Tri-component diblock copolymers of poly(ethylene glycol)–poly(ε-caprolactone-<Emphasis Type="Italic">co</Emphasis>-lactide): synthesis,characterization and loading camptothecin

Biodegradable tri-component diblock copolymer was synthesized by bulk copolymerization of ε-caprolactone (CL) and D, L-lactide (LA) in the presence of methoxy poly(ethylene glycol) (MePEG), using stannous octoate as catalyst. Their chemical structure and physical properties were investigated by GPC, NMR, DSC, TGAand XRD. The increase of CL/LA ratio in the diblock copolymer leads to lower T _g, higher decomposition temperature and crystallinity. Nanoparticles formulated from MePEG–poly(CL-co-LA) (PCAE) possess spherical structure, which was characterized by dynamic light scattering (DLS) and transmission electron microscopy (TEM). The DLS results indicate that the particle size increased with the increase of CL/LA ratio and the hydrophobic fragment length in the copolymer. The drug encapsulation efficiency and the drug release behavior in vitro conditions of camptothecin were measured by high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC). The encapsulation efficiency can be achieved as high as 84.4% and the release behavior can be made well-controlled. MePEG–poly(CL-co-LA) nanoparticles might have a great potential as carriers for hydrophobic drugs.     

ZnGA-MMT catalyzed the copolymerization of carbon dioxide with propylene oxide

Zinc glutarate (ZnGA) synthesized from zinc oxide and glutarate acid was dispersed on the surface of acid-treated montmorillonite (MMT) in quinoline to prepare ZnGA-MMT catalyst. The results of X-ray diffraction (XRD) and Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR) measurements indicated that the ZnGA on the surface of acid-treated MMT had the same crystalline structure as pure ZnGA. Copolymerization between CO₂ and propylene oxide (PO) was carried out under optimized reaction conditions using ZnGA-MMT catalyst, consequently giving poly(propylene carbonate) (PPC) with high molecular weight in a very high yield (115.2 g polymer per gram of ZnGA). The obtained PPCs were investigated using ¹³C NMR and FTIR spectra, showing a completely alternating structure. Differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) and thermogravimetric analysis (TGA) examinations showed the PPCs with a high transition temperature of 38 °C and a very high decomposition temperature (>250 °C) due to the presence of MMT residual in polymer.     

聚四氟乙烯纤维辐照接枝制备弱酸性离子交换剂及其对Cu~(2+)的吸附

以聚四氟乙烯纤维为基体通过6 0 Co辐射引发与丙烯酸接枝制备弱酸性阳离子交换纤维 .产物功能基含量为 3 0 6mmol g,在pH =5时该纤维达到对Cu2 + 的最大动态吸附量为 10 7 4 8mg g.使用不同浓度HCl对饱和吸附铜的接枝纤维进行洗脱 ,证实该纤维对铜离子具有优异的解吸性能     

手性苯并咪唑铜(Ⅱ)络合物催化合成1,1''''-联-2萘酚

In the past several decades, much attention has been paid to optically active, C2-asymmetric 1,1′-binaphthalene-2,2′-diol and its derivatives because of their application in inducing chirality in asymmetric synthesis[1,2]. Enantiomerically pure 1,1′-binaphthalene-2,2′-diol has been prepared by many methods ranging from the classical resolution via crystallization of the diastereoisomeric salts[3] to asymmetric oxidative coupling[4～6].     

Synthesis of Thiourea Derivatives on Soluble Polymeric Support

A modified poly(ethylene glycol) (PEG) has been developed as the soluble polymeric supports for liquid phase synthesis of novel thiourea derivatives.In each step of the sequence,the PEG-bound products were precipitated in cold Et2O and the unreacted materials and by-products were removed by simple filtration.The progress of reaction,purity of the isolation and the structure of the PEG-bound products were easily monitored by TLC,IR and ^1H NMR spectra.Representative thiourea derivatives were obtained in moderate yields with excellent purity from this modified PEG-bound product by the cleavage with 50% TFA/H2O.

Growth and Characterization of Crystal Nd_(0.06)Y_(0.94)Sr_6Sc(BO_3)_6

<正>The crystal of Nd0.06Y0.94Sr6Sc(BO3)6 with the dimensions up to 35 mm × 28 mm × 13 mm was grown by a top-seeded solution growth method from Li6B4O9 flux. The grown crystal was characterized by X-ray powder diffraction. The optical absorption of the crystal shows that it has a strong absorption band at 8070 A, and the absorption coefficient is 2.17cm-1 with a FWHM of 41 A, which can match with the wavelength of the diode-laser (LD) and is suitable for the LD pumping. Based on the Judd-Ofelt theory, the three parameters of line oscillator strength Ω(λ) (λ = 2, 4 and 6) of the Nd3+ion in the crystal were calculated as follows: Ω2= 1.194 × 10-20, Ω4= 4.186 × 10-20 and Ω6 = 3.351 × 10-20cm2, which are relatively larger. The results indicate that the crystal Nd0.06Y0.94Sr6Sc(BO3)6 may be a kind of high-efficient laser material for diode-pumped.     

Determination of proteins at nanogram levels by a resonance light-scattering technique with tetra-substituted sulphonated aluminum phthalocyanine

This is the first report on the determination of proteins with tetra-substituted sulphonated aluminum phthalocyanine (AlS₄Pc) by resonance light-scattering (RLS). At pH 3.0, the weak RLS of AlS₄Pc can be enhanced by the addition of proteins. Based on this, a novel quantitative method has been developed for the determination of proteins in aqueous solutions. Under optimal conditions, the linear ranges of the calibration curves were 0.050–2.0 μg ml⁻¹ for both human serum albumin (HSA) and human r-IgG. The detection limits were 12.7 ng ml⁻¹ for HSA and 16.1 ng ml⁻¹ for human r-IgG. The method has been applied to the analysis of total protein in human serum samples collected from the hospital and the results were in good agreement with those reported by the hospital, which indicates that the method presented here is not only sensitive, simple, but also reliable and suitable for practical applications.

于固－液相转移催化条件下，合成了１０个１－芳氧基乙酰基－４－邻氯苯甲酰基氨基硫脲衍生物，用元素分析、ＩＲ和￣１Ｈ－ＮＭＲ光谱确定了它们的结构。该类化合物对小麦幼苗生长具有明显的促进作用。     

Alternativ-Liganden. XXIII. Rhodium(I)-Komplexe mit Donor/Akzeptor-Liganden des Typs (Me2PCH2CH2SiX2 und (2-Me2PC6H4)SiXMe2 (X = F,Cl)

Alternative Ligands. XXIII Rhodium(I) Complexes with Donor/Acceptor Ligands of the Type (Me₂PCH₂CH₂)₂SiX₂ and (2-Me₂PC₆H₄)SiXMe₂ (X = F, Cl) Donor/acceptor ligands of the type (Me₂PCH₂CH₂)₂SiX₂ and (2-Me₂PC₆H₄)SiXMe₂ (X = F, Cl) react with [Rh(CO)₂Cl]₂ (₁) to give the mononuclear complexes RhCl(CO)(Me₂PCH₂CH₂)₂SiX₂ [X = F( 4 ), Cl ( 5 )] and RhCl(CO)[2-Me₂PC₆H₄)SixMe₂]₂ [X = F ( 8 ), Cl ( 9 )], respectively. In case of the ligands (Me₂PCH₂CH₂)₂SiCl₂ ( 3 ) and (2-Me₂PC₆H₆)SiClMe₂ ( 7 ) the Rh(I) complexes formed in the first step partly undergo oxidative addition reactions of SiCl bonds yielding rhodium(III) compounds of low solubility. Only for 8 the coordination shifts Δδ = δ(complex)?δ(ligand) and coupling constants give some indication to possible Rh→Si interactions. However, the molecular structure of 8 determined by X-ray diffraction does not show RhSi or RhF bonding contacts. The new compounds were characterized by analytical (C, H) and spectroscopic investigations (MS, IR,-NMR).
