The superparamagnetic multilayer hybrid hollow microspheres have been fabricated using the layer‐by‐layer assembly technique by the electrostatic interaction between the polyelectrolyte cation chitosan (CS) and the hybrid anion citrate modified ferroferric oxide nanoparticles (Fe3O4‐CA) onto the sacrificial polystyrene sulfonate microspheres templates after etching the templates by dialysis. The saturation magnetization and magnetite contents of the superparamagnetic multilayer hybrid hollow microspheres were 32.46 emu/g and 51.3%, respectively. The hybrid hollow microspheres showed pH‐sensitive characteristics. The adsorption and release of the basic dye (methylene blue) were applied to investigate the interaction between the amino groups of CS and the carboxyl groups of the Fe3O4‐CA nanoparticles in different pH media. The superparamagnetic pH‐sensitive multilayer hybrid hollow microspheres are expected to be used for the targeted controlled release of drugs or in diagnostics. © 2010 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Poly(N‐vinyl‐pyrrolidone) (PVP) hydrogel has been considered as a very interesting and promising thermosensitive material. The most vital shortcoming of PVP hydrogel as thermosensitive material is that it does not exhibit thermosensitivity under usual conditions. In this work, semi‐interpenetrating polymer network (semi‐IPN) hydrogels based on PVP and carboxymethylcellulose (CMC) were prepared. The volume phase transition temperature (VPTT) of the hydrogels was determined by swelling behavior and differential scanning calorimetry (DSC). The results showed that the VPTT was significantly dependent on CMC content and the pH of the swelling medium. The amount of CMC in the semi‐IPN hydrogels was 0.050, 0.075, and 0.100 g, the VPTT in buffer solution of pH 1.2 was 29.9 °C, 27.5 °C and 24.5 °C, respectively. In addition, the VPTT occurred in buffer solution of pH 1.2, but did not appear in alkaline medium. Bovine serum albumin (BSA) as a model drug was loaded and the in vitro release studies were carried out in different buffer solutions and at different temperatures. The results of this study suggest that PVP/CMC semi‐IPN hydrogels could serve as potential candidates for protein drug delivery in the intestine. © 2010 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Conventional sol-gels are rather hydrophilic. A more hydrophobic material is obtained preparing organically modified siloxanes (ormosils). The polarity-sensitive probe Nile Red (NR) was doped in various sol-gels to probe their micro-polarity. The experiments show that the NR is an excellent probe and sensitive to the polarity of its microenvironment. Spectroscopic studies reveal remarkable changes in the absorption band positions and intensities as a function of the polarity of the sol-gel, which depends on the different precursors used. Furthermore, sol aging, gelation and temporal stability as a function of different ormosils have been investigated.  相似文献

P(BMA‐co‐HEMA‐spiropyran) was synthesized by reversible addition fragmentation chain transfer (RAFT) polymerization of butyl methacrylate (BMA) and 2‐(trimethylsilyloxy)‐ethyl methacrylate (HEMA‐TMS), removal of the TMS‐protective groups, and the polymer analogous esterification of the hydroxyethyl side chains with a spiropyran containing a carboxylic acid group. UV‐induced conformational changes of the synthesized macromolecules and low‐molecular‐weight spiropyran molecules were studied. Rate constants and half‐life times of the ring closure reaction from zwitterionic merocyanine to the spiropyran species were determined in the presence and absence of mica‐dispersed particles in toluene both with the free spiropyran and the polymer‐bound spiropyran. Scanning force microscopy was used to visualize the conformation of spiropyran‐decorated single macromolecular chains and agglomerated polymer‐bound merocyanine adsorbed on mica. © 2009 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Novel AB2‐type amphiphilic block copolymers of poly(ethylene glycol) and poly(N‐isopropylacrylamide), PEG‐b‐(PNIPAM)2, were successfully synthesized through single‐electron transfer living radical polymerization (SET‐LRP). A difunctional macroinitiator was prepared by esterification of 2,2‐dichloroacetyl chloride with poly(ethylene glycol) monomethyl ether (PEG). The copolymers were obtained via the SET‐LRP of N‐isopropylacrylamide (NIPAM) with CuCl/tris(2‐(dimethylamino)ethyl)amine (Me6TREN) as catalytic system and DMF/H2O (v/v = 3:1) mixture as solvent. The resulting copolymers were characterized by gel permeation chromatography and 1H NMR. These block copolymers show controllable molecular weights and narrow molecular weight distributions (PDI < 1.15). Their phase transition temperatures and the corresponding enthalpy changes in aqueous solution were measured by differential scanning calorimetry. As a result, the phase transition temperature of PEG44b‐(PNIPAM55)2 is similar to that in the case of PEG44b‐PNIPAM110; however, the corresponding enthalpy change is much lower, indicating the significant influence of the macromolecular architecture on the phase transition. This is the first study into the effect of macromolecular architecture on the phase transition using AB2‐type amphiphilic block copolymer composed of PEG and PNIPAM. © 2009 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. A chiral monomer containing L ‐leucine as a pendant group was synthesized from methacryloyl chloride and L ‐leucine in presence of sodium hydroxide at 4 °C. The monomer was polymerized by free radical polymerization in propan‐2‐ol at 60 °C using 2,2′‐azobis isobutyronitrile (AIBN) as an initiator under nitrogen atmosphere. The polymer, poly(2‐(Methacryloyloxyamino)‐4‐methyl pentanoic acid) is thus obtained. The molecular weight of the polymer was determined to be: Mw is 6.9 × 103 and Mn is 5.6 × 103. The optical rotation of both chiral monomer and its polymer varies with the solvent polarity. The amplification of optical rotation due to transformation of monomer to polymer is associated with the ordered conformation of chiral monomer unit in the polymeric chain due to some secondary interactions like H‐bonding. The synthesized monomer and polymer exhibit intense Cotton effect at 220 nm. The conformation of the chain segments is sensitive to external stimuli, particularly the pH of the medium. In alkaline medium, the ordered chain conformation is destroyed resulting disordered random coils. The ordered coiling conformation is more firmly present on addition of HCl. The polymer exhibits swelling‐deswelling characteristics with the change of pH of the medium, which is reversible. Double hydrophilic diblock copolymer, poly(N,N‐dimethylacrylamide)‐b‐poly(N‐isopropylacrylamide‐co‐3‐azidopropylacrylamide) (PDMA‐b‐P(NIPAM‐co‐AzPAM), containing azide moieties in one of the blocks was synthesized via consecutive reversible addition‐fragmentation chain transfer polymerization. The obtained diblock copolymer molecularly dissolves in aqueous solution at room temperature, and can further supramolecularly self‐assemble into core‐shell nanoparticles consisting of thermoresponsive P(NIPAM‐co‐AzPAM) cores and water‐soluble PDMA coronas above the lower critical solution temperature of P(NIPAM‐co‐AzPAM) block. As the micelle cores contain reactive azide residues, core crosslinking can be facilely achieved upon addition of difunctional propargyl ether via click chemistry. In an alternate approach in which the PDMA‐b‐P(NIPAM‐co‐AzPAM) diblock copolymer was dissolved in a common organic solvent (DMF), the core‐crosslinked (CCL) micelles can be fabricated via “click” crosslinking upon addition of propargyl ether and subsequent dialysis against water. CCL micelles prepared by the latter approach typically possess larger sizes and broader size distributions, compared with that obtained by the former one. In both cases, the obtained (CCL) micelles possess thermoresponsive cores, and the swelling/shrinking of which can be finely tuned with temperature, rendering them as excellent candidates as intelligent drug nanocarriers. Because of the high efficiency and quite mild conditions of click reactions, we expect that this strategy can be generalized for the structural fixation of other self‐assembled nanostructures. © 2007 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. 为了利用正电子发射断层成像技术在植物生理功能研究中的优势,正在开发由两个探测器相向放置构成的γ射线成像系统.系统中采用的探测器是由10×10的氧正硅酸镥(LSO)晶体阵列与滨松R5900-C12耦合组成.单个LSO尺寸为1.8mm×1.8mm×10mm.根据PET应用的特点,测试了该探测器的性能.所有闪烁晶体的图像在位置图谱中清楚可见;511keV全能峰处的能量分辨率位于14.5%—22%之间;符合时间分辨率随着位置灵敏光电倍增管的供给电压的增加而得到改善.这些实验结果表明,该LSO探测器适于构造高分辨率的双探测器成像系统.  相似文献
