Solution 1H and 13C NMR of new chiral 1,4‐oxazepinium heterocycles and their intermediates from the reaction of 2,4‐pentanedione with α‐L‐amino acids and (R)‐(—)‐2‐phenylglycinol

The reaction of 2,4‐pentanedione ( 1 ) with (R)‐(—)‐2‐phenylglycine methyl ester ( 2 ), (R)‐(—)‐2‐phenylglycinol ( 3 ) and the proteinogenic amino acids (2S,3R)‐(—)‐2‐amino‐3‐hydroxybutyric acid (L ‐threonine) ( 4 ) and (R)‐(—)‐2‐amino‐3‐mercaptopropionic acid (L ‐cysteine) ( 5 ) methyl esters was investigated. The corresponding enamines 6 , 7 and 8 were isolated and characterized spectroscopically whereas 9 , which is unstable, was transformed in situ into 13 . Treatment of 7 , 8 and 9 with boron trifluoride etherate afforded the new [1,4]oxazepines 10 , 11 and [1,4]thiazepine ( 12 ) as their BF₃O^? salts. The structures of the enamines and their corresponding seven‐membered heterocycles were assessed by 1D and 2D NMR spectroscopy. 修饰聚合物液-固亲和萃取体系纯化大豆中的组氨酸

聚乙二醇(PEG)6000经亚氨基二乙酸(IDA)修饰后和CuSO4反应,形成PEG修饰聚合物PEG-(IDA-Cu)2 ,与吐温80、磷酸盐混合,构成液-固亲和萃取体系,直接从大豆蛋白匀浆中提取氨基酸.选定萃取条件为磷酸盐摩尔比n(K2HPO4)∶n(NaH2PO4)为4.8∶1,体系pH值 7.70,总盐浓度为1.60 mol·L-1;吐温80的体积分数为10.5%.结果表明该体系对大豆蛋白匀浆中氨基酸的二次萃取率为66.5%,用离子交换技术后继处理,得纯度较高的组氨酸.

Determination of the relative configuration of vic-amino alcohols

A large set of syn- and anti-1,2-amino alcohols has been synthesized. Upon comparison of the CH?O and CH?N ¹H NMR shifts a general trend has been observed, making it possible to determine the relative configuration of 1,2-amino alcohols without derivatization or shift reagents.     

Cyclo[(6-amino-6-deoxy-d-galactonic acid)4]: a new class of carbopeptoid-cyclodextrin

The formation of the 28-membered ring cyclo[(6-amino-6-deoxy-d-galactonic acid)₄] by cyclisation of a protected open chain fully hydroxylated nylon 6 linear tetramer in modest yield provides the first example of a new class of carbopeptoid-cyclodextrin.

Hypothesis testing for the generalized multivariate modified Bessel model

In this paper, we consider hypothesis testing problems in which the involved samples are drawn from generalized multivariate modified Bessel populations. This is a much more general distribution that includes both the multivariate normal and multivariate-t distributions as special cases. We derive the distribution of the Hotelling's T²-statistic for both the one- and two-sample problems, as well as the distribution of the Scheffe's T²-statistic for the Behrens–Fisher problem. In all cases, the non-null distribution of the corresponding F-statistic follows a new distribution which we introduce as the non-central F-Bessel distribution. Some statistical properties of this distribution are studied. Furthermore, this distribution was utilized to perform some power calculations for tests of means for different models which are special cases of the generalized multivariate modified Bessel distribution, and the results compared with those obtained under the multivariate normal case. Under the null hypothesis, however, the non-central F-Bessel distribution reduces to the central F-distribution obtained under the classical normal model.     

The modified characteristic finite difference fractional steps method for the coupled system of fluid dynamics in porous media and its analysis

For the coupled system of multilayer fluid dynamics in porous media, the modified characteristic finite difference fractional steps method applicable to parallel arithmetic is put forward and two‐dimensional and three‐dimensional schemes are used to form a complete set. Some techniques, such as calculus of variations, energy method, piecewise biquadratic interpolation, multiplicative commutation rule of difference operators, decomposition of high order difference operators and prior estimates are adopted. Optimal order estimates in L² norm are derived to determine the error in the approximate solution. This method has already been applied to the numerical simulation of multilayer fluid dynamics in porous media. © 2003 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. 固定化单宁对酒类营养成分的吸附性能研究

采用固定化单宁对酒中可能存在的营养成分蛋白质、氨基酸、糖类、有机酸、乙醇和铁离子等进行吸咐试验。结果表明：固定化单宁对不同营养成分的吸附率差别明显，它通过氢键和疏水作用对蛋白质有较大的吸附率，通过多个酚羟基与中心铁离子形成螯合物而对其有较大的吸附率，对氨基酸、糖、有机酸和乙醇等营养成分或风味物质吸附率不大，固定化单宁可以作为一种较为理想的酒类处理剂。     

In situ Synthesis of Oligonucleotides on Plasma Treated Polypropylene Microporous Membrane

Polypropylene microporous membranes were treated with plasma in a mixture of N2 and H2 (1:2 in volume). Attenuated total reflectance Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (ATR-FTIR), X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) and ultra-violet (UV) spectra demonstrated the success of grafting amino groups. The density of the polar amino groups on the membrane surface is about 0.59 μmol/cm^2. The as-treated membranes were successively applied to the in situ synthesis of oligonucleotides and an average coupling yield was more than 98%. The surface feature of the treated membrane is suggested to be responsible for its advantage over a glass slide.
