This study introduces a rollon–rolloff waste collection vehicle routing problem involving large containers that accumulate huge amounts of garbage at construction sites and shopping districts. In this problem, tractors move one container at a time between customer locations, a depot, disposal facilities, and container storage yards. The complicated constraints discussed in this study arise from having multiple disposal facilities, multiple container storage yards, seven service types of customer demands, different time windows for customer demands and facilities, various types and sizes of containers, and the lunch break of tractor drivers. In addition, real-world issues, such as changing service types, multiple demands at a customer’s location, and tractors with different work schedules, are dealt with. This study proposes a large neighborhood search based iterative heuristic approach consisting of several algorithms for the problem. The effectiveness of the proposed methods is demonstrated by computational experiments using benchmark data, some instances of which are derived from real-world problems. 相似文献

For environmental reasons, as well as the dwindling source of petroleum, a new class of environmentally acceptable and renewable biolubricants based on plant oils is available. Even though plant oils possess excellent lubricant-related properties, there are some concerns about using it as biolubricant base oil. In this study we present a series of structures derived from oleic acid to be used as synthetic biolubricant basestocks. Measuring of pour point (PP), flash point, viscosity index (VI), oxidation onset temperature (OT) and signal maximum temperature (SMT) was carried out for each compound. Furthermore, the friction and wear properties were measured using a high-frequency reciprocating rig (HFRR). The resulting product structures were confirmed by NMR and FTIR spectroscopic analysis. The results showed that ethylhexyl 9-(octanoyloxy)-10-(behenoxy)octadecanoate with behenyl mid-chain ester exhibited the most favorable low temperature performance (PP ?48 °C) and ethylhexyl 9-(octanoyloxy)-10-(octyloxy)octadecanoate octyl mid-chain ester exhibited higher oxidation stability (OT 142 °C) than the other synthetic ester oils. On the other hand, the highest ball wear scan diameter was obtained for ethylhexyl 9-(octanoyloxy)-10-(behenoxy)octadecanoate while the lowest value was obtained for 9-hydroxy-10-octyloxyoctadecanoic acid. The characteristics of engineering plastics used in the preparation of electrical and electronic equipment were studied. More specifically, their thermal response was recorded by DSC experiments, the rheological properties were investigated via MFI tests and the mechanical properties were evaluated with tensile tests. The aim was to establish a procedure for recycling the same engineering plastics deriving from waste of electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE), which offers the additional advantage of using the as-received waste stream as a recyclable mixture, i.e. without sorting and classification of its components.The experimental results showed that blends of PC with ABS or ABS/HIPS can be prepared by direct mixing and this, would allow easy handling of the engineering plastics coming from WEEE, i.e. blending without the need of sorting. These mixtures can be easily processed and display acceptable mechanical properties with reasonable cost. Therefore, the processing characteristics and properties of the systems studied in this work could be the key for the design of an interesting approach for handling solid plastic waste from electrical and electronic devices. 相似文献

Various C-aryl and C-alkyl-nitrones were synthesized within 0.5–2 h via condensation of an equimolar amount of aldehydes and N-substituted-hydroxylamines under solvent-free conditions in a ball-mill apparatus. Reactions can be performed without the need of excluding air and moisture and yields the expected products with no need for further purification. The study has been complemented by Differential Scanning Calorimetry (DSC) and solid-state 13C MAS nuclear magnetic resonance experiments. We have also studied the temperature profile during the reaction. A comparative study with the corresponding solvent-free microwave activated reaction showed the superiority of the ball-milling method; 31 examples are described, including the synthesis of the anti-aging agent C-phenyl-N-tert-butyl nitrone (PBN) and one of its analogues C-2-pyridyl-N-tert-butylnitrone (2-PyBN). 相似文献
