How electrons guard the space: shape optimization with probability distribution criteria

Efficient formulas for computing the probabilities of finding exactly electrons in an arbitrarily chosen volume ³ for Hartree–Fock wavefunctions are presented. These formulas allow the use of shape optimization techniques, such as level set methods, for optimizing with respect to various criteria involving such probabilities. The criterion defined as the difference between the Hartree–Fock and the independent-particle model probabilities of finding electrons in stresses the quantum effects due to the Pauli principle. We have implemented a 2D level set method for optimizing this criterion in order to study spatial separation of electron pairs in linear molecules. 群青颜料呈色机理的电子顺磁共振研究

在氩气氛中，合成了SrMgF4：xEu，yTb复合组化物磷光体．该体系中Eu3 和Eu2 共存．随共掺入Tb浓度的增加，Eu3 的荧光发射强度降低，Eu2 的发光增强；并且Eu2 的ESR信号增强．认为Eu3 和Tb3 之间存在电荷迁移．即Eu3 ＋Tb3 →Eu2 ＋Tb4 .通过半定量手段研究了这一电荷迁移反应的平衡常数     

四种溴代甲苯异构体的质谱区分

本工作用四种较新的质谱技术(碰撞诱导解离(CID),电荷剥离(CS),电荷分离(CSe),电子捕获诱导解离(ECID)谱研究了邻、间、对溴甲苯和溴化苄四种异构体。四种技术在一定程度上都可区分这些异构体。其中比较四种异构体ECID谱中ECID峰的相对强度可得到满意的区分效果。     

Do intramolecular halogen bonds exist? Ab initio calculations and crystal structures’ evidences

Cl···O intramolecular contacts are analysed here. Hence the Cambridge Structural Database (CSD) search was performed to find five-membered Cl–C=C–C=O pseudo-rings closed through Cl···O intramolecular contacts. Such rings were analysed and it was found that some of Cl···O distances are smaller than the corresponding sum of van der Waals radii. Additionally ab initio MP2/6-311++G(d,p) calculations and AIM analyses were carried out here on 3-chloropropenal and its fluoro derivatives to deepen the nature of intramolecular Cl···O interactions, some of findings may indicate that they are attractive and stabilizing ones. Three-way-output response system by electric potential: UV-vis, CD, and fluorescence spectral changes upon electrolysis of the chiral ester of tetracyanoanthraquinodimethane

The newly prepared tetracyanoanthraquinodimethane (TCNAQ) derivatives 1a,b with a chiral auxiliary are good electron acceptors and exhibit weak circular dichroism (CD) based on the absorption of TCNAQ. The twin-type electron acceptor 1c with two TCNAQ units shows larger ellipticity by exciton coupling. UV-vis, CD, and fluorescence spectra were changed drastically upon electrochemical reduction of 1c, which demonstrates the unprecedented three-way-output response system.
