Analysis of primary aliphatic short-chain monoamines by LC in water samples

Several derivatization procedures with o-phthaldialdehyde-N-acetylcysteine (OPA-NAC) were compared for a rapid analysis of primary aliphatic short-chain monoamines in water samples by HPLC using a LiChorospher analytical separation column (100RP₁₈ mm i.d., 5 μm). Both the solution and the solid-support assisted off-line derivatization on C₁₈ SPE cartridges were inadequate options because of beginning degradation processes of the instable isoindol derivatives during their transfer to the analytical column. This problem was precluded with the on-column or solid-support assisted on-line derivatization. In the last mentioned procedure, the derivatization took place in a Hypersil C₁₈ precolumn ( mm i.d., 30 μm) connected with an additional preconcentration step resulting in better detection limits (0.002-0.040 μg ml⁻¹ requiring only 150 μl of water sample) than in the on-column procedure (0.08-0.16 μg ml⁻¹). The improved sample handling, the better control of parameters affecting reaction rates, the fully automation of this method with only 10 min analysis time for each sample are further advantageous. The potential of the solid-support assisted on-line derivatization was outlined and applied to water samples from several sources. Recovery values near 100% were obtained.     

毛细管电泳分离几种神经递质的研究

研究了不同毛细管预处理方法对组胺、5-羟色胺及儿茶酚胺类神经递质电泳分离的影响，采用优化的毛细管预处理方法及电泳分离条件基线分离了组胺、5-羟色胺、去甲肾上腺素和肾上腺素。利用多巴胺和5-羟色胺在毛细管内壁吸附效应的不同，对电泳淌度极为相近的多巴胺和5-羟色胺进行了分离和鉴定。以PC22细胞为研究对象，证实了该细胞中所含大量神经递质是多巴胺，不是5-羟色胺。     

A new method for the synthesis of CF3-containing aminovinyl ketones

A new method for the synthesis of aminovinyl trifluoromethyl ketones was developed. The method is based on the reactions of 4-sulfonyl-1,1,1-trifluorobut-3-ene-2,2-diols with various alkyl-, aryl-, dialkyl-, and alkylarylamines. The stereochemistry of the compounds obtained was studied.

Addition and Substitution Reactions at Tetrafluoro- and Tetrachlorodiborane(4) From equimolar mixtures of B₂F₄ and Me_nN(SiMe₃)_3-n (n = 0–3) the mono-addition products 1–4 are formed at low temperatures. By elimination of Me₃SiF the adduct 2 gives the dimeric monosubstituted diborane 8 , which slowly decomposes at room temperature to the aminoborane 6 and (BF)_n. The course of the reactions was studied by means of ¹¹B and ¹⁹F NMR spectroscopy and by measuring the vapor pressures. According to the ¹¹B and ³¹P NMR spectra the reaction of B₂Cl₄ with PCl₅ or [Me₄N]Cl in liquid hydrogen chloride at 0°C does not yield [PCl₄]₂⁺[B₂Cl₆]^2? or [Me₄N]₂⁺[B₂Cl₆]^2? but gives [PCl₄]⁺[BCl₄]^?, PCl₃ and BCl₃ or [Me₄N]⁺[BCl₄]^? and BCl₃ besides (BCl)_n.     

Tertiary amine-mediated synthesis of microporous carbon membranes

Microporous carbon membranes were prepared on an -alumina support by a pyrolysis of cationic tertiary amine/anionic polymer composites. The precursor solutions contain a thermosetting resorcinol/formaldehyde (RF) polymer and a cationic tertiary amine. Three types of cationic tertiary amines with different chain lengths were used, such as tetramethlammonium bromide (TMAB), tetrapropylammonium bromide (TPAB) and cetyltrimethylammonium bromide (CTAB). A porous structure was produced by a decomposition of the amine and the resulting pores assisted the further gasification of the RF polymer at high temperature. The carbon/alumina membranes have thin and continuous carbon top layers with a thickness of 1 μm. Gas permeation tests were performed using single gases of CO₂, O₂, N₂, CF₄, n-C₄H₁₀ and i-C₄H₁₀, as well as binary mixtures of CH₄/n-C₄H₁₀ and N₂/CF₄ at different temperatures between 23 and 150 °C. The carbon membrane prepared using TMAB showed separation factors higher than 650 for the CH₄/n-C₄H₁₀ mixtures and higher than 8100 for the N₂/CF₄ mixture. From the permeation of pure gases with different molecular sizes, the pore sizes of the carbon membrane prepared using TMAB, TPAB and CTAB are estimated to be 4.0, 5.0 and larger than 5.5 Å, respectively, indicating that the micropore size of the carbon membranes is controllable by using different amines.     

气相色谱法测定阳离子表面活性剂合成体系中脂肪烷基二甲基叔胺

选用HP-NINOWax毛细管色谱柱及氢火焰离子化检测器（FID），采用程序升温，建立了4种脂肪烷基二甲基叔胺的分析方法。结果表明，4种脂肪烷基二甲基叔胺质量浓度在0.005~1.0 g/L范围内，其峰面积与质量浓度有良好的线性关系，相关系数（R²）在0.9996以上。检出限（LODs，信噪比为3）在0.001~0.002 g/L之间，定量限（LOQs，信噪比为10）在0.003~0.005 g/L之间，回收率在90%~130%之间，相对标准偏差为1.3%~6.9%（n=6）。方法的线性范围宽、回收率高、选择性好，可用于叔胺的产品质量分析及生产过程控制分析。利用该方法对阳离子表面活性剂合成反应中十六烷基二甲基叔胺进行监测，结果很好地符合双分子亲核取代反应。该方法比滴定分析法更快速、精确，与液相色谱法相比，不需要进行柱前衍生或者使用色谱-质谱联用仪器。     

Gas chromatographic analysis of bifunctional amines after derivatization with methyldichlorophosphine and sulfur

Summary A derivatization procedure for the gas chromatographic analysis of bifunctional amines likeβ-adrenergic blocking drugs is described. The method consists of a two-step reaction with methyldichlorophosphine and sulfur in presence of triethylamine to form cyclic methylphosphonothioic derivatives. The properties of these compounds are discussed and the application of the method to the quantitation of ephedrine in human body fluids is presented. Polyaromatic amines. Part 3: Synthesis of poly(diarylamino)styrenes and related compounds

The title compounds were synthesised and characterised as part of a study into new aromatic amines for charge transporting materials. Compounds 12-16, 20-24 and 27-34 are alkene linked triarylamines, compounds 35-36 are hydrazone derivatives and compounds 38-41 are pyrrole substituted triarylamines. Each compound was characterised by cyclic voltammetry.     

U-4C-3CR versus U-5C-4CR and stereochemical outcomes using suitable bicyclic β-amino acid derivatives as bifunctional components in the Ugi reaction

Intramolecular Ugi reactions with bicyclic β-amino acids have been performed and the effects of the configuration and N-alkylation have been studied. We have proven that preferential ring contraction or nucleophilic attack by the solvent depend not only on the presence of N-alkylation but also on the relative disposition of the carboxyl group and the amine. Excellent results in terms of stereoselectivity have been obtained in the case of N-alkyl-3-exo-amino-7-oxabicyclo[2.2.1]-2-endo-carboxylic acids.     

Mannich reaction in the synthesis of N,S-containing heterocycles. 1. Synthesis of novel derivatives of imidazo[2,1-<Emphasis Type="Italic">b</Emphasis>][1,3,5]thiadiazine

Reactions of (Z)-5-benzylidene-2-thiohydantoin with formaldehyde and primary aromatic amines afforded novel derivatives of imidazo[2,1-b][1,3,5]thiadiazine in 50–69% yields.
