within an orbital‐free density functional formalism is derived. The Fermi potential, which is defined as that part of the potential that depends on the particles’ nature, is in this context given as the sum of the Pauli potential and the exchange potential. The exact exchange potential for an orbital‐free density functional formalism is shown to be the Slater potential.     

EXACT AUGMENTED LAGRANGIAN FUNCTION FOR NONLINEAR PROGRAMMING PROBLEMS WITH INEQUALITY CONSTRAINTS

An exact augmented Lagrangian function for the nonlinear nonconvex programming problems with inequality constraints was discussed. Under suitable hypotheses, the relationship was established between the local unconstrained minimizers of the augmented Lagrangian function on the space of problem variables and the local minimizers of the original constrained problem. Furthermore, under some assumptions, the relationship was also established between the global solutions of the augmented Lagrangian function on some compact subset of the space of problem variables and the global solutions of the constrained problem. Therefore, from the theoretical point of view, a solution of the inequality constrained problem and the corresponding values of the Lagrange multipliers can be found by the well-known method of multipliers which resort to the unconstrained minimization of the augmented Lagrangian function presented.     

The Opposing Effect of Viscous Dissipation Allows for a Parallel Free Convection Boundary-Layer Flow Along a Cold Vertical Flat Plate

External free convection boundary-layer flows are usually treated by neglecting the effect of viscous dissipation. This assumption always results in a non-parallel flow, besides a strong parallel component also a weak transversal component of the (steady) velocity field occurs. The present paper shows, however, that the weak opposing effect of the buoyancy forces due to heat release by viscous dissipation, can give rise along a cold vertical plate adjacent to a fluid saturated porous medium to a strictly parallel steady free convection flow. This boundary-layer flow is described by an algebraically decaying exact analytical solution of the basic balance equations.     

Soliton excitations and chaotic patterns for the (2+1)-dimensional Boiti-Leon-Pempinelli system

By improved projective equation approach and a linear variable separation approach, a new family of exact solutions of the (2+1)-dimensional Boiti-Leon-Pempinelli (BLP) system is derived. Based on the derived solitary wave solution, some dromion and solitoff excitations and chaotic behaviours are investigated.

本文为了获得非线性发展方程的无穷序列新精确解,进一步研究获得了第二种椭圆方程的几类新型解和Bäcklund变换.在此基础上,借助符号计算系统Mathematica,用带强迫项变系数组合KdV方程、(2+1)维和(3+1)维变系数Zakharov-Kuznetsov 方程为应用实例,构造了无穷序列新精确解.这里包括无穷序列Jacobi 椭圆函数光滑孤立子解、无穷序列Jacobi椭圆函数紧孤立子解、无穷序列三角函数紧孤立子解和无穷序列尖峰孤立子解. 关键词： 第二种椭圆方程 Bä cklund 变换 变系数非线性发展方程 无穷序列新精确解     

sine-Gordon型方程的无穷序列新精确解

为了获得sine-Gordon型方程的无穷序列精确解,给出三角函数型辅助方程和双曲函数型辅助方程及其Bäcklund变换和解的非线性叠加公式,借助符号计算系统Mathematica,构造了sine-Gordon方程、mKdV-sine-Gordon方程、(n+1)维双sine-Gordon方程和sinh-Gordon方程的无穷序列新精确解.其中包括无穷序列三角函数解、无穷序列双曲函数解、无穷序列Jacobi椭圆函数解和无穷序列复合型解. 关键词： sine-Gordon型方程 解的非线性叠加公式 辅助方程 无穷序列精确解     

n模耦合谐振子量子系统的精确波函数

利用不变本征算符法研究了n模耦合谐振子量子系统的简正频率及其对应的简正坐标与共轭动量,并对系统的哈密顿量进行了退耦合,得到了系统的明显的简正频率解析解.推导出坐标表象中系统的精确波函数的解析解.并对不同情形的耦合系数进行了讨论,认识到n模动量耦合谐振子体系和n模坐标耦合谐振子体系是本文所研究的体系的特例.     

Symmetry group analysis and similarity solutions for the (2+1)‐dimensional coupled Burger's system

Symmetry group analysis and similarity reduction of nonlinear system of coupled Burger equations in the form of nonlinear partial differential equation are analyzed via symmetry method. The symmetry method has led to similarity reductions of this equation to solvable form to third‐order partial differential equation. The infinitesimal, similarity variables, dependent variables, and reduction have been tabulated. The search for solutions of these systems by using the improved tanh method has yielded certain exact solutions expressed by rational functions. Exact and analytical solutions for a nonlinear sigma model

We consider wave solutions to nonlinear sigma models in n dimensions. First, we reduce the system of governing PDEs into a system of ODEs through a traveling wave assumption. Under a new transform, we then reduce this system into a single nonlinear ODE. Making use of the method of homotopy analysis, we are able to construct approximate analytical solutions to this nonlinear ODE. We apply two distinct auxiliary linear operators and show that one of these permits solutions with lower residual error than the other. This demonstrates the effectiveness of properly selecting the auxiliary linear operator when performing homotopy analysis of a nonlinear problem. From here, we then obtain residual error‐minimizing values of the convergence control parameter. We find that properly selecting the convergence control parameter makes a drastic difference in the magnitude of the residual error. Together, appropriate selection of the auxiliary linear operator and of the convergence control parameter is shown to allow approximate solutions that quickly converge to the true solution, which means that few terms are needed in the construction of such solution. APPROXIMATION BY COMPLEX SZASZ-DURRMEYER OPERATORS IN COMPACT DISKS

In the present paper, we deal with the complex Szasz-Durrmeyer operators and study Voronovskaja type results with quantitative estimates for these operators attached to analytic functions of exponential growth on compact disks. Also, the exact order of approximation is found.
