随着宽带接入技术的发展,以太无源光网络是光纤到户的一种备选方案.而光网络单元数量众多,其成本成为限制以太无源光网络技术实施的重要影响因素.本文提出了一种低成本以太无源光网络单元实现方式:采用带柔性电路板的单纤双向光纤组件直接安装在光网络单元的电路板上.为了验证弯曲柔性电路板的高速性能没有恶化,采用有限元方法仿真了弯曲柔性电路板的小信号响应.由于该方式没有独立的光收发模块,无法采用比特误码分析仪进行测试,因此提出了采用网络测试仪搭建光网络单元的光信号性能测试系统的方案并实现了对光信号的性能测试.结果表明:对于发射机,在0℃~70℃的范围内得到了超过10dB的消光比和1dBm的平均发射功率;对于接收机,估算灵敏度为-27dBm. 相似文献

A passive neutron area monitor has been designed using Monte Carlo methods; the monitor is a polyethylene cylinder with pairs of thermoluminescent dosimeters (TLD600 and TLD700) as thermal neutron detector. The monitor was calibrated with a bare and a thermalzed 241AmBe neutron sources and its performance was evaluated measuring the ambient dose equivalent due to photoneutrons produced by a 15 MV linear accelerator for radiotherapy and the neutrons in the output of a TRIGA Mark III radial beam port. 相似文献

This paper applies dolphin whistles to covert underwater acoustic (UWA) communication and proposes a UWA communication scheme based on M-ary bionic signal coding. At the transmitter end, the scheme maps multiple information bits into a dolphin whistle through a signal selector. At the receiver end, passive time reversal mirror (PTRM) is used for channel equalization and source information is restored according to the decision of which whistle is transmitted. The scheme has high spread spectrum gain. The anti multi-path performance is greatly improved when using PTRM. Different from traditional covert UWA communication methods, this mimicked signal is unlikely to alert an adversary even in high SNRs because of its real existence in marine environment. A tank experiment is conducted for the scheme, at communication rate of 50 bit/s with SNR −5 dB user information is recovered at a very low bit error rate. The results of tank experiment demonstrate the feasibility of this covert UWA communication scheme. 相似文献

A centralized seeding source based loopback WDM-PON is fundamentally limited by Rayleigh backscattering (RB) noise. Here a novel modulation format, called as Coded RZ (CoRZ), is proposed to enhance the system performance in the presence of RB for RSOA based reflective access networks. The result shows that the proposed technique can be effectively improved the tolerance of signal-to-crosstalk ratio (SCR) by about 8 dB and 2.5 dB from conventional NRZ and RZ modulation formats respectively to maintain power penalty ≤ 2 dB. 相似文献

In this paper, we have analyzed the signal processing methods both in digital and optical domain to enhance the transmission performance of downstream signalling in long reach passive optical networks (LR-PONs). The impact of non-linear (NL) equalization through signal processing, i.e. Volterra Equalization (VE), Digital Backpropagation (BP) and Optical Phase Conjugation with Non-linearity Module (OPC-NM) is investigated, in 10 Gbit/s (XG) DP-QPSK long-reach wavelength division multiplexed (WDM) PONs without midspan repeaters over 120 km standard single mode fibre (SMF) link for down-stream signals. Due to the compensation of optical Kerr effects, the sensitivity penalty is reduced to 2 dB by BP algorithm, 1.5 dB by VE algorithm and 2.69 dB by OPC-NM. Moreover, with the implementation of NL equalization technique we are able to get the transmission distance of 126.6 km SMF for the 1:1024 split-ratio at 5 GHz channel spacing in the non-linear region. Furthermore, the concept of super passive optical network (S-PON) is also evaluated, which involves a repeater stage consisting of optical amplifiers, to study the feasibility for receiver side signal processing and simplification. 相似文献

Passive control of structural vibrations has received in recent years a great attention from researchers concerned with vibration control. Several types of devices have been proposed in order to reduce the dynamic responses of different kinds of structural systems. Among them, the Tuned Liquid Column Damper (TLCD) proved to be very effective in reducing vibration of structures. Since the increasing use of TLCDs in practical realizations, this paper aims at developing an approximate formulation, by means of a statistical linearization technique, able to estimate the parameters of a structure equipped with a TLCD subjected to random loads for pre-design purposes. Moreover, it is shown that results obtained via Monte Carlo approach on the non-linear system are in good agreement with those obtained by means of the proposed formulation. 相似文献

The composition of the surface film formed on pure iron was investigated in a solution of 0.05 M NaOH and 0.05 M NaCl. Raman spectra of the film were recorded in situ during anodic polarisation over the passive region after addition of the NaCl to the electrolyte, under conditions of preresonance enhancement using excitation at 636.4 nm. Multivariate curve resolution with alternating least squares analysis was applied to the spectra to measure the relative amounts of different iron oxide and oxyhydroxides in the film at different potentials. The water content was also determined in this way from Raman spectra recorded using excitation at 514.5 nm. It was found that the composition of the film and the amount of incorporated water were influenced by the applied anodic potential. The results show that stable pitting can occur when the composition changes from the primary constituents β‐FeOOH and Green Complex (a hydrated, amorphous magnetite) with smaller amounts of γ‐Fe2O3 and γ‐FeOOH, to δ‐FeOOH and Green Complex, simultaneously with a reduction in water content. These changes result in conditions that favour the rate of localised breakdown of the film by Cl− ions over the rate of repassivation by water in the passive film. The aim of this work is to control the dynamic system behavior represented by a beam at simultaneous primary and sub-harmonic resonance condition, where the system damage is probable. Control is conducted via time delay absorber to suppress chaotic vibrations. A comprehensive investigation of the effect of the time delay on the control of a beam when subjected to multi- parametric excitation forces is presented. Multiple scale perturbation method is applied to obtain the solution up to the second order approximation. Different resonance cases are reported and studied numerically. Stability of the steady state solution for the selected resonance case is investigated applying Rung-Kutta fourth order method and frequency response equations via Matlab 7.0 and Maple11. Time delay absorber is effective like ordinary one within a specified range of time delay. The delay time is an important factor in selecting the absorber. The effects of the different parameters of the absorber on the system behavior are studied numerically. The reported results are compared with the available published work. 相似文献
