脂肪胺结构与密度和折光指数关系的探讨

本文用拓扑方法探讨了脂肪胺的密度和折光指数与其分子结构之间的关系。提出一个既适用于密度又适用于折光指数的定量关系。应用这一定量关系, 不仅能够描述脂肪胺密度和折光指数的变化规律。预测脂肪胺的密度和折光指数,而且能够合理表征物质结构与性能之间的关系。     

Isotachophoretic separation of alkylsulfonates and determination of methanesulfonic acid as main component and as trace component in pharmaceutical drug substances

Alkylsulfonates from methanesulfonic acid to decanesulfonic acid were separated by isotachophoresis with conductivity detection in a common electrolyte system at pH 4.8. The electrolyte system consisted of 10 mM HCl buffered with epsilon-aminocaproic acid (pH 4.8) and 0.1% methylhydroxyethylcellulose (MHEC) acting as the leading electrolyte. The terminating electrolyte was 20 mM caproic acid also containing 0.05% MHEC. Current settings of 250 microA for the first and 50 microA for the second capillary were applied. On one hand, the method was applied to the determination of the content of methanesulfonate as the salt forming agent (mesilate) in a recently registered drug substance. The results obtained by ITP were compared with an orthogonal titration method. On the other hand, due to the column-coupling configuration of the electrophoretic instrument, the method could be extended to the trace determination in the ppm range in order to monitor methanesulfonic acid as an impurity in a drug substance. The validation confirmed the linearity of the method between 1 and 10 mg/l, limits of detection and quantification below 1 mg/l, recovery rates from 92.4 to 95.4%, and repeatability with a R.S.D. of 3.8% (six runs with a 4 mg/l spiked sample). Finally, three batches of a newly produced drug substance could be checked for methanesulfonic acid giving results of below 0.0014% (concentration related to the drug substance).

Bis(fluoroalkyl)acrylic and methacrylic phosphate monomers, their polymers and some of their properties

Ten fluoromonomers of structure (R_FO)₂P(O)OCH₂CH₂OC(O)CRCH₂ were made in 30-64% yield by treating the chloridates (R_FO)₂P(O)Cl with HOCH₂CH₂OC(O)CRCH₂ in chloroform in the presence of triethylamine [R_F=CF₃CH₂, C₂F₅CH₂, C₃F₇CH₂, C₄F₉CH₂, C₄F₉CH₂CH₂ or C₆F₁₃CH₂CH₂; R  H or Me]. The chloromonomer (CCl₃CH₂O)₂P(O)OCH₂CH₂OC(O)CHCH₂ was obtained analogously in 29% yield. Polymerisation of the acrylate monomers, but not the methacrylate monomers, could be effected using α-azoisobutyronitrile as a radical initiator. Acrylic polymers having CF₃CH₂O, CCl₃CH₂O and C₆F₁₃CH₂CH₂O side-chains were obtained as translucent rubbers. Specimens of cotton fabric were treated with solutions of the polymers, and average water and oil repellency ratings measured. Fabric coated with the polymer with the C₆F₁₃CH₂CH₂O side-chain afforded protection from penetration of the test liquids. Treated fabrics were subjected to the limiting oxygen index (LOI) test according to BS EN ISO 4589-2 (1999): this test determines the point at which a material just burns in a volumetric flow of oxygen and nitrogen. The treated fabrics were more fire-resistant (LOI 22-29%) than the untreated fabric (LOI 18%). Fabric coated with the CCl₃CH₂O-based polymer can be considered fire-retardant (LOI 29%). The fluoromonomers were tested for anti-acetylcholinesterase activity and were found to be poor enzyme inhibitors; they are predicted to possess low acute toxicity.     

Chemical properties ofN-(amidomethyl)- andN-(imidomethyl)glycine derivatives

Photovoltaic polymers based on difluoroqinoxaline units with deep HOMO levels

We report the synthesis of low bandgap polymers with a difluoroquinoxaline unit by Stille polymerization for use in polymer solar cells (PSCs). A new series of copolymers with 2,3‐didodecyl‐6,7‐difluoro quinoxaline as the electron‐deficient unit and alkyloxybenzo[1,2‐b:4,5‐b′]dithiophene and thiophene as the electron‐rich unit were synthesized. The photovoltaic properties of the devices based on the synthesized polymers revealed that the fluorine atoms at the quinoxaline units aid in decreasing the highest occupied molecular orbital (HOMO) energy levels; this in turn increased the open circuit voltage of the devices. The polymers with long alkyl chains exhibited good solubility that increased their molecular weight, but the power conversion efficiency was low. Efficient polymer solar cells were fabricated by blending the synthesized copolymers with PC₇₁BM, and the PCE increased up to 5.11% under 100 mW cm⁻² AM 1.5 illumination. These results demonstrate that the importance of having a control polymer to be synthesized and characterized side by side with the fluorine analogues. © 2018 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. J. Polym. A Rapid and Facile Esterification of Na-Carboxylates with Alkyl Halides Promoted by the Synergy of the Combined Use of DMSO and an Ionic Liquid Under Ambient Conditions

The synergy of the combined use of DMSO and an ionic liquid viz. (bbim)⁺Br^? has brought about a rapid and efficient esterification of sodium carboxylates with acyl and alkyl halides under ambient conditions in excellent isolated yields (90–95%) in short reaction times (12–40 min).     

Eosin Y (EY) Photoredox‐Catalyzed Sulfonylation of Alkenes: Scope and Mechanism

Alkyl‐ and aryl vinyl sulfones were obtained by eosin Y (EY)‐mediated visible‐light photooxidation of sulfinate salts and the reaction of the resulting S‐centered radicals with alkenes. Optimized reaction conditions, the sulfinate and alkene scope, and X‐ray structural analyses of several reaction products are provided. A detailed spectroscopic study explains the reaction mechanism, which proceeds through the EY radical cation as key intermediate oxidizing the sulfinate salts.

Bio‐based comb‐like copolymers derived from alkyl 10‐undecenoates and maleic anhydride

In this article, 10‐undecenoic acid, based on castor oil, was used a raw material for the synthesis of alternating copolymers. ω‐Unsaturated fatty esters as alkyl 10‐undecenoates were prepared by the esterification reaction of 10‐undecenoic acid with alkyl alcohol. A series of comb‐like copolymers were synthesized by free radical polymerization from maleic anhydride and alkyl 10‐undecenoates copolymers with different length of alkyl side chains in a toluene solution. These copolymers were investigated by ¹H and ¹³C nuclear magnetic resonance, Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, gel permeation chromatography, thermogravimetric analysis, differential scanning calorimetry (DSC). The copolymers were obtained in a low molecular weight in a range 3370–12,240 g mol⁻¹ and their structural characterization indicated the formation of alternating copolymers. DSC characterization revealed that these comb‐like copolymers showed amorphous to semicrystalline behavior by increasing the length of side chains. The bio‐based comb‐like copolymers allow for the development of new polymeric materials for several applications. © 2018 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. J. Polym. Sci., Part A: Polym.
